Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III – Cross-Gen Bundle (Exclusive to k4s.uk)
ADAPT OR DIE IN A FIGHT AGAINST THE ULTIMATE THREAT
In the direct sequel to the record-breaking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against the ultimate threat. The ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov is extending his grasp across the world causing Task Force 141 to fight like never before.
Combat means making choices — different loadouts, different paths through the mission. In addition to the signature, cinematic Call of Duty campaign missions, Modern Warfare III introduces open combat missions that provide more player choice. There is no one-size-fits-all solution – it is your choice whether to take the stealthy approach or go loud taking on any and all foes.
IT’S TIME TO SETTLE OLD SCORES AND START NEW ONES
Modern Warfare III celebrates the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty with one of the greatest collections of Multiplayer maps ever assembled – both fan favourites and all new ones. All 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) have been modernised with new modes and gameplay features and will be available at launch to get everyone started, while over 12 all-new core 6v6 maps will fuel post-launch live seasons.
Modern Warfare III will also launch with new Ground War maps boasting innovative play spaces and the epic return and evolution of the popular War Mode that first debuted in 2017’s Call of Duty: WWII.
ALL NEW OPEN WORLD ZOMBIES
For the first time, team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of the undead in the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) tells a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features and secrets to discover. Ready up for an open world PvE survival experience against some of the biggest enemies in Call of Duty history.
I do love the repetitive Call of Duty FPS – but like this one, bits of everything in it, particularly like the zombie multiply as well. Same COD formula but still kicking butt and taking names
Sooo many game modes, challenges and special events with new free content being added all the time, you will be able find your own style of playing from casual to hardcore.
‘Zombies’ for example is enjoyable , and a breath of fresh air for me personally as you no longer have to worry about other players sniping the exfil etc. Players tend to help each other out with missions or reviving you rather than trying to send you ‘back to the lobby’. You can also play ‘Zombies’ solo until you feel confident teaming up with other online players if that’s your preference.
The MWIII main ‘story campaign’ is a bit short as per, but there are rewards to be found which gives it some replay value.
The game can be buggy at times as updates are rolled out which can be frustrating ,but devs are usually quick to fix /tweak issues.
You will need a fair bit of disk space to install this initially and major updates are usually massive !
As for folk saying the online experience isn’t suitable for kids at times , correct that’s why its pegi 18. Any online game can have its share of toxic players though, its not a unique problem to COD.
As usual , you can buy skins/operator packs, if you want but its not necessary and you are never pressured into buying anything unlike some games. There are loads of weapons/attachments/gear etc that you can earn in game.
(Its also worth noting that by linking your Amazon account (Amazon play), you can often get free weapon/operator packs.
Overall enjoyable and good value for money , just be prepared to lose hours in game though !
Not as exciting as some of the previous incarnations, for me not quite as good as the original MW3 but that’s just my opinion some of the online multiplayer games are good though
