The Cottage Kitties are a palliative care nursing unit. Cats will have accidents on sofas here and this cover provides protection. We can wash off the urine & the cover will tolerate this but the scent from the male hormone will still remain , the cover is very robust.
Arrived as promised on the day, very easy to install. It is definitely non slip on the sofa side. A little slippery on the seating side, but we like it and so does our little diva dog.
I have this product in two sizes and colours. It keeps the cat pee off the couch. Even if the pee has been there for a while (overnight) then it slowly absorbs into the cover, but does not leak through the backing, which is exactly what we needed for a night time stealthy couch-peeing feline.
I am disappointed that there are not more size choice. I bought a one for a 3 seater unfortunately it doesn’t fit neatly, to big. The 2 seater would have been too small. Had it fitted I would have given it top marks. Don’t think I would buy another one.
I was impressed with the fit and appearance. Would of been 5 stars, but the only downside is it staying in position. In normal use it would be fine, but I have an active dog bounding on to it, so it needs repositioning every day.
Love these covers, cover my new leather sofas brilliantly. One of my new sofas is a double electric recliner and even when reclining the cover stays in place. I do not use the elastic band to hold them in place as I don’t want indentation on the sofas
These covers are amazing quality.
I’ve bought several different covers to protect my sofas from my cats claws and fur. These are the best so far! Not the cheapest but worth the money. Love the rubbery underside which gripps the sofa, stopping it moving, I dont even need to use the elastic straps.
Very happy with them and the pale green colour is so bright against my dark brown sofas.
This works well, it can be washed easily and drives relatively quickly. It does feel a little plastic’y but it’s good value and has worked well to protect the furniture
So far, impressed with this product. Our sofas are covered in velour and these covers stay in place even with energetic grandchildren and slouchy husband. Have yet to test the waterproof ability and hope I never have to but with a cavapoo puppy about the place I fear it won’t be long!
Colour was a little on the bright side, I’d hoped it veered more towards navy but it was described as sapphire so I can’t hold that against the seller.
