it’s a bit small – I thought it would be a little bit bigger but still it will make my nearly 2 year old very happy

What an amazing workbench for a young toddler! So many fun pieces with a fun design , teaches how to build things with the pieces available many of the pieces are functional and do something which is really fun! The only downside is a toddler can take the whole workbench apart but it also means they can help learn to put it back together so I think this toy can provide endless fu
Vtech is a brand name so any parent woudl be happy if there children were gifted this or if they were to buy it themselves.
The rrp is very good once you see what you actually get and the educational beneifts of this while your child learns through play.
As standard all the parts big and small are very sturdy and built to last so could easily be passed on to siblings.
My son loves his own work bench especially the lights, music and sound and he’s 4, been playing with this for 3 months and he still plays with this every day so it really is worth the money.
My 4 year old has loved playing with this work bench, it looks great and there is loads to do with it. It has lights, sounds and songs and there are many tools to play with. There are different modes you can select for the sound play, there are songs which are both tedious and amusing with the lyrics. The sounds are pretty good for the tools and it also teaches which tool is which as well. My kids see me doing a lot of DIY myself so my 4 and 7 year old enjoy pretending to make things in their workshop business.
It took about 10 minutes to put it together, it’s pretty straight forward and the stickers are the fiddliest thing really. The quality is very good and the tools are all well made. It does give the problem of me being whacked across the knees with a hammer or stabbed with a screwdriver but these are hazards of the job.

Comparing the price to what else we have bought for a similar price and this is really good value, I feel like it’s a very good quality and well thought out toy with lots and lots of different things to do.
My granddaughter absolutely loves this set. When my partner is doing any DIY she pulls this bench out and wants to help. It has got so many accessories it gives endless fun.

Fun tool station/workbench from vtech. Amazing quality and very educational as I often find with vtech products. I found it a little tricky to put together following the instructions provided and took longer than I expected although I did do it in the evening so maybe tiredness played a part in this. There was also one built in part that was slightly out of place so I had to remove some screws to rearrange that for it to work properly. Only negatives I have is that the whole bench itself is held together using the plastic nuts and bolts provided and is incredibly easy for little ones to take apart. Quite frustrating to have to keep rebuilding it when they decide to remove all the bolts. Also there is a car shape shown to build out of the small plastic parts provided that isn’t possible to make due to the thickness of the parts which was quite frustrating for my little girl. A pricey product but great quality so bound to last a good while. Would recommend.
This is exactly what it says on the ‘tin’ – a busy work bench. It requires an adult to assemble the bench and to stick the stickers on. The whole thing took about 15minutes to complete. It works like a real work bench, it has a drill bed, a circular saw and a grinder, they all turn like the real thing with spring-loaded mechanism. The play action can get so close to the real thing. There is a toy screw driver and a wrench in the pack, they are actually what you will need to put the work bench together, also required when making various items using it to screw the pieces together.
I am particularly impressed by the ‘electric’ screwdriver. There is a switch to switch direction just like the real thing, it actually works in screwing the toy screws into the holes on the worktop.
I am also very impressed by the console that has music and sound. The songs are all DIY related, they are all upbeat songs with funny lyrics, I chuckled many times and had fun with it.
There is also a learning mode that you can learn about which each tool is for what in a playful way. You can also learn numbers with the music by moving the sliding rule. It all very clever and creative.
My lad really loves this work bench. It is very playable and very well-made. This is good for age 3 and up due to small pieces of bolts and nuts.
Very impressed by this work bench, very thoughtful and very playful. I could see a lot of work have been put into designing this toy and it worth much more than 74.99 in my opinion.
This is the closest pretend-play you can get closer to the real thing, so much fun!
