How Long Does The Book Take To Complete

Your Story can be completed at your leisure. Capture photos at memorable milestones and update the book whenever you have spare time. It can be completed in just a few minutes per month.

Does It Come Gift Ready?

All Bibi & Beau books come in strong white cardboard boxes, meaning you can wrap them in your favourite gift wrap without worrying about them getting damaged.

When Is The Best Time To Buy The Book?

Unlike our pregnancy journals which are time specific, Your Story can be bought before the child is born or after birth. It makes a great baby shower gift, or also a new baby gift.

Are The Books Suitable For Boys and Girls?

Yes… all books are non gender specific, meaning they work for both baby boys and baby girls. We offer a range of colour and illustration options but the content in each book is the same.

What Size Photos Can I Use?

The photo slots in each book can be used with 4 x 6 and 5 x 7 photos. We personally think 4 x 6 photos look the best, but feel free to mix and match.

This is a lovely keepsake which would be a great gift for someone expecting a little one.

There are a good amount of pages to be able to showcase the little one growing. There are sections to write the memories next to the photos which is a nice touch as sometimes it’s hard to remember the details around a photo.

Documenting my child’s early years has always been something close to my heart. This baby memory book stood out in its thoughtfulness. With pages designed to cover up to age 5, it proved to be more than just a photo album. The gold foil stamped cover exudes a classic charm, sitting gracefully wherever it’s kept. Unlike some other memory books, filling out the pages took no more than a few minutes each week, ensuring no precious memory was lost in the hustleofparenting.

A book for the soul, it has so many details and awakens so many feelings and memories. I really like how everything is arranged in this book and I recommend it with confidence, a good idea because the child will have memories when he grows up.

My next door neighbour is expecting, and this was a perfect gift for her.

The book is amazing quality and is good to make memories to keep in it.

    I would recommend anyone!

I’m a firm believer of not only taking photographs, but keeping those photographs safe in printed format wherever possible – I’m also very much a person who will keep small momentos and keep sakes so that down the line myself or my little boy can go through those and it’s a Time Capsule of memories, so for me a book like this is something which I personally really really love.

The book itself is extremely lovely and very well designed, the spaces for notes, photograph, keep sakes, stories, and whatever else you deem to be important enough to keep altogether in one book.

I have nothing to say about this whatsoever, because for me, it’s not just about how good the product is. It’s about what this product all allows you to keep safe – and yes the fact that it is illustrated and the fact that it’s so well built and put together really really helps, but for me, it’s just such a simple product own that just allows you to just keep all those memories safe, and based on that I would massively recommend having one of these.

I read a quote once that has really stuck with me, and to when this review, I just like to share that with you all.

“For you it’s just a normal day, for them it’s their childhood” – I’m a big believer of this, and when I’m old and retired, I want my son to have lots of memories to fund for the look back on and this book will help me to add to those.

This is a really lovely book and contains every little detail you could think of. I bought this for a pregnant friend who was absolutely delighted with it. I did something similar for my daughter when she was little and it’s so lovely to look back on things that would have been long forgotten. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely book and is beautifully decorated, but it is a shame a couple of points let it down a little. The first, that the paper would be better if it was a little thicker. The second is that you cannot check the book is okay without destroying the box it comes in.

Even if I had been giving this as a gift, I would want to check that the book had no flaws beforehand. But then you would have no box to give it in. It would have been so much better if the box had a simple opening which could be re-closed.

I wish i could take more photos but the layout and design of this is a beauty to experience and should be done first hand.

First it comes really well packaged, it arrives in a sealed cardboard box in plastic wrap with a second plastic wrap around the book itself so the item will arrive pristine and last a long time if your still waiting for the birth.

Its written by a couple/pair who just noted everything you can think of. I dont want to spoil too much but it really is an EVERYTHING detail for both the baby and the family involved from family tree, about mum and the steps for the first 5 years of the child with plenty of space for details, photoes, notes and messages all lovingly illustrated in these shades of green which are pleasing to the eye.

You can tell this was made with love and attention with details you may not even think of and would love adding in over the years. Its good its so well made because its designed to last a life time and with how well laid out it is you know you’ll be flipping the pages for years to come.

The baby book arrived very well presented in a cardboard box, sealed with cellophane. Inside is the hardback book which is again protect with a plastic bag so the journal arrived in pristine condition. However, I did think it was a shame that instead of a cardboard box which you have to tear open it would have been better if it was a storage box for the journal which could be kept long term. That aside, the baby book would make a lovely gift at a baby shower since it really begins when the baby is born.

The book itself is a hardback book with beautiful wildlife / woodland illustrations on the front including brambles, a bunny, a bird, a bumble bee and a butterfly. It contains 136 pages which comprehensively covers your little ones first five years of life — it acts as a great prompt to diarise those precious moments and record them to look back at years later. It has lots of space to add your own photographs and there are also pages to add thoughts / stories. The square book measures 250mm x 250mm with a thickness of 2cm. It also features an olive-coloured ribbon so you can quickly get back to your previous page.

The book is split into chapters which cover family background, welcoming the baby into the world, height and weight charts, bringing the baby home, the first-year split down into months, spaces for handprints and footprints, years 1 to 5 and going to school. The sections are comprehensive and are thoughtfully laid out which makes it easy to fill in. There is also space to fit 4×6 and 5×7 photographs in the journal which is a lovely touch. The book is ideal for reflecting with your child when they are older.

It has an excellent format and the journal is beautifully illustrated throughout and presented on good quality paper which doesn’t bleed with the gel pens I use. I also like the addition of a storage pouch at the back of the book too. Priced at 19.99 at the time of reviewing, this is a lovely baby journal with nice presentation packaging which would make perfect baby shower gift for a mother to be or even for yourself. As a keepsake of yours and your little one’s first years together this is a really lovely — I would highly recommend it!
