This is the second box we’ve bought of these and we all love them. They keep my hands warm on dog walks and nights out and keep my daughter’s hands warm on cold mornings walking to the bus stop. They really do last a good 8 hours – especially in your pocket.
These hand warmers take five minutes to heat up so open them five mins before going out and the will be nice and warm. We have been buying them for a few winters now, really good product, will definitely buy again. good fast delivery.
It just works as described! You can use it in less than 5 minutes after opening… and can warm a lot your hands/shoes/pockets. We used with child and they loved to use during snow sessio
Purchased for my wife and she loves them. These handwarmers are really great and stay toasty warm for 10 hours and even more. Packs are being added to family Christmas stockings as little extras.
These handwarmers are a great product. I bought them to use when my playing golf but they can b devised anytime your hands are cold and stay hot for 10-12 hours
Took a pair of these to the football last night. Activated them at 6pm, returned home 9:30pm and they could have gone on for another couple of hours! Just the job for cycling too!
Lasts a while if you shake the packets every now and then. Use around my ankles when driving during my job. Can get a bit too hot if clothing items aren’t thick enough. Will be purchasing more
Good price for a multi pack. Ive bought these ready for winter as i work outside. They last a number of hours. Just pop them in your gloves whilst working in those frosty mornings.
Bought a large box to ease anxiety when travelling to Iceland.
Each individual pack has two small handwarmers which activate once opened. They take ages (30m) to properly warm up,but then are very warm and stay warm for hours, although less than the packet says in my opinion.
Yes it’s a big box, but expiry isn’t for a couple of years, and much better value than 1 a pack you see them for at most places.
I work in a shop were the doors are always open! So u are my new must have for the winter period 8hr use is perfect it covers my day and never feels wasted
Got these for my mum for her cruise to northern Norway to see the Aurora since she gets stiff hands. She said she hadn’t expected it to be quite that cold and thought she’d be fine with her thermals, layers etc. Luckily, I’d insisted she bring these and she says they were a lifesaver especially when out Aurora hunting- two in the gloves and two in the shoes. They didn’t overheat her, she was still uncomfortable from the cold but I suspect she would’ve had a much more miserable time without these. So if you’re planning a trip like that, make sure you bring handwarmers!
I’ve tried several different brands of similar hand warmers over the last few years. My hands can easily go white and numb when leaving a warm house for the cold outdoors, especially while running, when my gloved hands are exposed to the cold air. All the warmers have done a good job of helping to keep my hands warm in cold weather. I put them inside my gloves. These hand warmers weigh about 50% more than previous ones I have bought. i.e. about 33g as opposed to about 22g. This is very generous of Bramble and must give out more heat for longer, which should be an advantage. However, I have found that the heat is sometimes a bit too much and can feel uncomfortably hot against my skin. I’ve never noticed that with previous hand warmers. I’m still pleased with my purchase though and it is not a big issue.
So, I opened the pack and exposed a pair to the air as per the instructions. Took exactly 5 minutes to warm up to what I would call hand warming temperature.
I placed one on the table next to me and carried the other one around to see what would happen.
After 30 minutes the one I was holding was too hot for me to keep in my hand. Ok if you keep moving it around however against skin in the same place it was too hot, just. The one on the table was even hotter.
After 3 hours the one in my hand started to cool, enough that I could keep it in my hand for prolonged periods. The one the table was still pretty hot. I can only surmise that my skin had absorbed some of the heat from the one in my hand.
After 4 hours both were starting to get fairly cool, not what you would call hot, barely warm.
I bought these to (hopefully) go see my daughter perform in an outdoor play soon in a large tent and wanted a way to keep me and the missus warm. These will do the trick perfectly.
Hope this review helps.
Stay safe
David 🙂
