This harness was for my friends dog. it is a good
Fit for him. The colour is great too. Suits the dog
As he is white. It is easy to.put on him and he
Seems comfortable in i
Great adjustable harness , with a good size underbelly , our put has no problem putting this on we used it from 7month old she is 10month old now and still fits the harness perfectly, sturdy build quality, and a great price , would recommend to anyone with medium sized dogs.
I’m so pleased with this harness,it fits so well, I brought medium for my cavapoo who is a bit on the stocky side, the measurements were accurate and plenty of adjustable strap left.
Would definitely reccommend.
after a couple of badly fitting and fiddly harnesses I got a small Funfox and it`s great, fits my 4yr old JUG perfectly without any adjustment, fast and easy to put on and doesn`t slip off ,looks smart too, 10/10
Adjusts easily and easy to use.
Have tried another harness on our dog in the past and this is far superior.
Easy to fit and gives great control.
Highly recommend.
Nice sturdy harness for our working cocker spaniel – his shape does not always suit some harnesses. Only downside is the fact that you have to pull the head section over his head – does not unclip like the sides do. He does not like that !!
The reason I gave it four star is ( wanted to give it 4.5 but it wouldn’t let me do it ) I found it fiddly to fit . The adjusters were a bit awkward to move . But the quality and the stitching are good and strong . ( as this was bought for a large rescue dog ) and he has pulled and pulled in it . Front clip on it and the clip on the top are metal and are really strong . I feel this harness will last till the new dog grows out of it as it is good . Just for me the adjusters let it down .
We have bought a a few of these harnesses for our dogs. They always fit well with plenty of adjustment so you feel your dog will be safe and comfortable. Having the lead loops on top and in front means there are options for attaching the lead as you prefer for your dog.
Using this for the first time today. Just as I was worrying that the front clip would allow my dog to back out of the harness if she spun around to face me on a lunge, she dove through a hedge after a cat and I had to drag her back out – she was still on the line when I pulled her out of the hedge lol.
Loses a star for taking ages to dry and using scratchy thread to attach (at least) the D-rings; I’ll probably put some kind of patch over it on the inside to avoid it irritating/scratching my dog’s skin.
My border collie is nearly 13 and has hip dysplasia and arthritis in his front legs, though is amazingly fit and well for his age – helped by turmeric, green lipped mussel powder and more recently, anti-inflammatories. We live right by the canal plus have a small lake in the garden and he often plops in for a little swim.
However, because he is quite stiff now he finds it difficult to get out and this is why I bought the harness. I looked at a lot of harnesses and chose this one, not only because of the good reviews, but because the handle on the top faces the most practical way. Most of the other harnesses’ handles are positioned at the back end and run from side to side. This one is at the front (so easy to grab him when struggling up the bank) and faces forward, so easy to hook your fingers into.
The harness is easy to fit – the neck strap slips over the head and can be made larger or smaller with the step and buckle and then there are two clips either side of the chest to secure the back part in place. Again, the chest straps can be adjusted – not so easy but then you don’t want them to slip out of place. It is well padded and so far looks as if he is very comfortable in it. You would need to look out for rubbing behind the elbows, not all harnesses fit very well. I only put it on him for walks and when going in the car.
So for the car, he goes in the back section of my Rav 4 with the harness on and I have just bought a pair of short adjustable straps with a section of bungee elastic and a hoop to go over the back head rests and the clip goes on the back of the harness – never on the collar which can cause damage to their necks.
He is quite a large collie weighing between 25-27kg and I got the Large size which fits perfectly and looks very smart. I haven’t checked out how well the reflective strips work but because he is such a contrast his white bits are easy to pick out in the dark anyway!
