They wouldnt, because they’re too busy eating these. Which says enough I think. Whenever we put out two feeders worth in the morning, they’re all gone by the next. So the birds* must be busy eating them

    *also squirrels

The squirrel, pigeons clear the one feeder daily but the smaller birds capitalise on the mesh feeder, but the nuts do seem to go black very quickly so waste more than the smaller birds eat.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe tub was undamaged and the peanuts therein were fresh, of very good quality and large. Would most definitely recommend. I tasted a couple they were good so I am sure my garden birds will love them.

Feeders filled and hungry little birds devouring them
A flat mesh dish has been set aside for ground feeding birds and the Squirrels !
A mixture has been added to this along with peanuts which disappear at an alarming rate whenever the squirrels are about
    Certainly worth buying

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally pleased with the product, good value but the tub was broken causing the nuts to spill in the box. The other tub of food wasn’t damaged. Unable to request a replacement via Amazon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product - but damaged in transi

The peanuts are really good buy. Most in shops that I’ve bought are broken or in halves and broken but these are good solid nuts that don’t fall out of peanut feeder when hanging them on hook in garden.

Bought more for the tub so I can keep refilling. What can you say. Birds seem to like them but don’t think they are much different in price from other shops

This bucket of nuts for the birds are of good quality and my Blue Tits, Great Tits and Coal Tits are still visting my feeder so they must taste good too, in fact because they looked so good I did taste a bit of one myself and it tasted, okay. /;) The bucket has a handle and an air tight lid and was delivered safely by Amazon.

The vast majority of the nuts are of good size and in great condition, but if you do find any blackish or discoloured nuts, ‘don’t throw them away’, peel the skin off and you’ll find that the nut is just fine underneath. Overall these nuts are a good buy and the 3 litre bucket that I bought should be enough to keep my local birds healthy and warm this winter. /*v*
