I have a long hair rescue dog that I like to keep in a puppy cut. The groomer charges $160! I paid less than that for this and I use it monthly. Now I can groom him myself and he looks terrific! I really didn’t think this was going to work, but it does! It collects his hair as I cut it! I was just using a clipper and cutting him outside in the summer. When winter came I needed an indoor solution. This is it! I can fill the canister twice in one grooming, so you can tell, he has a lot of hair! This is the perfect solution.
Works great! Didn’t take long for my resistant cat and my apprehensive chihuahua to tolerate the vacuuming. I started out using the only the brush & comb before I turned on the vacuum. Excellent product. I can vacuum the fur off my clothes afterward. I see less dog hair in our vehicles now! I highly recommend. Got mine on sale at a bargain price.
My pup needs to go to the groomer about every six weeks. Each time I take him, it cost me just under $100. Each time I have taken him it has been obvious the amount of stress he feels going with a stranger. I may have continued to do this if I hadn’t had the previous two experiences. The first poor experience was when the groomer got too close with you Shears to the inside of his ears and caused a razor burn. This turned into an infection that took three weeks to heal from. I took him to a new groomer and this time they kept him over three hours and did a poor job. When I brought this Item from Amazon, I just hoped I wouldn’t make him look ridiculous. Instead, I think he looks fantastic! I am so incredibly thrilled with the results. Thank you!
I am adapting my Pyrenees to it, she’s still “puppy brain” (2) even though she’s big dog looking. I know when I get her use to it; she will be fine. The shedder is amazing with the vacuum, but I have to get her use to the sound. She’s smart and will adapt. I used the shaver to remove 2 matts in her back legs, once I relaxed it was amazing how much easier it was to shave than try to clip with scissors; she didn’t love it, but the matts had been there for a while; and I felt I was such a terrible mommy. Hindsight: I, have to get used to being a better groomer for Luna. She’s the first dog I have ever had that needs to be seriously groomed every week. I now understand those pics or videos of dogs that are dumped at the pound all matted up. Because they couldn’t groom and/or didn’t ask for help, those poor dogs suffer with that fur matted. We are their Guardians and it’s our responsibility when we adopt these animals to make sure they are taken care of properly. Her fur should be clean and ripple-flow when she moves around (it lasts for about 2 weeks in our yard, loves digging and laying in dirt.) I am retired and thank God I have the time. I totally feel I made a good choice with this pet vacuum.
Quite quiet as the dogs do not like the hoover , will sit well with the machine on . Learning how to groom and this Is definitely a good buy to help me through the process , no mess .
The clippers are better than any other type that I have purchased.
Our dogs don’t like the vacuum brush but the clippers are so good that I won’t return the device. I used the brush separately from the vacuum. The vacuum has great suction for cleaning fur from the couch.
Works very well! Has great suction but also makes you feel safe using it on your animals. The cats don’t mind it much and it saves a lot of hair from being around the house.
I had him sitting outside on a bench an it worked perfectly. Low noise, he stood still an allowed me to groom him. Since we were outdoors I just brushed and got the extra hair off and didn’t use the Vacuum Suction attachment. Tito (my dog) looked trimmer and much better after his grooming!
It took them few minutes to get used to it, but after a while they loved it!
Even though its not silent, it does it job!

What a difference this has made. My dog is going through the ultimate shed of her 3 years of existence. The photos are 2 sessions with in 24 hours. She’s only a small husky/pom mix. But the hair won’t stop. Will keep going daily till the clumps stop, then weekly to keep on top of it.

a aspire bcp de poils, surtout lors de la mue d’t, et cela permet aussi de diminuer le nombre de pils laiss par nos amis a quatre pattes dans la maison.
Trs bonne qualit gnrale, il n’y a que la brosse a sous poil que mon chien ne supporte pas, les petites boules de protection des aiguilles sont trop petites, et cela doit lui faire mal.
L’accs aux filtres n’est pas non plus hyper simple, mais les deux sont lavable l’eau.
Bon produit dans son ensemble.
Un appareil vraiment demi professionnel qui assure niveau aspiration post tonte.
Nanmoins le volume sonore est hlas assez lev et l’encombrement prendre en compte car il faut trouver le stocker entre deux coupes de notre poilu prfr 🙂
I’ve had the pleasure to testing a few different pet grooming vacuums and this is probably my favorite one. It is not perfect but it does things right most of the time.
