Only had for 24 hrs but seems to work well. It’s been in my daughter’s bedroom which is around 16m and it’s collected a decent amount of water so far. For the price I’d definitely recommend.
This little dehumidifier has made such a difference in our house.Drying clothes that no longer smell and it really takes the moisture out of the air.Cheap to run and easy to maintain. We have brought two as their so good.
Used this to keep the condensation low whilst using my tumble dryer and cooking works wonders and a convenient size to not take up much space. Easy to empty glad I bought it and was a reasonable price!
I found though this unit works ideally in smaller and warmer rooms. It explains this in the instructions. Maybe bigger might be better but for my convenience and just for laundry days it’s portability suits me so I’m pleased with this. If you have to address Mould and Condensation during the colder months certainly worth a try.
I’ve been skeptical about using a dehumidifier they can be very expensive but this offers a low energy usage solution in a compact and elegant design. Simplicity in itself.
This really is a very useful device for our house. We have other devices from this company, including a slightly larger dehumidifer on a whote colore and square design.
Decided to get this additional one for the livingroom as the black color and rould design makes it vlend in better and I am very happy I need up getting it as it does a great job in taking a large amou t of water out of the air from our livingroom.
I wish the that the water tank could have been removed by pylling it out, rather then unscrewing it but it is not a mejor impediment to be honest.
Purchased this for my small living room and as you can see just after 1 day it has already collected some water. So far it is doing what it has been purchased for and taking out the excess moisture from the room. Very light sound that you forget about. Time will tell how effective it is in preventing damp and other issues but soo far soo good.
I found mould on some electrical gear (PA speakers) I store in a smallish bedroom.
After using this dehumidifier for about a month I found for the first few weeks it removed an inch of water in the reservoir every 2 to 3 days.
This slowed as the moisture present in the room diminished and as the temp dropped.
The build is plastic..and needs to be treated with some respect. However it is certainly working.. Good value for 40
I bought this small, 23W dehumidifier with the hope of aiding in the drying of washed clothes. Its compact size is definitely a plus, making it easy to fit in tight spaces. After about 20h, I noticed that it did gather some water, as shown in the picture, not much though. However, its performance was not as impressive as I had anticipated. While it’s not exceptionally powerful, given its low wattage, this was somewhat expected. On the upside, considering its affordable price and diminutive size, it’s not a bad deal. This dehumidifier might be more suited for small, localised applications rather than heavy-duty moisture removal.
Bought this on off chance ,after reading reveiws and to help with laundry drying. I will say I was suprised by how small unit was but was even more suprised by how well it worked. After closing door of small bedroom and leaving runnig overnight found it had extracted around half a litre of water from the air in room and had no sign of moisture on windows and while washing wasn’t completely dry it only took an hour or so to finish drying. I would say if you have a small room to use for drying things this unit will help keep damp and mould at bay for not a lot of money.
It’s small but dose the job
When it arrived I was a bit shocked on how small it was but after using it to help dry my washing was quite surprised
This product works really well a little noisy perhaps but really does a good job in drying and as a byproduct helps the heating in that room work better we had a issue with our first one but the company sent replacement really quick and was up and running within a couple of days great service good produc
Great product – good quality and easy to use, but it is small and it won’t change your life if you have real issues with damp. So far, mine has collected roughly 100ml each night in my cold Victorian flat. It’s great for what I need it to do, which is just to help keep mould off my exposed hanging clothes, but invest in something bigger if you need it to make a real difference.
There is nothing wrong with it but if you are expecting this to drastically reduce the humidity of a room it doesn’t really do that, well, not according to my hygrometer.
It does collect water and it does help but if you really want a powerful de-humidifier this isn’t it. The best thing it has going for it is it is very low wattage so you can keep it on all the time and it doesn’t use much energy. It’s also pretty good at helping out when you have wet washing in a room.
I received this today and I must say I like it, it’s very quiet and collecting water from my kitchen while cooking and my clothes seem to be drying quicker than normal. I gave it 4 stars as it comes with a two pin plug so had to pop out and get a adaptor for it, but other than that I’m pleased with it.
-extra honest reviews
It keeps the place bone dry and also allows us to dry out clothes inside. What shocked us the most is the ability to remove smells. Within a week this little thing transformed our smelly caravan into a breathe of fresh air.
We recently went on holiday and stayed in a much larger caravan. We regret not taking this with us as it could have saved us the smell of damp.
These units are VASTLY superior to my previous ones. They’re almost silent. They look kewl. And they suck out TWICE the water from the air that my others did. I have to empty mine more than once a week. Before, it was every ten days or so.
Yes, they’re a few pounds more than the cheap white ones. But if they last the distance, the extra money will be well worth it.
I’m glad I took the plunge with these babies.
I bought one initially. Then bought another a few weeks later, as I was so impressed.
And I AM NOT easily pleased
The container in the bottom fills with water and you can easily see how much it’s taken in, plus it’s really simple to unscrew and empty. The first few days it wasn’t taking water in so quickly but I’d read they could take a week or more to get working at it’s full potential. Now it’s half way full in just two days or less! We keep ours on 24 hours a day because it’s really quiet too even in the bedroom where we sleep – the glowing lights make a lovely little nightlight too! Honestly, if you can afford to, cash out and get one of these rather than the cheap disposable dehumidifiers. It works a charm!
