Makes it easy to feed my cat on a diet. Very easy to use timer dial and my cat can’t open it. The only downside is it constantly ticks, which is usually fine because I have other sounds drowning it out.
This is very good to use. You can go out knowing that you have set up either for your cat or dog so that they will not miss a meal so you can stay longer out. Seller is very good. Recommend him also recommend this item
I needed this for being gone half the day and it worked well. It opened when it was supposed to. I cleaned it very easily. I read the instructions and it worked as described. It’s helpful when. you are not home to feed your older dog. I use this when I work.
The only issue we had was that the little red line for one of the timers came off? It’s like a sticker or something, but there is a little indent where it is supposed to be so we just used a marker to fill in that indent. Just a minor inconvenience, but otherwise no other complaints!
I thought this worked different then it does but still works well. There is 1 timer per side and only fits enough food for 1 pet per side.
I thought I could put 2 helpings in for both of my babies but can’t. Also once the timer goes off it stays open until I reset the timer or shut them.
Overall the product works well and is good and can stay cool or cold for a pretty long time if needed.
Rating this on past ones I’ve had as I’ve not yet even taken it out of its box. Others like this have been excellent value for money, handy for feeding your pet when your going to be out.
That’s it. It isn’t fancy, it doesn’t have scheduling or any machinery to dispense food, but it does fulfill a very simple need.
Each timer takes 2 AA batteries, which for some slreason surprised me. I think I was expecting something self-powered by a spring like an egg timer, but perhaps that only works for short periods.
The only issue I have with this is for when it’s not being used. There is no on/off. Just the timer. And if the timer hits 0, the lid opens. The only way to store it without it eating up battery (I think) is to set it to zero and hold the lids closed while I put it back into the box. Even then, though, I’m not sure that there isn’t battery being used. So how do I know for sure if the batteries are still good when I go to use it? The most obvious solution is to just take the batteries out and put them in when needed—but for some reason the battery compartment covers are screwed in (this is a big pet peeve of mine for products that have no need to do that). So yeah, it’s a little annoying…but I’m probably being lazy about it, lol.
Turning the dials isn’t the most reassuring of sounds. It definitely sounds like you might be breaking it. However, I did test the timersultiple times at various hour settings and the lids worked just like they should.
So, if you don’t need anything particularly advanced and you want to keep it on the cheap, this is certainly an option to consider. I know we will be using it the next time we leave for a weekend so grandma doesn’t have to come over to feed anyone!
