Hence getting this.

Would recommend
Nice product.. it was well packed and easy to find out.. The screen is so clear and the videos it’s easy to play .. settings also it’s easy to find out.. it was not difficult to connect with the car.. The touch was also working well . it’s worth of this price. Quality is also nice .
I’ve stuck this in my 2008 mk1 ford KA and have connected it to my Radio’s FM via my Android phone. Setup time less than 10 minutes and it works brilliantly.
Update: 3 weeks later and the facility to connect to the car’s FM Radio has failed. I’m using the audio lead connection instead and the sound quality is better.
Debating whether to go through the hassle of returning this
It works just as well as an integrated screen. My car has a screen already as standard but does not support CarPlay.
I was sceptical of the quality and functionality, however it runs perfectly. Works in conjunction with my vehicles current system with no problems whatsoever.
I was so happy that I bought this Apple carplay for my old car without the Satnav. It really solved my problem. This Apple carplay is very simple to fit into any car. Simply Stick It to anywhere u want and you are good to go. Very quick to connect to your iphone by just clicking some buttons via Bluetooth. It’s wireless and response is very smooth. It takes about 10 second to reconnect to your phone when you are nearby. You can adjust brightness volume and talk to It like using your iPhone. You can also play music. It also comes with rear camera so you can see what is behind the car when reversing. Now I really enjoy a long journey with this Apple carplay.
Use condition: My car is quite old so there is no Bluetooth or navigater, so I need something for long tour with clear navigation as well as keep my phone available for other purposes.
Package: it comes with a screen, charging cable ,aux cable, sticky mount and suction mount. Also there is a warranty paper so that I can contact the customer service.
Usage: Suction mount is great and solid. I drove 60 on b road and surprisingly it didn’t get loose. The OS is clear and straightforward. I only use android auto and the connection is stable. I use its aux cable to connect to the car’s stereo system. During driving the context is clear to read. I only use it for long journey so the suction mount is very convenient as I can dismount it during daily.
Customers service: great. They respond quickly and gave me some advice of how to install it.
Considering with its price, it worth buying if you have an old car and need a screen for easier road trip.
I read the reviews for this wireless Apple (& Android) CarPlay which encouraged me to buy this. There happened to be a lightening deal that reduced the price to 100 which gave it a reasonable price tag to boot! It worked straight away out of the box after following the instructions. The built in speaker is clear enough for instructions, but connecting to the car stereo using the FM signal did work well. Longer term I may look to using the ‘AUX’ cable as this will further enhance the quality of sound. The window mount is OK but not as strong as others that I have. I think that the dashboard mount would be best but the curved leather dashboard in my car would be badly marked if I were to do this. It is great to have Apple CarPlay which I can switch between vehicles easily. Great piece of kit which will hopefully stand the test of time!
I recently purchased the Wireless Car Stereo for Apple Carplay & Android Auto, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! This car stereo has truly transformed my driving experience.
First and foremost, the 7” touchscreen is responsive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through various functions. The inclusion of both Apple Carplay and Android Auto is a game-changer, as it allows me to seamlessly connect my phone and access all my favorite apps, music, and navigation right on the screen.
The Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity ensures a stable and quick connection to my phone, and I love the hands-free calling feature. Siri integration is a fantastic addition, making it safer to send messages and make calls while driving.
The multimedia player delivers crisp sound, and I appreciate the AUX and FM options as well. The GPS navigation is accurate and reliable, helping me get to my destinations without any hassle.
One of the standout features for me is the Airplay functionality, which allows me to stream content from my phone to the car’s screen effortlessly.
Overall, this Wireless Car Stereo has exceeded my expectations. It’s a versatile and feature-packed system that has greatly enhanced my driving experience, making it safer and more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their car’s audio and connectivity options.
The windscreen of my car is rather small, and everywhere I tried to install blocked too much view.
The suction bracket attaches to the top of the device, so I couldn’t attach it to my dash. If the suction bracket could’ve been attached to the back or the bottom, I may have been successful in installing this device.
I didn’t have any ‘flat’ surface to use the dash bracket. Most of my dash is curved and shaped, so there was nowhere that the bracket was fully in contact with the dash.
I can’t comment on the device as I didn’t turn it on, but it felt of decent quality. Hence the four stars.
I had never considered the availability of this type of device until it was recommended to me. So glad I bought it. I’ve got an old mini that I don’t want to replace in the next few years but have been increasingly frustrated using my phone for sat nav. Since it’s always in a cover case, I put off finding a holder for it that would mean taking in and out. So this device is perfect for me, I get a cheap thrill each time get in the car. It’s currently attached by suction to windscreen, although comes with alternative fittings. Set up was relatively simple and the instructions are clear. I used the USB port and BT to connect. I had a few teething issues as my iphone kept defaulting to the existing BT connection with my car during set-up. I’ve used it for a few weeks now, and never had any issues connecting. It automatically picks up relevant apps from your mobile to display and it’s simple to navigate the touchscreen. I can now listen to whatsapp messages read out while driving. The main reason for purchase was for sat nav, which is making life so much better (when you have an older car). I listen to a lot of audiobooks so love having these more easy to access. Overall, I wish I had known about this type of product years ago. I also have no concerns about leaving it in the car. Definitely recommend this product.
