Los uso todo el tiempo y me resultan muy tiles, porque siempre solemos llevar las Quest 3 para compartir en reuniones con amigos, y, aunque la usase yo solo, me gusta llevar los controladores ms protegidos, y sobre todo por compartir, me gusta tener algo que se pueda lavar fcilmente. Y estos cumplen con todo eso y me gusta el aadido de que la batera se puede cambiar fcilmente.
Y aqu es donde vienen los 2 pequeos defectos que le he encontrado. Uno es que el cambio de pilas no es realmente tan fcil como lo pintan. Siempre vas a necesitar las 2 manos para hacerlo porque tienes que presionar la pila hacia atrs, y no slo tirar de la tira transparente como indican. Esto no es terrible, y es algo ms del diseo de las Quest que de este protector en s. Tambin ten en cuenta que debes remplazar las tapas de la pila de serie por unas que vienen con este set. Y luego, el segundo defecto tiene tambin que ver precisamente con esa tira para cambiar las pilas. Siempre tienes que dejarla hacia afuera y la vas a sentir mientras juega, lo que no es terrible, ni hace dao, pero puede hacer que pierdas un poco de inmersin al sentir siempre un plastiquito en tu mano.
Por todo lo dems, me parecen geniales y son mis protectores de los mandos para uso diario, as que no es tan terrible.
Contenido: Inlcuye el grip y correa para los dos mandos, dos tapas para pilas, y dos cubiertas para los mandos direccionales.
Lo principal y que en muchos grips fallan, es que la funcin de deteccin y seguimiento de los mandos funciona bien.
Incorpora una tapa para las pilas que te permitir cambiar las pilas del mando sin tener que quitar el grip, algo muy a agradecer.
Las instrucciones estn en ingls aunque son muy autoexplicativas y no contienen casi texto.
El cover para los mandos direccionales son algo duros y pueden llegar a chocar en los extremos limitando algo el movimiento.
La tapa de las pilas incluye un plastico transparente que sirve para ponerlo por detrs de las pilas y poder sacarlas fcilmente. No lo arranques ni tires.
Conclusin: El tacto del grip es suave y cmodo para jugar, no tendrs problemas ninguno con el seguimiento de los mandos y no tener que estar quitando y poniendo el grip cada vez que tengas que cambiar las pilas es un plus. Muy rocomendables.
It is much more comfortable to use grip covers than to use plane controllers. You can replace the battery without removing the grip cover. It is probably not compatible with a charger, but I use ordinary batteries so this is not a problem.
These are the perfect fit and offer good protection whilst also having good grip. I am hoping the straps loosen up over time as they are a little stiff. I would’ve preferred the straps to be a little softer and have a little more give. However it’s not a major issue and i am happy with the protection and fit.
Easy to pull on to the controllers, these moulds are a snug fit. They have packed quite a few decent features in this set.
Firstly the grips themselves have a textured palm grip. This helps with longer play times (in terms of comfort) as well as a general better grip than the smooth plastic of the controllers themselves. Far less slippery. If you need extra safety, these have bands that ensure the controller doesn’t go flying (we’ve all been there). This is better than a string loop and in some games, it provides more freedom to rest your fingers. There is no issue where the cover restricts access to buttons or ports. In fact, these make getting to the batteries nice and easy, with replacement covers that work with the grips.
The thumb stick caps are also more comfortable than using the sticks without. They are easy to pull across the sticks to add them.
A good kit – recommended.
Pros:
– The cover is made of smooth silicone material
– Provides good grip on all sides
– The replacement battery cover allows easy access without having remove the entire cover.
– The strap is made of faux leather and the velcro feels high quality, it provides a tight, secure feeling.
– It’s not uncomfortable even during lengthy/intensive sessions.
Cons:
– The hoop for the strap is in an odd place and can pinch the skin, leave a mark, but it’s not that bad.
