I purchased this for my son as he had a lot of ear wax stuck in his ear and it needed softening before syringing, we used this for a few days before he was due to have his ears syringed and it worked very well. My son can now hear a lot better. I will definitely use this again if my son has the same problem again.

My 3 year old was complaining of ear pain so took him to the gp. They said he has wax built up and advised to put olive oil in ear for 2 weeks. This olive oil is diluted but easy to use as it comes in the form of a spray bottle. For the quantity you get, the price isn’t justified.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's olive oil..

The “Baby Earol | Olive Oil Ear Spray” has truly transformed my approach to ear care. Its gentle formulation is not only suitable for babies and children but also works wonders for adults. This all-natural spray is easy to use and provides a soothing relief for clogged ears. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in the need for more invasive procedures. What’s even better is that it comes at an affordable price point, making it a practical choice for anyone dealing with excessive ear wax. Highly recommended for its effectiveness and versatility.

Baby Earol – Olive Oil Ear Spray arrived boxed in a little 10ml plastic spray bottle.
It has long shelf life – 3 years.

According to the description it is suitable for babies and children from 6 months.

It is easy to use and looses excessive ear wax well.

Not cheap taking in to account that its main ingredient is an oil olive.

Easy to use, safe, but a bit pricey.

The design of the product is perfect, The olive oil formula felt gentle on my son’s sensitive skin. It softened and broke up the wax effectively and with the spray pump you only need a little amount but it works for ear wax build up in children’s ears

I have tried everything attempting to remove wax from my 1 year olds ears, but this product is by far the most effective and less invasive that I’ve tried.
My daughter gets really bad wax buildup in both her ears and I’ve tried trying to put olive oil in her ears, however, if you have a toddler you know how difficult doing anything remotely like this is, when all they want to do is get away from you.
The bottle is so easy to hold and use and the tip of the bottle fits snug in the ear. It is also really compact so will fit in a changing bag with no problem.
The wax softened with the first use and was very easy to wipe away the wax with ease.
The pump doses just enough product to ensure a good coating in the ear, but not so much that the oil oozes out causing an oily mess.
As this is just olive oil, it has not caused any rash or redness to my daughters ear.
I would definitely recommend this oil as it does work and is safe to use.

As a parent, keeping my daughter’s ears clean and healthy is a top priority. When I noticed she was dealing with a build-up of stubborn ear wax, I decided to give this Olive Oil Ear Spray a try before resorting to syringing. After using it for a week, I’m pleased to say it worked nicely and we avoided a trip to the doctor.
The spray bottle delivers just the right amount of product with each use – not too much, not too little. The olive oil formula felt gentle on my daughter’s sensitive skin. It softened and broke up the wax effectively, without any irritation. Within a few applications, the blockage cleared and she was noticeably more comfortable.
The convenience factor is a major plus. The compact bottle fits easily in our diaper bag, so I can use it on the go as needed. The spray application ensures I get the solution directly into the ear canal versus trying to use drops. And the natural ingredients give me peace of mind compared to harsh chemical cleaners.
The only negative is the spray doesn’t have much impact on wax build-up beyond a mild blockage. For heavy, hardened wax, syringing may still be required. But for maintenance and preventing excess build-up, the spray kept my daughter’s ears clear.
Overall, I would recommend this Olive Oil Ear Spray as a safe, effective way to clean children’s ears without the hassle of appointments or overusing cotton swabs. It provided gentle everyday cleaning with minimal effort. The convenience and mild formula are perfect for keeping baby and toddler ears fresh and wax-free. A good alternative to consider before resorting to professional cleaning methods.

Earol sprays are always the best and easiest to use to soften ear wax. Just gently place the nozzle at the opening to the ear canal and press for a spray – done! No lying on a side and dribbling oil from a teaspoon in and no fiddling with a dropper pipette. Easy, quick and fuss free. We have used original Earol sprays for years now which are suitable for 1 year plus and find our teen is much more compliant and diligent about use than when we had a dropper bottle. He needs his ears micro suctioning at least once or twice a year.

The oil is great for softening wax but also soothes itchy ears prone to eczema. This child spray looks just the same as standard Earol but I did notice it is a mix of Olive and mineral oil and BHA ( which is an exfoliant). So, it is not pure olive oil like the standard Earol spray although I’m not sure why the ingredients are different – perhaps the mix of oils is better and safer for young children. The bottle holds 180 sprays which come out as a light mist and is suitable from 6 months, although I would only use on a young child after recommendation from a medical professional. The product is good for 3 years after first use. They spray comes with an information leaflet and is in a cardboard box but is unsealed so I always wipe the nozzle with an anti septic wipe before using just to be safe. Great product that saves a lot of tears and avoidance.

Good for kids and adults alike. Sprays easily. Gentle on the ear. I had hoped that maybe I could refill it once empty, as the spray action is super useful but there’s not that much in the bottle, but I’m not sure that will be possible, which is a shame. Pricey for what you get, but definitely useful for loosening wax.

I use olive oil drops on my daughter to stop her ears getting blocked. She has very narrow ear canals and even swimming she gets issues with her ears. Olive oil helps to keep her ears clear to minimise any issues. I generally use the pipet type that you do in the ear. This type however makes it easier to go into and guided into her ear properly. This has the same effect but I find this a lot less mess. Would get again.

I occasionally suffer from mild earache and have successfully eased this in the past with an olive oil dropper. It can be a little difficult to control how much I’m dropping in there however, with too much oil feeling rather viscous and gloopy.
When I spotted this Baby Earol on Amazon with a spray nozzle I decided to give it a try (although I’m slightly older than the published target audience of 6 months to 12 years). The dispenser delivers a fine mist of what feels like a lighter oil, moisturising the ear effectively without drowning it. It’s not the cheapest option, but I’m hoping that the metered dose (recommended weekly to keep ear wax at bay) will result in the small bottle lasting for a long time, with a shelf life of up to 36 months from first use.

I suffer from wax build-up and need my hearing for my profession. Olive oil is a usual softener to aid in breaking down hard wax build up. The trouble is applying it.

This solves the problem for me. I can apply it to my ear without cotton buds or other means.

You can apply a little more than you would a baby, but the method is the same, and if it’s safe for babies it’s not going to be damaging my ears with impurities.

I am sure it works well on children as well.

The design of the product is perfect. The claim is that olive oil softens wax. But I don’t think its anything other than olive oil, so for such a small quantity it quite pricey. So for that it gets 4 stars.

I use this light oil for myself as an adult although I am not planning on having my ears syringed. It helps clear my narrow ear canals of trapped wax and the spray bottle makes it much easier to get the oil into the ear than trying to use a dropper bottle, which I have found in the past to be messy. There is an instruction leaflet included in the box, which suggests using it once a week as a preventative measure to help stop wax building up again, which I will probably do now that I’ve found something that makes it easy. I have had no irritation using olive oil. The bottle is not full to the top but contains 10ml and its label states it expires in July 2026, so there is plenty of time to use it.
