The pillow arrived tightly vacuum packed and I left it for 24 hours. No smell from the memory foam and I couldn’t wait to try it……..amazing ! What a huge difference this pillow makes. I’m looking for a silk cover now. I love it.
As a person who sleeps either on my front or on my side I cannot remember the last time I slept properly.
The pain I got in my neck and back was horrid, and would limit me to do things with pinched or trapped nerves.
I even convinced my husband and he now sleeps with comfort too.
I brought this pillow as after years of spinal problems, I was told there was also problems with the discs in my neck. It is the most comfortable pillow I have ever slept on. The foam has kept its structure perfectly and as a woman of a certain age, the stay cool fabric of the cover is amazing. It gets chucked in the washing machine every week and is still as good as new. Cannot recommend enough. Won’t ever sleep on a standard pillow again.
Waited a couple of weeks before posting a review because I wanted to see if this would make a difference. I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain from poor sleep posture and this pillow has pretty much fixed it!
It takes a night or two to get used a new position especially if you’ve had bad posture habits for a while, but if you use the pillow for your style of sleep it is very effective!
Wish I had one years ago.
Bought as I have a stiff neck. Liked the different options for back and side sleeping. A bit of a tight squeeze putting onto the pillowcases but fine once on.
After first week feels good, something else then regular pillow, definitely recommend to try, does not go flat at all like regular pillows but feel weird for first few days
I suffered from shoulder pain for a long time because how I sleep. This pillow is a game changer. Keeps my head/neck line in the right position and no matter which way I turn. I sleep on my belly and still comfortable and I don’t have pain anymore from sleeping position. I would recommend 100%.
They will sleep in the divet where your head is meant to go.
I’ve been using this for quite a while and I am impressed especially for the price point. I find it much more comfortable than many more expensive pillows I have tried, both for back and side sleeping. Would buy again.
I have fused vertabrae in both my neck and my back and have tried so many pillows, memory foam and other. I’m a side sleeper and find that the neck support in most was too high for me, forcing my neck into an uncomfortable position. This one I will certainly buy again. It is wonderful; the ‘dent’ in the middle is just right for my neck. Great little pillow!
I recently purchased the Elviros Cervical Contour Memory Foam Pillow, and it has been a game-changer for my neck pain. The ergonomic design provides excellent support, and the memory foam ensures a comfortable night’s sleep. I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with neck discomfort!
I needed up putting own pillowcase over it as well as the pillowcase felt uncomfortable due to texture. Also, gets very hot.
However, it is great support for neck and has helped relieve some shoulder discomfort too. Am glad I bought it.
I’ve been using this pillow for a month and it is really comfortable and has been helping with the neck pain I’ve been having for several years. It does the job well and is reasonable in price.
The only reason I didnt give the product a five star rating was the fact it does not come with a cover and a normal cover does not fit effectively so is bit of an eye sore.
However, would definately recommend to those with neck pain, and it is great for the price you pay.
This pillow is brilliant, so soft but still supportive and comfortable for severe neck and back pain. I will be ordering more for relatives with the same problems as I am so happy with it and the great service I received from this seller. Thank you.
The shape is cool and it’s a comfy pillow for me. I haven’t found it any better for sleeping on my side with painful shoulders, but that’s more of a ‘me problem’. I think this is worth the money. Much comfier for me than the very expensive pillow I bought previously.
After reading the reviews I bought one of these having had several orthopaedic pillows in the past. I use it both sides around depending on how i feel and have not woken up with a stiff neck yet and i’ve been using it for weeks now. Some of the other orthopaedic pillows that just have the “neck curve” do still cause me neck pain. Would recommend.
Only had this a few nights but has already reduced the neck crick my old pillow gave me. It does need a few nights to get used to, but it’s worth it.
I was a bit skeptical about how good this pillow would be but I was wrong. I thought the shape would be better for my neck than a normal pillow. Since I bought this I have not had a bad night’s sleep. Previously I would wake up with a sore neck most mornings but this has not happened since using this pillow. I would 100% recommend.
