Lovely little bird table which is easily assembled with just a screwdriver as all holes are predrilled. Despite its light weight it has withstood the recent gales. I anchored it with metal pegs also purchased from Amazon.
Easy to assemble but really needs to have some sort of weatherproofing, but I put some clear wax on it and it seems OK. Update on weatherproofing, clear wax seems to be working, so upping rating to 4 stars, but manufacturer could consider making table weatherproof seening how it will be out in all weather’s.
Cheap and thin wood but what more can you expect for the price?
Was easy to assemble and is now in the garden being used by the robins
It is very easy to push over and a little wind probably will knock it over so I’m gonna have to anchor it down.
It came in a small box and initially I thought the worst, had I accidentally ordered a miniature bird feeder, but no, it isn’t the tallest bird feeder I have seen (about 1200mm) but it was easily constructed and looks good, probably needs a few extra screws to give it more rigidity but other than that it was fine.
Arm yourself with woodglue, some extra wood screws, a size 7 socket wrench for the 4 bolts, plus a decent drill and you’re good to go. For just over 10 you cannot expect much, but apparently some people do!
I put it together easily enough, gave the “pre treated wood” some protective varnish once finished as the wood seems bare and the plywood base would definitely balloon in wet weather soon enough. The top part does seem a bit too small for pigeons, but I’m guessing if they’re hungry enough, they’ll squeeze in!
I have ordered some anchoring pegs/pins to secure it to the lawn, as every bird table I’ve ever owned needs them and this one has quite a small footprint. Cheap and cheerful, and helps the birds. Job done.
Nice size bird table to which I have painted to preserve and match the garden.
I didn’t need the stand as I already have a fence pole. Nevertheless this was still excellent value for money and the best part is, that the birds love i
