Firstly, I love the look of this phone and its level of robust build and solid feel. So, they got that right.
Sadly, for me, the good news is over. This phone was s-l-o-w and felt like it was five years old because everything takes a few extra seconds to open. I don’t consider myself particularly impatient but it’s been painful.
However, I could get used to the speed if it wasn’t for the fact the SD card ‘unmounts’ constantly which makes the added storage unviable and the phone mostly redundant for anything other than calls. I have to use the pin tool to pop it back out and in again at least 3x a day! I resorted to a new card in case that was the problem but got the same issue. I even reset the phone and started over in case of a software conflict.
Basically, for me, this phone is a whole lot of regret wrapped in a nice case. I’ve bought other ‘cheap’ unbranded phones and they have been fine but this one failed for me.

Since my original review, I have been contacted by Blackview. They dealt with the problem straight away with no fuss and I have therefore chosen to edit my rating. Why? Because sometimes technology fails all of us but you can’t beat good customer service.
Brilliant phone easy to use. But I can’t get the Instagram app on it. If anyone knows how to do this that would be great. Won’t download off play store says not compatible
