The set contains 2 books, pencils and 4 stencil sets.

The books are essentially rainbow coloured card with a scratchable black coating that reveals the colours when rubbed away.

The range of designs on the stencils is good, catering for a range of tastes from
    Unicorns to dinosaurs.

The pages can also be scratched away freehand so kids can create their own designs.

It’s a bit of a different way for kids to get artistic and create their own images. It’s a relatively mess free way of creating art. The black coating creases some crumb material, but this is easily brushed away or hoovered up.

The fact that these are a 2 pack is brilliant, as it means I can pinch the wooden scratching tool from the other book and show my toddler how to use these.
My toddler is 2-3 years old, he can grip the wooden stick well enough but did occasionally struggled with the pressure needed to scratch the pages. So from time to time he did get frustrated that his movement weren’t leaving a mark. He was absolutely delighted when it worked, and he could see rainbows.
I like that this is relatively mess free, and the multiple pages mean you get quite a bit of use out of it.
Some stencils were included too, but they’re too advanced for my 2 year old.