– The rim of silicon on the top edge of the controller can interfere with the thumbsticks, preventing full actuation to the side, especially if you also put on the included thumbstick cover. (see pictures)
This can be fixed by removing the thumbstick cover and/or cutting off a piece of the interfering silicon next to the thumbstick-well.
All things considered, it’s a very useful product, and also quite cheap considering the official alternative. It protects the controller while providing a good grip and secure straps. Especially good deal considering the price.
Good set of silicone covers that help protect from scratches and provide a better grip with the strap. Comfortable to hold and easy to pull onto the controller. Doesn’t effect the sensors on the controller at all and a much needed accessory for protecting your device.
I like having access to the battery compartment as that was an issue with other silicone covers I have used in the past. The cover for the caps is also a great inclusion, but they can be very fiddly to get on. Also the price is a bit much as I have seen cheaper covers available. As a product though, it works as expected.
I always get a pair of these style controller grips when I get a new headset, but these are the best I’ve used so far. The silicon is soft and stretchy and fits over the faceplate of the controllers, with holes cut for the IR LEDs to shine through for the headset to detect. I have had no issues with tracking so the holes seem to be in a good place!
The strap is made of a PU Leather type material which is soft and comfortable over extended sessions. The strap is wide and doesn’t rub my skin, and is adjustable between a wide range of sizes for different hands.
The battery door is excellent and will make changing batteries so much easier. The grips come with a special battery door that has a gap in it, which secures the battery door in place. This works great for keeping the batteries in the controller and I haven’t had any issues yet, even after long gaming sessions.
Highly recommend these straps for everyone with a Quest 3 – huge improvement to the overall experience.
This fits perfectly, the holes line up with the IR LEDs and the grip is great.
The leather type strips work but I would have preferred a rubber type for a bit more grip.
Whilst the quest controllers do have a strap, they aren’t the grippiest of devices to hold and I’m always very conscious that one could slip and either be damaged, or cause damage! These covers solve that problem!
First off, take off the existing battery cover and replace with the included battery covers that have a space in them for easy access when in the case. Then pop on the covers and adjust the hand straps for some extra security when using the controllers. In use, there were no issues with tracking, and they made holding the controllers a much more enjoyable experience! They are soft and comfortable to hold, with the “leather” straps helping to keep them secure in your hand.
Also included are some joystick covers, however I did not use these as prefer the feel as they are.
The Eyglo Controller Grip Covers for Quest 3 are an extremely good product. I thought perhaps I would need to make some compromises in order to fit them, but the designers have really put a lot of thought into how to create a set that allows you to get a really tight grip on the controllers without having to compromise accessibility.
Fitting the grips was really simple. I didn’t have to remove the wrist strap from them because they’ve put a hole at the bottom for the strap to go through. I was happy that it was there because it is sometimes useful to be able to dangle the controller from your wrist.
The second thing that can be a problem with covers is changing batteries, but they have included two replacement battery covers which fit perfectly into the controllers. These have a hole in them, so the battery is exposed, and then the silicone cover has a door which clips into the edge of the replacement battery covers, so changing the battery is as simple as opening up that door and switching out the battery.
The covers/grips also feel really nice to hold. The silicone is soft and smooth to the touch, and the grip is a strong leather effect strap velcro strap which can be adjusted to the tightness you desire. I attached it and tried shaking my hand around to see if the controller would stay firmly attached, and it did, so this is a massive improvement to the function of those controllers as you now have the flexibility to move any or all of your fingers without worrying about the controller slipping.
The only thing in this package which wasn’t a winner for me were the two silicone joystick covers. They do make the joystick a lot softer to hold, but the silicone is a bit too slippery to use for those and I found my thumb would slide on them.
They feel comfortable and look great although the plastic the covers are made from feel cheaper than the originals you don’t put you hand on that part anyway. They work well and are easy to put on and make it easier to replace the batterys too.
AMVR make stretchy straps on their Quest controllers and I much prefer that style. These are just a bit too rigid. But the general design is good – no tracking problems and access to the battery is a clever feature. In general, this is a good product.
