It is easy to change the combination of the five cylinders, which, unlike cheaper locks are not made of fragile and easily broken die-cast aluminium. It also seems secure against trying to feel the correct settings. On cheap ones, the cylinders can often be turned under tension until a slight ‘give’ is felt, until all the correct digits are lined up and the lock can be opened. Also, of course, there are ten times as many combinations as the four-digit locks, so random attempts at opening stand a 1 in 100,000 chance of success, contrasted against 1 in 10,000.
Good bike lock for the price. It’s not going to deter a bike thief if they have the right tools to step your bike but would stop a passing chancer. It gives enough protection and you can’t expect much more from something this cheap. Also comes with clip to attach it to the cross bar of your bike. All in all worth it.
This bike lock is locked and unlocked with 5-digital password. You will never experience the frustration caused by missing/forgetting keys. The lock is heavy and sturdy. It feels pretty secure and durable. The lock cable core is made of high duty and wear resistant twisted steel cable that is encased in a PVC shell. The lock cylinder is made of zinc alloy, resistant from impacting and falling. The lock is designed for outdoor usage with weatherproof protection. It can be used in multiple scenarios (locking various gates, safeguarding outdoor item).
Happy with the quality of this bike lock. It’s light but sturdy and easy to set up the keys. Not heavy or bulky therefore it can easily fit anywhere. It comes with a holder to install it to the bike but I don’t think I will ever use it as I just keep it tied around the frame. Keys are sturdy and turn easily and they don’t disrupt each other when turning the keys. It comes with manual to show how to set up and reset the password. It was good enough to replaced my old one which was worn out.