For starters, disclosure: I am using it on a medium length hair cat. If you own a (or multiple!) large dog with long hair that sheds like crazy, do keep in mind that the some aspects of my evaluation may not always be as applicable to you, but I’ll try to keep a broad scope.
Operating volume: Your pet might require a bit of getting used to for this. I find the noise levels to be pretty adequate but it isn’t necessarily quieter than some smaller handheld vacuums for instance, which can still scare off pets. But at the lowest speed setting the volume is very manageable! It only took 3 grooming sessions with my cat to acclimate, now he loves it. One thing to note is that there are no spikes in noise levels in the higher frequency range, which is a great thing for us humans but especially for our pets.
Suction power: For my own uses, for the type of pet hair I am dealing with, the lowest power is more than adequate and is also less stressful for the more skittish pets. Considering the attachments all have either a way to funnel airflow or to self-clean the brushes, the lowest setting is generally sufficient. Yes, sometimes you do have to pass a second time though to make sure there are no loose hairs clinging to the fur which using the higher power setting can help mitigate. Suction power is generally great though in all 3 power settings, and high power is pretty strong.
Clipper: Note that the clipper is rechargeable and fully cordless. This has its pros and cons. Notably it can be used anywhere, on or off the vacuum system. The con is of course that it can run out of power while in use if every you didn’t recharge it before use. Otherwise, it is well made and cuts clean.
Other accessories: For starters I’ll say that I do wish the hose was longer. It would also further lower the noise levels perceived by your pet since you can place it further away. I do love the way these accessories fit on the hose though; they can fully rotate and still not have any leaks. The self-cleaning trigger on the brushes are by the index which is really convenient to always have access to, and they have a good balance in weight to press: not too easily pressed and does not require enormous effort to press either. The deshedding brush is also well polished with no hard edges.
Overall design: while I do kind of wish the exhaust wasn’t from the bottom of the unit it does work pretty well. The filter works very effectively and I don’t find any hair when I remove the second filter for inspection… and that’s because the first filter is very effective. Metal mesh filters aren’t the most effective but because it is conical at the center of the vacuum, it actually wraps animal hair around itself increasing it’s filterability. Yes, for very large amounts of hair it might require the vacuum to pull harder but I have not found it to be particularly problematic. Besides, the way pet hair wraps around the conical filter is awesome because the hair becomes a spool; you can just open the dust box and grab the whole spool out if your dust bin isn’t super full, in which case the excess hair will stop spooling. For cats this is awesome because the amount of hair you’ll gather in one grooming session will likely not pass this point; in fact I can do a few grooms before hair stops spooling so cleanup is super easy (and if you like felting with your pet hair it’s also super simple to gather).
So overall? Not going to say this is life changing or anything but the improvement in quality of life is absolutely noteworthy, especially if you normally get allergies after grooming your pets. Absolutely love it!
I recently got my hands on this pet grooming vacuum and, oh boy, was I in for a surprise! Living with two furry companions, one could imagine the amount of hair I find in every nook and cranny. The constant battle with stray hairs has always been part of our daily routine. However, the journey with this device has changed our grooming game.
What struck me first was its powerful suction, effortlessly vacuuming up a significant amount of pet hair. Gone were the days where I’d have to sweep or vacuum right after a grooming session. It was a refreshing experience to have such cleanliness during and after brushing.
I also found out that the tool selection was extensive and thoughtful. There’s a tool for almost every need. The round head proved effective for those days of heavy shedding, while the metal groom head became my go-to for regular grooming and those stubborn hairs. Plus, the additional brush meant my sofa and carpet could also benefit from a quick fur clean-up.
The three suction modes offered flexibility. I didn’t need to worry about the device being too strong or too gentle; it adjusted perfectly to my needs. Moreover, the low-noise design proved crucial. Initially, I was concerned about how my pets would react, but they remained calm and unbothered, even during extended grooming sessions.
However, everything isn’t sunshine and rainbows. While the dustbin does have a decent capacity, for those with larger pets, you might find yourself emptying it a bit more frequently than you’d like. A slightly bigger compartment would have been a cherry on top. That being said, the current design makes it convenient to detach and clean, which is always a plus. All in all, if you’re looking to make grooming sessions more efficient and your living space cleaner, this device might just be what you’ve been missing.