It’s nice and has 2 sides so u can find the comfortable side for u , I have to use thin pillow on top tho as I do catch my earrings on the cover it has on it and need little extra height on i
Been using this pillow for months now. I bought the smaller one. It was easy to get used to, it’s soft and comfy and holds your head perfectly when lying on your back. When lying on your side, it’s also comfy. The biggest problem with this pillow is the pillow case. The WORST design I have ever seen in my life. I want to slap the idiot that designed it. Imagine putting a stiff thick mesh in the centre of the pillow case where your face naturally lies… it leaves a grid pattern on my face that you could do a crossword puzzle on and the marks can last over 3 hours and NOTHING works to get rid of them only time. I have put my silk pillowcase over the stupid one and it has helped soften the feel of the bad pillow case, but the marks will still get through, so I have to make sure I pull the pillow to the extreme left or right so the softer parts are under my face, and not the harsh centre part, if that makes sense – side sleepers need to sleep on the edges of the pillow, back sleepers will love it. I am a side sleeper most of the time and honestly, I would not sleep on any other pillow now, I bring it when I stay with family or to hotels!! I keep meaning to stuff a little hollow fibre into the silk pillowcase, in the centre, but haven’t’ gotten around to it yet, as I am afraid it will just slide all over the place and not do what it’s intended for – to block the grid marks from getting to my face. Occasionally I still get a mark on my face if I’m not careful, but the foam is sooo comfy it’s worth the risk! I still want to slap that designer though…
I got this pillow as Id been having serious neck pain from poor sleeping positions (on top of generally bad habits with my posture Im sure) – the result being a feeling of extreme tightness and tension on either side of my neck; a dull, constant and noticeable pain that wasnt relieved with any over the counter product; difficulty turning my head without discomfort; and the only “comfortable” position I could hold my head in was to have my chin practically resting on my throat, which only made it worse for the brief moments of respite it gave me!
I knew the core of the issue though was my pillow, as I kept waking up with my head at awkward angles, so tried this one to see if the additional and specific support would help me train me into better sleep posture.
It takes a few nights to get used to for sure – but the relief was immediate: my head and neck were fantastically supported – the issue for me though was getting used to the body position/s that I needed to sustain to keep the comfort on my neck. I pretty much had to re-learn how to lay in bed!
I did though, and the result is that after roughly 10 nights, the neck stiffness is slightly still there, but its no longer remotely painful – I can turn my head in its full range of movement without any twinges or tension straining, and crucially Im sleeping better.
The best (though perhaps still inaccurate!) way I can describe it is to say the pain faded within 3 days from “excruciating all the time”, to “only painful toward the end of the day” – to no pain at all: The stiffness is taking longer to go, but in 10 days feels like Ive gone from having a neck made of solid rock to one made of soft clay – that is its still not completely gone, I still have a feeling of tightness that isnt “right”, but theres so much more comfort and mobility, and this increased mobility has allowed me to comfortably do regular neck stretches and exercises which I couldnt manage before, and is loosening it up further.
My only gripe (and its a fairly minor one considering how good the pillow is) is that while it will fit in a standard pillowcase, it doesnt look good, and the case prevents you utilising the notches to comfortably position your hands/ arms (hence why I had a bit of trial and error finding the right body position) – but without a case I found it quite unpleasant as a surface texture to sleep on.
All in all though, a learning curve worth persisting with, and I’ll take a silly, lumpy looking pillow on my bed to spending my days and nights in agony!
So I’ve had this now a few weeks. The reason I bought it was due to existing pain in my neck I wanted to try to reduce. I read the reviews on a other products and decided to go with this one. So here are my pros and cons, please bare in mind I have nothing but conventional pillows to compare it to.
Pros
Firm support on my neck when I’m sleeping.
Reduced neck pain in general.
More mindful when choosing sleeping positions.
Pillow adapts to any position of sleep.
Once you’ve adjusted to sleeping on it you get a good night’s sleep.
Well made product that you can return if you’re unsatisfied.
Fits in a normal pillow slip.
Cons
The removable cover isn’t replaceable.
It had a smell about it that’s taken weeks to disappear or I’ve grown used to it.
You’re meant to sleep without a pillow slip on but the make up of the pillow catches on ear piercings. OUCH!
It takes perseveration to adjust to sleeping on it as it’s a lot lower than what I used to sleep on but once you crack it it’s good.
As it has memory foam in it, it can become too warm.in hotter weather.
Overall I would buy it again as it’s doing what I need it to do. Hope this helps
