USB to USB C Adapter USB C Female to USB Male Adapter USB A
USB to USB C Adapter USB C Female to USB Male Adapter USB A to USB C Adaptor Type C to USB Converter for Apple iWatch 8 7,iPhone 11 12 13 14 Max Pro,iPad Air 4 5 Mini 6,Samsung Galaxy S23 S22 (4 Pack)
Got these and they actually work, fast charging at 1%/min and 2%/min plane mode for a normal working phone. Works anywhere where you cant get type-c but only USB like bus, train, airports, socket walls with usb ports, cars, travel bags, you name it. My advice is get in packs coz your friends gonna nick them off you :). Just one of those must have handy little gadgets.
This adapter works well to convert USB-C charging cables to USB, allowing different charging blocks to be used. The adapter doesn’t seem to affect the charging speed, with devices charging normally. They feel durable, and include a good range of colours.
We did test if you could use the adapter to transfer files from a USB-C SD card reader, but this isn’t possible as no device is recognised.
I find that a lot more devices are starting to come with USB-C now which is very convenient for most uses such as connecting to my iPad and laptop. The issue is on my main Windows PC, I don’t have a USB-C port which is easily accessible, I, therefore, ordered these adapters and so far they seem to work great.
They are plug-and-play and work exactly as you would expect. You plug in your USB-C device and on the other side, they have a USB-A male connector which allows it to fit my PC’s USB ports perfectly. You get 4 in a pack which is great for having a few around, I like to keep one in my bag when travelling just in case.
The adapters are very compact which means they are easy to store and they also feel quite durable which is nice. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.
At a little over a pound each, these little USB-A to USB-C adapters are super value for money. There is a wonderful selection of colours in the 4 supplied, very minimalistic packaging too, which I appreciate.
This sort of adapters are so handy to have, as more and more cables I encounter are the USB-C variety and of course on older kit there is usually a USB-A port.
I was sent this product for review, as part of Amazon Vine.
As someone who owns a lot of gadgets requiring USB C sockets, this product was, hopefully, fulfilling a need.
Each adapter feels absolutely solid – the body is made of metal, and each end is securely attached. The ‘male’ part of the adapter does not feel like it will bend easily.
The choice of colours is handy, should you need to share them out between family/friends. Each adapter is pretty small, as well, so would easily fit in your pocket. Because of its small size, the product could have been improved by adding a loop for a keychain – otherwise it could quite quickly become lost.
I’ve tested the adapters on a number of devices – all of them work well, so I now have more options for charging. A good value set.
If like me you have a bunch of USB C to C type cables, these will allow you to turn very common USB A ports to be used for charging and data transfer with USB-C cables.
For example, pretty much most devices have a USB type A port in them. this is because the USB Type-A port has been around since 1996 and has pretty much been standardised as the ‘go-to’ port ever since. However, with the recent introduction of USB C, there’s no way of connecting newer USB C cables to these older ports without an adapter.
So if you only have a C to C type cable, and don’t want to purchase a Type A to Type C cable. These convert the end from a Type C to a Type A port – allowing them to be used with more devices. There’s not much more to say about this, they’re simple and do the job. They also support fast charging and data transfer.
I think the only improvements on these would be to have:
– Some clip or velcro straps to keep them attached to the cable when not in actual use to prevent them from getting misplaced.
-Support USB 3.0 transfer speeds, so if you’re looking to use these for – purposes other than charging your phone – I’d look for a USB 3.0 version.
At the end of the day, I’d still recommend these as they’re good for the price, especially since they come as a four-pack. I use mine on the mains plug sockets to convert the USB Type-A ports to Type-C without buying new and more expensive mains sockets with USB-C. For just over 1.20 per adapter, these are a great pickup and I recommend them.
There’s not too much to say about these as they are a simple, but, well made pack of 4 adapters. Converting from USB C to USB A.
These are just what I needed with everything these days coming with USB C cables. I can now once again use the numerous USB A charging plugs and sockets I’ve accumulated over the years. I can now also hook my phone, among other things, up to my desktop PC as that only has USB A and USB A 3.0 ports.
They are really nicely made adapters coming in four different colours. The adapter housing appears to be made from aluminium(?) and not, as you’d suspect, plastic. Which is a very nice touch adding a slightly more premium look and feel while adding confidence in their durability too.
I would have given these adapters a five star rating if it weren’t for the fact I got a USB C to USB A in the same order and that has a much more stylish metal housing with the edges of the housing having been chamfered. Note that this is purely visual and the functionality of the adapters is perfect and on par with the other adapter. Add to this the fact that the other adapter was also practically the same price for one as the four of these. If I had to choose between the two deals I would take the four of these every single time over the one ‘slightly prettier’ adapter.
Handy pack of four USB-A (male) to USB-C (female) adaptors in a range of colours. Neat and compact design so easily carried in a purse or pocket, ensuring that you are never caught out with the wrong style charging cable to hand. Now that many new phones are supplied only with a charging cable, usually terminated with a USB-C plug, not with a charger, it is useful to carry one of these little gizmos around so that you can ‘piggy-back’ into whatever charger may be available when you need one! In the case of hotels where built-in USB sockets are (thankfully) becoming more commonplace, this is all you’re likely to need in order to charge your mobile device, provided you have your charging cable with you (see image).
A small, very affordable item, that can avoid manifold connectivity issues as one moves portable equipment from location to locatio
A very good buy as I get 4 x usb-a male to usc-c female adaptors. Each one is coloured different, not that this is helpful in any way to me. I simply keep one in each room I use my phone infor the purpose of converting usb-a to usb-c charging leads.
Thankfully the new usb-c is the new and better standard for connectivity and yet many older chargers still come with usb-a sockets. These adaptors are just ideal for keeping the old but still useful chargers operating and therefore saving too much electrical waste.
USB C is a standard for new USB devices and these adapters allow connection from USB C devices to older USB ports. They are small and tidy, without extra wires. Just plug into a USB socket and plug the USB C device into that. Simple. At 1 each (at the time of writing this review) they are good value. Good quality and they work.