I already have the earlier version of this which I find great. Having just purchased a motorhome I wanted another touch screen carplay device for that vehicle and was pleasantly surprised that the model had been improved and was also cheaper.
The set up is incredibly easy and takes only a minute. Plug it into your power source pair it by Bluetooth with your phone choose Apple or Android and that is it. Everything you do on your phone is on the screen. And what a good screen it is. Great quality, 7″ which isn’t too big (you CAN go too big on other devices). Touch screen is responsive as well. I like that there is just the one lead (power) cluttering your dash nothing else.
I use it for the SAT NAV mainly and the built in speaker is good enough quality for me but of course you can pair it with the inbuilt vehicle audio system just as easily.
As with the other version I have the 2 types of mount are great quality, you have a sucker mount to attach to the windscreen and a sticky mount (with spare sticky pad) for attaching to the dash (my preferred method). You even get little adhesive cable clips and a plastic tool to push the wire into your dash crevices. keeps it all very tidy.
A couple of other points . I like that the screen has a top overhang so that it helps protect it from glare, easier to read.
You can make and receive calls with the voice control and you aren’t risking the wrath of the police and the penalty points associated with using your phone.
It’s Wireless Carplay – That is what is wanted.
Whilst I have used Waze and Google Maps for navigation for quite a while in my car using it on my phone it is a quite hard given the small size of my mobile screen.
I recently hired a car which had built in android auto connectivity and it was great so I looked to see if there was something similar that I could retro fit in my 10 year old car… I found a number of products but chose this one because of the positive reviews and it was also available with a 20 off voucher (others had 10 discounts).
It was easy to setup and install, it works like a dream and has not thrown up a single error in the past week of using it including a trip to the isle of man. The sound from the unit is fine although I also got it to connect via aux output to my car stereo system, via Bluetooth to my car and via the radio link method.
The internal speaker works fine for me. I can choose between Google Maps and Waze easily, There are plenty of other features that would take too long to describe in this review.
Overall its a great product and the only disadvantage compared to having android auto being built into the car is the extra cable needed to power the device from the cigar socket (not an issue). The big advantage is I can put the screen wherever is most suitable for me.
I would certainly buy this product again, in fact I properly will to install one in my wife’s 20 year old Corsa!
I bought the for my Citroen Grand C4 Picasso as it doesn’t come with Apple Play support and the buil-in screen of car is not very user friendly. The connection was straight forward. It’s WiFi based connectivity. You can go the phones settings and select compatible apps to be placed on this touch screen device. It came with a suction mount as well as a semi-permanent base with 3M adhesive. The screen still comes off this semi-permanent base for secure storage. The speakers on this unit are quite strong. I mainly use it for navigation. It came with an Aux cable to connect to your cars input, should you may need so. It also came with a reversing camera that I didn’t install as my car has a built in reserving camera.
I’m really impressed with the Carplay, I use it with my Samsung phone. Set up was a very easy process, even for someone of advancing years, and once set up, it connects to my phone automatically. The screen is a good size making maps etc. easy to see.
I can use many of the apps from my phone, such as BBC iplayer, which means that I can now listen to podcasts and digital radio. I have an old car so this is quite a bonus, it’s much cheaper to buy this device than upgrading to a new car.
Digital radio pauses when using the navigation device so you don’t miss anything. This morning I set off to visit a local business using Google maps and the device told me that it may not be open when I arrive, a really useful asset.
Messages pop up so I can pull over to read them if I think they’re urgent and I can ask Google to call someone on my contacts list.
I bought this Carplay to replace a satnav for which I am charged 45 per year for updates, the charges have just increased again, so I will actually save money now I have this device. Now that I’ve mastered the basics, I’m looking forward to exploring other uses for it.
Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto Carplay with Rear Backup Camera, 7 Inch Portable Car Stereo Radio with Bluetooth 5.0, Car Radio Receiver with Touch Screen, Hands-Free Calling,AUX/FM/GPS/Airplay.
Excellent Carplay device. Just plug and drive (in less than 5 minute setup)! I connected it to an Android phone wirelessly.
The device is a solid build. The product contains a 7″ screen device with a useful antiglare cover. It arrived with a rear camera (I did not test this as I already have a camera installed), two holders – a monitor base, a suction windscreen mount (an additional display holder with a long handle – good to have option). To my surprise I found it also will connect to an old windscreen mount (I used an old Garmin holder and it worked – just had to swap over the fitting from the long handle instead). The power cable (with a very long wire), spare adhesive template for affixing the monitor base stand, auxillary audio cable. The user manual is well written with clear instructions.
