I wore them once. Not sure they provide protection. They keep on slipping even though I thought my socks will stay put on silicon. I wear standard size 6 uk and I got medium

My left foot is smaller than my right, I bought a bunch of different heel pads to stop my left heel from slipping off and this works great! Works better than the fabric ones for sure.

I blister no matter what shoes I wear, but these are incredible! My new DMs tore my heels to pieces last weekend but wearing these yesterday not only protected the already damaged skin without irritation, but prevented any further damage. 100% recommended!

Treat myself to some beautiful, holographic Dr Martens and they’re a little tight and the stitching bar at the back was really rubby on my heel, took them to a cobbler to stretch and still the same… I just couldnt wear them.

I googled Dr Marten heel protectors and these came up, I was willing to give them a try after reading the reviews and I was so happy I did.

These allowed me to wear the boots all night with zero rubbing.

Then my son wore new rugby boots and got blisters on his heels so he put these over his plastered heels and was able to wear his normal shoes without pressure or rubbing on his blisters.

They are a great barrier and quite thick and don’t move.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrand new Docs and I’d struggled with heel blisters and was in agony. Wore these today for full 8 hours at work. Incredible. Absolute must buy for new boots if you’re in any kind of pain with them. Washed them after wearing and they seem to be in as new condition. Perfect!

I have had a pair DM shoes for about 4 years only worn in the winter months. At the start of every winter same results rubbing on my heels. So I seen these on the Amazon website and thought I will try them, what a result worn them several times with my DM’s and they work no issues at all ! I would definitely recommend them.

our 15 year old Son’s new school shoes were causing him pain and blisters. These silicone “socks” are brilliant. He was thrilled with the result. You just need to be careful putting them on and removing so not to tear and of course wash daily !

I’ve been struggling with blisters on the back of my heels from my wellies for years, and nothing I’ve tried worked until these! They don’t quite stay in place when I put my wellies on so they can feel weird to start with, but they certainly stop me from getting blisters so that’s all I wanted!
They are quite sweaty, so you wouldn’t want to keep them on for longer than you needed, but I just wash them in warm soapy water as soon as I take them off and I’ve not notice that they smell yet.

I damaged my heel pad in May this year and I have followed the doctor’s advice since then of rest, ice, and anti-inflammatories, but 5 months on, I am still experiencing a lot of pain and struggle to walk in the mornings or if I’ve been sat for long periods. As someone who tries to avoid seeing the doc, I searched for anything else I could do to help my foot before making another appointment. I came across these so I gave them a shot. I really wish I had discovered these months ago, as after two days of wearing them, I have seen some relief in my symptoms. I’m hoping that this will continue and I will finally be back to normal. I would highly recommend them to someone with the same issue.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThese were bought primarily to stop blisters occurring on heels and in that respect they have been fantastic! Definitely no blisters.
The stretch is fantastic and with 2 pairs per pack my partner and I have both been able to enjoy blister free life.

The protectors are a soft silicone, very flexible.

Unfortunately, there’s a downside. We both work long hours on our feet completing at least 15k (now blisterless) steps per day. However, we now have feet that have been rubbed raw, dried out and no matter what – the product causes a sweaty smell build up. The inserts and my feet are washed every day.

Overall yes it’s prevented blisters, but for me this is a new issue that I don’t enjoy.

Advice- works well for shorter periods of time, but remember to was your feed and the insert every night.

They were great for wearing a new pair of walking boots in as I notoriously get blisters in a certain spot.
If you are very sensitive/have sensory issues, you’ll be quite mindful of wearing them when you walk. Might not matter to some but it did to me. I thought they would be a little thinner and therefore less likely to be noticed when wearing. But as I say, I’m very conscious of how things feel so it could be just me.

Did assist with heal pain and stopped the rubbing I was experiencing. However do need to be careful with allowing the feet to breathe as noted feet came become sweaty in the heat which can cause maceration if not used correctly.

These will protect your feet from blisters, but they sometimes slip down. Good for wearing in DMs. Worn one pair a few times and it hasn’t broken yet. Fits on ladies size 6 (UK).

I purchased these to prevent blisters on heel. So far they have been very successful. No rubbing, no redness or friction heat build up or causing my feet to sweat. Very comfortable, hardly able to feel them on and they cushion the heels.
Hopefully will work just as well in the summer when feet are hotter in my trainers.
Definitely recommend trying them if blisters are a problem. I usually had to repeatedly purchase a well known make of heel blister protection/ prevention plasters so these reusable heel protectors will save me money.

    These are great!

I’ve suffered for years with shoes rubbing and causing blisters and bleeding, and have not been able to find a solution.

Thought I’d give these a go, and they are fantastic. My Converse caused me the worst blisters/bleeding, and I tried these with them. No blisters, no rubbing, nothing! I was a little skeptical because I thought they may move during wearing, or just not work, but they really do. I put them on first, then my pop socks on top, and they are perfect with no movement.

