I’m honestly shocked and amazed for how cheap this item is, but for how high-quality and how good this item is, it’s a steel for the price! Highly recommend this product ! My streams now look amazing
I bought this with the intention of starting to create content. I’ve been using it in the evenings as a light currently as the RGB modes have such wonderful colours.
Definitely a good purchase.
The tripod is sturdy and tall, and easily supports the weight of the ring light with a phone mounted inside. There was no wobble, and the gooseneck phone mount helps with easy positioning of the phone to the right angle.
The light itself is bright enough for reasonably close work – I used it about 1.5m from the subject and this gave us a result good enough to use for printing greetings cards from, without unsightly shadows. It used to be alot of hassle to set up for out greetings card photos, but now its a breeze. We will also use this for social media posts and I’m happy with the results I am already getting.
The three white modes give me the effect I want when shooting, but the colours are very exciting too – and can even be used to paint the walls with coloured light for an interesting backdrop – or you can turn your face green if you fancy that !
The included bluetooth remote for shutter operation paired with my Android phone at the first attempt, and worked without having to do any complex setup.
I’m not sure what to do with the mini tripod that comes with the package – maybe that is for desktop use, so I’ll have to clear some space.
Overall I’m very happy with this product as well as the support provided by the seller via the included customer service card email address in the package.
Good priced ring light, does everything it says it does. Would definitely buy again. Perfect present for a keen photographer or someone who takes a lot of selfies! Comes with a lot of extras etc a small tripod and a Bluetooth shutter button.
Cons:
The wire for the plug is quite short
The bendable stand for phone was very very stiff
The ring light itself does not tilt up or down, just twists side to side.
The buttons can be quite confusing as some light settings can be changed with arrows and some can’t
The legs at the bottom don’t click into place and make the light slightly uneven sometimes.
Shutter button frequently disconnects from Bluetooth, you have to switch it on and off again
USB plug in, No USB plug you have to have your own plug.
