Fit great in car dog sit great in this. Had other had to send back has did not fit in my car .my dog chills in this when in ca
I wouldn’t say it’s the most sturdily built seat (I’ve done one sewing repair) but we’ve had ours around a year now and it’s still going. I like that the sides are soft, so our dog can lie flat on it if she wants.
Adopted a second dog, so obviously had to treat her to one of these to go with the first. Definitely recommend these for small to medium sized dogs. Can go either on the front or back seat.
Love it and so did my dog, took it out the box,put it on the floor and he went straight in it and stayed there for hours! Its warm and cosy! Its now in the car and altho ive not put my dog in it yet, it looks safe and secure. My dog is a rescue and doesnt like getting in the car but reckon this will help.
I bought this for occasional use when my dog has to sit in the back seat of our car. I added an extra cushion to raise it up a bit and this flattened the bed out as the built in padding gave a domed seat. I was able to easily and securely attach the bed to the car by shortening the lower stap and fitting this behind the drop down armrest in thr middle seat of the car and looping the top strap round the head rest for the central seat I occasionally need to hold onto my dog around sharp bends – I always sit beside her. She can look through to the front window but sees only the top half of buildings, trees etc so I might find a cushion underneath the bed to raise it up – but at the moment it is really easy for her to get into and she loves it. My dog weighs 8 kg so I wasnt sure a box shaped suspended type of car seat would work for her.
Perfect size for my 10kg cockapoo. Straps are far too long even on shortest settings to fit snugly around the seats of my Galaxy. (Will be shortening with a sewing machine.) The dog absolutely loves this. Able to sit or relax and sleep on longer journeys. Wide, but squishy enough that it doesn’t cause a problem for the teen-age children in the back.
Edit:
Strap are only adjustable from one side which is the issue in the galaxy and why I was considering shortening with a sewing machine. However… Straps had to be extended to full length to go around the head rest of a BMW SUV when borrowing a lift recently, so although I thought they were too long, maybe they aren’t and just need dual side adjustments.
I was looking for a car seat that would be comfortable like a bed but still easy to clean, this seemed to fit the bill!
Got my pup used to sitting in this one in the house first and giving treats. Then moved into the car and he sits in it no problem, strapped in but doesn’t try to climb out anyway.
It is snug for his chunky 10kg size (see pic of him standing), but he seems happy to curl up and snuggle in just fine.
I always put a blanket over it so it hasn’t needed a proper wash yet, just used wipes and spray on it so far. But size wise it looks like it will fit in the machine fine which according to the advert is safe to do. Hopefully when it does go in the machine it will wash up fine!