The carplay device was extremely easy to setup. I used the suction mount. After adding the carplay to an android phone – using bluetooth, it immediately found and used the wifi connection and connected to my android phone. It straightaway showed several apps/features available on the carplay device (please see images). Easy access to maps, music, telephone, google assistant and apps icons next to a large navigation display. It also had space for Youtube music alongside the navigatino screen. I could close music app and have a larger area only for navigation on the entire display. Google maps immediately loaded with precise location (dependent on mobile device). Searching for a location brought up a search tab on the android phone which I found very useful as it is much easier to type on the mobile device when sitting in a car.
Interstingly it also had Sygic navigation in the carplay. It worked in sync with the android phone which is an added bonus! Also I could open communication apps.
I tested both google map navigation and Sygic for navigation. They both work perfectly well on the carplay. It also displayed traffic conditions enroute. Speed limits were very clear and handy. The added feature of this carplay device is the option to use its own onboard speaker, FM transmitter or auxillary cable to connect to your car stereo. Navigation instructions were loud and clear from the carplay itself. I find this a very useful feature as it will free up the car stereo for music (and having to choose between the music/ navigation instructions). It also has apps to go through communications such as Viber, Whatsapp.
Most interesting feature is the availability of google assistant to search for locations for navigation avoided the need for typing the location into the phone. A simple instruction “go to ……….” brought up the options available and made choosing options easily without the need to pick up the phone (please see video).
Other features in settings include options to set a screensaver, wallpaper, language and factory reset. An option to use the device with Apple devices is also available.
I could easily setup the carplay device and use it in less than 5 minutes. No hassle connections. Once setup the android mobile started connecting automatically on every journey.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the convenience and functionality of Wireless CarPlay, and I must say that it has completely transformed my driving experience. Being able to seamlessly connect my iPhone to my car’s infotainment system without the need for cables has been a game-changer.
Wireless CarPlay is a remarkable innovation that elevates your driving experience to new heights. Its easy setup, seamless integration, enhanced convenience, and improved safety make it an indispensable feature for any tech-savvy driver. Whether you’re a daily commuter or a road trip enthusiast, Wireless CarPlay ensures that you stay connected and entertained while keeping your focus on the road ahead. I highly recommend Wireless CarPlay for its exceptional performance and the unparalleled convenience it brings to the driving experience.
Wireless CarPlay is incredibly straightforward. Once you have a compatible iPhone model, the connection process is as simple as enabling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your devices. From there, the wireless connection is established automatically whenever you enter your vehicle, eliminating the hassle of plugging and unplugging cables. The ease of setup and connectivity is impressive, allowing you to get on the road quickly and effortlessly.
Very Highly Recommended for all drivers on the road.
Considering the fact that I spent quite a lot of time in the van and also some of my colleagues it was quite annoying the fact that I couldn’t connect my iphone and for this reason I have decided to invest a bit of money and after I had to look at what options do I have came across this screen which was looking promising so I decided to give it a try.
I think is I cannot say to much about the installation process because I have asked the the guys from the service to do it but from what I can see the whole process was not very complicated.
In terms of built in quality, the whole set is quite okay and it stays properly on the dash board even though where I usually drive it is quite bumpy.
The connectivity with my iphone is straightforward, once I get inside of van it automatically connects and I can access all the functions of my phone using this screen which I like the fact that it has a bit of protection against the light so even though when there is direct sunlight I can still see what is displayed on the screen.
Related to the touch screen performance, because while I drive I’m not allowed to touch my phone I’m using only this screen to tap to answer phone calls or mainly to use the navigation and so far I didnt experience any lag or issues so for all these reasons I am happy with the functionality and performance of the product.
This was bought to go in a motorhome which doesnt have a screen let alone the luxury of Apple Carplay, i dont have it yet so have tested it in my car.
I am seriously impressed, if i can get the videos to upload then you will see it boots up when the ignition turns on and in about 15 seconds you get the screen, just press “Apple Carplay” and it goes to another screen for a few seconds and then connects to the last phone it was connected to. So in total maybe 30 seconds max to get going and most importantly you dont have to touch your phone at all, just the screen once.
Then you have all the functions and features of ACP exactly the same as in my car that has it although i have to use a cable in my car, i wont in the Motorhome thanks to this little beauty!
It comes with two options for mounting, either a suction cup for the windscreen or a big sticky pad for sticking to the dash (there is a spare of these too).
The power cable goes into the cigarette lighter socket and has a very long cable so im sure will be fine when the MH arrives and there is even a plastic tool for inserting the cable in the gaps.
The sound links with your car Bluetooth via the unit to play your audio through the car speakers.
VERY impressed with this after looking at loads of options, the fact that the instruction manual isnt 3 inches square and it is completely legible is a big win for these types of devices, although it didnt take much instruction to connect it up – cant wait to get my motorhome now !!
