I was helping a friend fit this, apparently, same model and we had all sorts of difficulties – in fairness, due to the strange mirror fitting in his car, rather than the dash cam mirror. The problem was that the power connector was a right angled USB mini B – which could only fit one way and fouled the existing mirror surround. Knowing this I bought, what I thought was the same device for my wife’s car on the assumption that I may have the same problems. When the device arrived it has a different power connector ( USB C – which can be connected either left or right facing) – so no problems fitting, other than the stress associated with hiding the cables !
Once fitted the set up was simple and the visibility was vastly improved (wife’s car is a small hatchback and the fitted mirror was tiny) – the guide lines appeared when reverse selected and made reversing up to a barrier, or another car, a doodle.
I have no complaints and would happily recommend this product.
Update – two issues noted after initial fitting – memory card provided was 32gB capacity – description said 64 gB provided – contacted Jansite (Jenny) – new card promised – arrived today ( 4 days later)
Also realised that the rear view was NOT mirrored ie: view was what camera saw as opposed to reverse image as normal mirror – asked Jansite for advice and problem easily resolved by changing one setting.

Very pleased with the camera only thing is they supplied a 32gb card not a 64gb as advertised which isn’t big enough for the 1hour journey. The play back quality was excellent.
I recently purchased the car mirror dashcam and so far, I’m quite impressed with its image quality. One of the standout features is the included SD card, which is a nice bonus as many other dashcams don’t come with one.
Installing it in my mitsubishi L200 was relatively easy, thanks to the ample cable length provided. The mirror clips over the existing mirror seamlessly, with the cables neatly tucked away. However, after about a month of use, I encountered an issue with the reversing camera, which became temperamental and eventually stopped working altogether.
Additionally, I noticed a bluish reflection when the screen turned off in mirror mode, which was a bit bothersome. Despite these setbacks, the dashcam offers clear picture quality and is easy to use. it’s a good product with some notable features, but it’s worth noting these potential reliability issues – it’ll come in very handy in the future and continues to functio
Really impressed so far with the quality of the image. The included SD card is a bonus – most others don’t include one.
Fitting was fairly easy (Citroen Dispatch) and there was plenty of cable (10m) to reach from the rear of the vehicle, the mirror clips over the existing mirror with the cables tucked up behind the headlining.
I had a couple of queries but these were answered promptly (a day or so – which bearing in mind the replies came from China) and were helpful.
Overall a great product, although I haven’t tested in very low light – the daylight images are clear even on the lowest setting (1080)
Edit: the company sent me out a replacement camera which works great and the product no longer has any issues
I’ve had this for around a month and from fitting I hadn’t had any issues and was happy with the product. But after a month all of a sudden the reversing camera was temperamental and all of a sudden now doesn’t work at all no matter what I do.
Really good quality picture. The vision at night is better than normal eyesite. I would recommend this to anyone.
