I’ve always been asked if I dyed my beard ginger, I don’t, but after Halloween it defiantly had more of a blood red colour to it! Product is easy to use, and has great constancy and colour, Like actual blood, it stains, so be weary of that if you are going for the classic Dracula white and black suit look.
I would like to say that this product has one job, to act as blood for fancy dress.
There is also a lot that could go wrong with this type of item, however this does it all perfectly.
The bottle is slightly smaller than I expected, but it was actually better this way.
The effect of the blood does look great, it darkens slightly once dry and therefore gives the best look for an authentic feel.
I will say that the blood did come off around half way through the night, but I was in a hot and humid club, so this is completely warranted. I think if this was any more permanent, it would make it extremely difficult to remove.
The removal of the blood was very simple and came out of my white shirt perfectly fine on a normal wash.
All in all, great product, can recommend highly.
Bought for Halloween. It was thicker than I expected, kind of jelly like. Worked reasable well for blood spatter using a pastry brush and flicking. Also used on my daughters face for some blood smears. Took a bit of rubbing to get off, but didn’t stain. Overall for the price a good buy.
Effective as it is DARK red. Easy to use and wash off.
I used it combined with thick gel blood too as I was doing a scar.
Also used on its own for standard running blood effect.
Great for what I needed. Continues to look like blood and doesn’t dry out too much as the night went on. 4* rather than 5 as it stained a little and took a while to come off.
Really liked this worked very well over the tattoo’s that i’d applied for my costume. It can take a while to dry down and is a little light around the edges but I found it really added depth to the darker areas. Came off ok, thankfully applied mainly over something so when I rubbed it off it hadn’t stained. Would def buy again.
