I’ve had this thing for a while and it’s awesome, perfect for jewelry, carburetors, ammo brass, engine parts, you name it. It has run constantly since I’ve got it and has never skipped a beat, I’ve had it for about a year and a half now

The item came well packaged and protected. The controls are relatively easy to understand and displays well. I cleaned some water filter and scuba gear with it and the sonic cleaning works well. I like the fact that there is drain valve to which you can connect a hose so you can drain it to wherever you want. The temperature is slow to rise but I don’t need high temperature. I usually use straight warm water or a mixture of water and a cleaning agent and use warmer water as needed. Overall happy with the purchase.

Got this for jewellery, it’s so good but has so many other uses, the heart is brilliant, it’s not a kettle and takes about 30 mins to heat from cold. Be careful what you put in as it will damage done thanks as I found out, clock parts, my fault. Great machine.

Used it on Saturday to clean caraburetors. Does a great job, however, I was surprised at the buzzing noise it produces when the ultrasound is selected on. Takes a while to heat up too.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThe cleaner is very easy to use. Perfect size for my requirements. Very good value compared to those that can be bought from a medical company. It is a little bit noisy but still a good buy.

The CO-Z 6L is fairly easy to use and does do the job! I would recommend it for small jobs.
It is not as powerful as I had hoped. It took twice as long to clean a carburetor as I had expected even though I had thourghally degreased it. (1/2 hour rather than15 minutes.)
The six litre was misleading to me as you have to put items in a wire basket first.
I would recommend spending a little more money and get a bigger unit if you are doing carb work. This one is too small!
Dont worry about cleaner costs as you dilute the cleaner considerably. The ultrasonic generator makes a loud noise that will drive you nuts. Use it in a separate room where you can close the door or plan on going out. Its not too bad at first but rapidly is annoying and gave me a nasty headache after 15 minutes of use.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersI enjoy repairing small engines. This usually involves cleaning a carburetor, and the traditional way to do this at home is with carburetor aerosol spray or dunk. That stuff is nasty, it melts rubber gloves and causes all kinds of cancer. Not usually a big concern if you only use it occasionally but I found myself going through 2-3 cans of spray a month and wanting a better option. Enter the ultrasonic cleaner. I’d seen them on YouTube before but normally only used by professionals. I decided the investment was worthwhile so went ahead an ordered one and have been very happy. It was a fairly big expense for a hobby but I end up using it very regularly and finding lots of other uses for it in the workshop so I’ve been happy with my decision. It is truly an industrial grade tool which is fantastic to have in a small workshop like mine.

It cleans carburetors very well – I often throw the whole thing in still assembled for 5 minutes or so, then disassemble it entirely and run it again for 10 minutes. Bigger parts fit in the basket but with little parts like carb needles and jets I put them in a ziplock bag, fill the bag with same solution from the ultrasonic cleaner, then just put the closed bag in the basket. The ultrasonic action can travel right through the bag so it still works well that way. I keep a 5gal bucket of water under the workbench so I can rinse parts off right after they come out of the cleaner then I dry with compressed air and/or a heat gun.

Right now I use standard Simple Green and water mixed 50/50 and that works pretty well. Most parts are clean after 10 minutes. I might try the purple heavy-duty Simple Green when I decide the tank is nasty enough to drain (I’m still on the same tank after a couple months). I’ve also used it to clean spark plugs, intake and exhaust manifolds, gears, suspension end-links, cylinder heads and anything else that fits. It is very convenient to be able to put rubber parts in without worrying about damaging them. Of course you should wipe off anything loose on the parts beforehand and for really plugged jets I sometimes still have to run a tip cleaner through them after running them in the cleaner but that’s okay.

I originally ordered a 3L model. As soon as I opened it I realized it was too small, even for my small-engine parts. I returned it for a 6L model which is about the minimum size I’d want for my application. The 6L model is big enough for engine carbs off riding mowers and snowmobiles. It might not be big enough for automotive carbs but you do have the option to turn a part and run it in the cleaner again if part is sticking out of the fluid.

My only complaints are the heater and the noise. The heater doesn’t seem powerful enough, it takes a long time to reach the operating temperature. Especially on cold days starting at 5-10 degrees Celsius it takes a few hours to reach 50 degrees. If I remember I’ll turn on the heater ahead of time but if I don’t plan my day I often end up running the heater with cold fluid. Still works just not as well. Sometimes I leave it on overnight to save time in the morning but I don’t like wasting energy. The noise is also annoying. It isn’t deafening, just not a nice thing to listen to. Having the fluid filled up to the top of the tank makes it a lot quieter. Luckily 10 minutes is usually all it needs so I’ll go grab a coffee or something.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersQuite noisy due to audible harmonics from the casing. It might benefit from some internal damping material. This should not deter anyone from buying this otherwise very good cleaner. I have used it to clean out a blocked combi boiler pressure switch with great success.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersNice little neat machine follow the instruction’s and it cleans well. No problems did the jobs I bought it for.
I would recommend it for the smaller jobs ( jewellery, coins, small engine parts and carbs etc).

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersPurchased this to clean certain firearm and RC parts. Having used an inferior ultrasonic cleaner in the past ($100 plastic unit previously purchased here on Amazon which now sits in my shed), I was ready to buy a higher quality unit.

First, this thing is LOUD (take it from someone that’s been in a machine shops since 17 years old (now 46). Nevertheless, this unit does a fantastic job of degreasing all parts which I’ve thrown at it. Using 1 cup Simple Green, 5 cups of tap water, 1 tablespoon of Dawn (hell… they use it on ducks so why the hell not??) and ALL parts came out very clean. Squeaky clean with no traces of oil/grease.

Con#1: Very noisy. I would compare it to having a girlfriend with one of those high-pitch voices that never shuts up. Thankfully, this unit has an on/off switch.. girlfriends do not. So if you do have such a girlfriend (poor you), you can run this thing at 2:00am to give her a taste of her own medicine. But then again, like Pink once said, “it’ll just be you and your hand tonight…”.

Con#2: This unit has no degas function. Not a dealbreaker for me as I just let it run 8-10 minutes prior to inserts parts to remove any air bubbles.

Con#3: The included faucet is not perpendicular to the body of the unit. I’m a perfectionist and this bothers me a fair deal. It does not leak, however. Being in aviation industry, I have an eye for these things. How can this pass quality assurance is beyond me (See photo).

    RECOMMENDED (4/5 STARS)!
