The case was more hard work than expected it to be. It comes screws for everything and nothing is an easy click in. For tiding wires it has a whole section that’s hidden, a dream for perfectionists. Your pc looks really nice when it’s lit with minimum wires showing. I found the metal side piece a nightmare to get back on. The knack I’ve found is when it’s bent inwards near the bottom, use a small screwdriver to bend it up so it just slides in.
The hard drives also go in the hidden bit and you must remove a small section to fit them. The psu also goes in the hidden bit. For minimum wires showing make sure wires are running from the right side when threading through. This way they don’t go over the motherboard. I found the buttons at the front, the reset and power were sticking. I had to tighten one screw on the control panel and it worked correctly. The glass door you can take off, it had fitting at the side and magnets to keep it in place. The front and the top also come off.
I don’t know who thought of the rgb wiring but it can be a nightmare. Each wire goes in and is clipped in by a connector that goes to the rgb controller board. These can get disconnected and it’s a nightmare figuring out which one. If you pull more than 1 out it can take ages to figure out how all 6 light. I may have a look at this and see if an easier wiring way is possible. Overall with the hidden wires, it’s a good case. The only problem is nothing is easy and has to be screwed in. The glass door at the side with the magnets does give you easy access to that side of the case. The fans are quiet and the case also seems heavy and pretty sturdy.
Edit: an annoying] thing is if the metal back is off the glass door has to be lifted up more.
I can’t fault this case for the price . The fans were a little bit of a headache to get working . Unfortunately I was unable to figure it out so replaced them for others. Other then that I can’t fault I
Pros:
– the case looks good
– plenty of space for your cables / GPU / setup
– good ventilation / the included fans are good, silent and look great with the RGB
– relatively easy to setup, instructions were few but if you have build a PC before this shouldn’t be too bad
Cons:
– all the pictures on the adverts have the fans mounted on bottom and side, actual setup was top and side, so had to move all 3 top fans to bottom of the case.
– open vents with no mesh to stop dust! there are lots openings in the case for the ventilation, both bottom and side, which without a mesh will gather dust in no time! I solved the problem by buying a separate mesh + magnets and DIY, another 15 added to the build to ensure no dust!
– the mount points for the SSDs / HDDs (not tried) , was not great to remove / install , could have had a nicer setup.
– had no screws provided for the motherboard mounting, the ones from my previous case didn’t quite fit but luckly I had some others lying around that just about worked
Case looks great, pretty easy to set up, only downside was it was missing a case fan.. It says you receive 6 argb but only got 5, don’t know how to contact the seller without having to send the case back.
I Love this case even tho it is not come with fans , I brought some separately and I’m telling you I was able to fit in all six fans ,. This case is perfect for any game
The panoramic design is cool and suits the rgb fans, the case feels high quality and Ilovethe amount of space. Only problems are the screws are not organised straight out of the box making the installation a little long as you have to just pull out screws till you get the right one or spill them into a container. The fans get loud when the pc is running a large load and you need to be careful when opening the glass panel they have not got anything soft preventing you from scratching the side of the case a little if the glass panel is too open. Overall its a good case, I definitely recommend.
The main thing to note, this really is a difficult build. I’ve built dozens of PCs before, when friends want one built I just tell them ‘pick any ATX case you want’ and they’re all pretty much similar, but seriously this one took me some time. For those that have put together a case or 2 before, I think it’s worth the effort, but if this is your first build, I’d choose something else. Hard drive bracket confused me for some time, and there’s tons of fan cables going into a controller, controller goes into the CPU fan socket and the CPU fan also goes into the controller, which MUST be inserted into the right controller socket (RED) and a novice could easily end up plugging their CPU fan incorrectly so it’s not speeding up as the CPU heat increases. Each fan has a “spare” connector as if each one is going to the motherboard, as well as the ones that daisy chain them all together, but I think I’ll need to cut off all the spare cables since there’s so many. Since I’ve just built it, at the moment the controller is just hanging wildly so I’ll need to find a nice place to secure it (it has a sticky pad on it which is nice).
But yeah honestly I’m quite happy. Looks good and make sure to download whatever mobo software you need to control the fan colors & pattern (e.g. msi center). Just know what you’re getting into.
