Was a hassle to set up. I had a game called Call Of Duty on my gaming console and the monitor would not support it, I had to put down the resolution to play, other games worked well. I would only recommend if you will be playing medium quality games.
I’m not sure what the other reviews are about because I’ve had it for around 4 weeks now and it’s worked perfectly fine! Very high quality- however it says 4k and 8k on the box which I was skeptics about at first and I was right there is no 4 or 8 k res but overall a very good monitor for work or gaming
Very nice monitor for a cheap price. Bought for 85 on sale. 1080p 180hz. Can confirm it does go to 180hz with the supplied DP cable unlike some people have claimed it doesn’t. Freesync works no problem on nvidia card. You just need to enable freesync in the monitor options.
Very happy with purchase.
Edit: 4 stars for dead pixel. Unfortunate but will make do for temporary monitor.
Apon plugging this monitor in it wasn’t what I expected, however as I discovered more settings to adjust the issues I have had so far have seem to go away, monitor is a tiny bit blurry in parts however I assume that’s on account of a few smudges here and there.
Any information about what the best cleaner to use will also be greatly appreciated
Good monitor, use it for my ps5 after my old hp one broke not the hz I orded but good enought can’t complaine about the price at all does what it’s meant too and saves you a few 100’s would of like it to be more curved but that’s just comparing to my last one, plug could be a bit smaller but easy to set up
The monitor is very nice and has great clarity on it! The stand feels very unsteady even with the screws tight. It doesn’t have speakers as far as I can tell so external speakers are required, getting a solid 180fps on doom eternal and the colours are very rich! Decent bang for your buck! The curvature is only slight but it’s enough to add some more immersion. The stand isn’t adjustable but it still sits at a great height.
Great monitor value for money, I did read reviews.. people saying the power cable doesn’t fit.
Mine fitted with no issues, only down side is the instructions are not really clear how to assemble the stand & which screws to use, had to figure it out myself.
Other than that the monitor is Great .
My son loves this, he prefers it to his previous set up of a 40″ TV.
Very immersive, great frame rates on PS5, makes him a better player he tells me.
Also uses it with a speaker so he can lie on his bed and watch movies. Keep in mind there are no speakers built into the screen to my knowledge so allow for this when purchasing and also get a cheap soundbar.
Just two small gripes the power button is on the rear making it less likely my teen will use it and leave it in powered on and there is only one hdmi. But for price comparison it’s a bargain.
I was pleasently surprised by this budget 1080p gaming monitor.
Everything is crystal clear when looking head on, my only grumble is that if you look at it from a slightly different angle, the colours / brightness can be a little off.
180hz setting works nicely and no tearing from my games which makes for a much smoother experience!
One thing I noticed is that sometimes you can see very faint white glowing areas of the monitor, but gently pushing on that area makes it go (IPS Glow I think is the technical term).
I have never heard of CRUA before, but don’t let that put you off as for the price, you cannot expect better!
