I used to be a county player, and even in my dotage can still play a mean game. These shuttles are an OK standard for beginner/improving players. The flight is more or less accurate with drive, drop, clear, fast drop and smash going where I wanted them to go99% of the time. Like all feather shuttles they won’t take a lot of abuse, even premium quality ones don’t last forever. Playing for an hour with a range of shots you’ll get 20-30 mins out of each shuttle, before giving them to the cats to play with, which is where my old ones go. Out of the tube I received there were a couple that were a bit iffy in their construction- feathers slightly out of line and binding not even, but they were ok for warm up, the rest of the tube was pretty uniform and well made. OK for knocking about with the kids or training, but I wouldn’t use them in competition as there’s too much variation in the weight and quality. Not bad for the price though and they still fly better than plastic ones.
These arw made good for the price. On each shuttlecock the feathers are evenly balanced and are a good quality feather. There were however some feathers that were a little disheveled and the binding around it the glue was a little stringy but was only on one shuttlecock. The photo attached is after 2 days of competitive training matches. These were smashed a few times with these and so far they have retained their shape and no feathers have been lost or broken. Overall, great for badminton training or friendly matches.
Good value, real feather badminton shuttlecocks – set of 12 which come in a cardboard tube (handy to store them in as well). My husband plays to a good standard each week with a team and he’s given these the thumbs up initially, compared to his regular brand (Carlton) and visually they are very similar …. the stringwork on these is maybe a little less precise compared to the regular brand but in every other way they are identical. On first impressions, playing wise they perform well but he hasn’t yet given them a match workout. He has a training session next week so I will update the review once he and his teammates have put them properly through their paces.
Im not a pro player but they do the job for the money paid, we used to of them in an hour as the 1st broke apart after 20mins or do
