I use this to transfer photos and videos from my Pixel 6 phone to my Windows 10 desktop computer. It is very easy to use and didn’t require any setup, literally plug and play. The only problem is that it is very slow to copy the photos/videos across.
I purchased this product, to keep some of my files safe and at hand from my PC to be able to use them on any other device and it does this so well. I now use it to back up everything, files photos and music, I no longer have to worry about any device telling me that my storage is almost full and need to buy more cloud space, I can now manage my own storage and have piece of mind that it’s safe. Purchased this as my iCloud is full and my phone was full of photos, it was super easy to download the app and transfer all my photos from my phone to this. The app is simple to use, my phone (iPhone) recognised it straight away and was super easy to transfer to my computer. Way better then having to pay a monthly subscription to get more storage. Feels quality and sturdy would feel more then confident having this on a key chain if o needed it frequently.
It was bought to transfer quite a volume of family photos from an iPhone to a PC storage device.
The built in features I found by using it allows so much more, such as the back-up of contacts, storage of music, storage of all Office files and photos and connection to a main PC.
The first thing to do is download the app ( from Coodisk) from the app store on Apple and the USB more or less sets up itself.
No need to type a link for the app – when you plug it in it ‘advises and offers’ the link on the first screen.
Once installed, all the feature of the USB and the app are plain and simple to read and use.
The user manual is basic but really not required if using the app.
The USB has 4 x ports, 3 x of which I am able to use as I have Apple products – however this USB works with Android as well.Transfer rate of the files is reasonably fast and connection to the PC was seamless.
This is a good USB device to carry on vacation due to its physical size and it’s capacity.
Price is very reasonable for what it does and the quality of the device is good ( solid metal and not plastic).
Well worth a decent review and well worth a buy.
Transfer rates are surprisingly good at around 50mb/s.
The three smaller ports have plastic covers on them which I expect to lose promptly, but they look solid enough so should still be okay in a bag.
Got Samsung S21 ultra and keep getting low memory message, simply plug this in go to file manager and copied all photos and videos over very fast, just plugs into laptop and copy over. Also works great on wife’s iPhone but need to down load an app which it automatically asks to down load. Seems very well made