I will buy more so I’ve always got some! I highly recommend others who suffer the same as me to give these a go 🙂

I bought these after a friend recommended them to wear with my Dr Martens. I have been trying to break the boots in since 2018 and they have continually ripped my heels to shreds. I was somewhat sceptical as to whether these would work but decided to give them a try.
They are so worth it, I am now able to wear my lovely boots without any heel pain and with my skin left intact.
Not sure if they would help with other heel pain but they are doing exactly what I have bought them for. Brilliant.

Fells good quality, comfortable and easy to wear. Quickly warms to skin temperature, I wore these under socks to bed as I have been getting dry cracked feet. Although they are for use to wear – I did very quickly wear a hole though one upon second day of wear, I did expect them to last longer. Although I prefer wearing them to bed and use them for making my heels softer and keeping in moisture and also heel cream.

These have allowed me to get the most out of boots that would otherwise sit in the back of my wardrobe. They are very comfortable and do stay in place in the boot. I wear them both over and under socks and they work either way, but wearing them under your sock is probably best to avoid slippage. A great way to avoid blisters and expensive blister plasters, however they can end up making your foot feel a bit sweaty. They have a lot of cushioning and a gel like texture. They come covered in a sort of chalky dust to increase friction to keep them on, but after one wear and wash (I wash them in the sink to remove sock fluff), the chalkiness goes away which I’m not sure if it affects the use/product. Anyway, they are good and I use them for all my boots. Would recommend

Like the ease of use. I don’t think I’ve worn them enough time’s to judge the pain relief aspect, at least I hope thats the case.
The 1st 3 time’s the take getting used to obviously. Soft and squishy. Still had the pain, but can testify, I was able to walk much better. I have a wide foot so the top part could do with been slightly wider.
But overall I’m happy to keep and wear.

I had wounds in my heels and I was able to wear shoes thanks to these. They are really soft and I wear them with shoes that I think could cause blisters. After a whole day I start feeling the compression against my ankles which makes them less comfortable, but they do the job of preventing blisters.

If you use them each day they might not last very long. They are incredibly comfortable and stopped all blisters but they do split easily. Saying that it didn’t stop them from doing the job. Worth a shot as they helped massively. Just hope they last as could be expensive

Bought these last week as I have a lot of pain in both heels, they are soft, stretchy and breathable.
With the degree of pain I currently have, and after wearing them standing, full days at work, sadly I didn’t get the relief I was after. However if someone has moderate pain they may help. For me they offer more relief when I am home as I rest more in between.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI have a couple of shoes that I like, but could not wear, a case of heart ruling the mind!
Anyway I have tried various heal grips and comfort items, and I would say they had all failed, until these ones.
The silicon gel like items feel strange, but they work very well, protecting your heal from damage, and I say that after using them quite a few times now.
I am careful putting them on as I do not think they would cope with rough treatment and could tear.
The benefits of these are they are high on your heal, while at the same time they are also held in place under your heal.
I would not use without any kind of socks over them. I put them on next to my skin and socks over them and that works great for me.
Overall they have also proved in both use and monetary value .
I would recommend, but everyone has there own needs.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese are brilliant gel cushions for heels. They feel very comfortable and soothing and cooling. They work brilliantly with shoes apart from the top band being a little visible but unfortunately not so brilliantly with boots. I’ve tried them with two pairs of boots and the gel gathered up in a bunch behind the heel when trying to put the boots on. I expect they work better with looser fitting boots but I still think they are good. I’ll persevere with trying to keep them in place with boots as they make a lot of difference to heel pain.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersMy first impression was good, there was minimal packaging which helps the environment and always appeals to me. The bag the product was in was sealed but there were no directions as to how to open it. Once I had worked out how to get into it I was pleased that it was resealable to ensure the ones you are. It using are kept clean and dust free. On the plus side there was a warning about the danger of the plastic used to cover the grips being dangerous and I was pleased to see this as it would not necessarily have occurred to me of this danger. I was disappointed not to see anywhere on the outside what exactly the product was, except for a tiny line of print on the reverse under the barcode. The product looked quite average especially considering its price point.

My favourite feature of the product is not only that the heel grip area secures the heel, but the T part goes under the foot further preventing the movement of the grip which can be a problem with conventional heel grips. I also like the fact that it comes in different materials and colours which will help it to blend in with whatever footwear it’s used in.

The sticky film part is out of alignment on EVERY grip meaning that when you take them out of the bag they stick to everything and quickly pick up dust and fluff.
I would also prefer it to include instructions on use, I have never seen heel grips in this shape and wasn’t entirely sure exactly how to place them which took some trial and error and caused the eventual grips to be less than useful due to the fact they were not very sticky where I had needed to remove and replace them.
It would be helpful to know if it is possible to cut them to size or not or if indeed they come in an alternative size.
The product is an original idea and is good in theory, I think with some minor improvements such as better alignment of plastic and inclusion of instructions I would give this 5 stars instead of 4.

4.0 out of 5 stars Original idea for heel grip with protector and extra secure hold
