Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy Daily Skin Therapy, 8 Ounce

So I suffer from pretty bad keratosis pilaris, and overall dry skin; I’ve always had rough arms. Decided that was it was time to try and do something about it again (I’ve tried quite a few remedies over the years), so I hop on Amazon and buy this cream. And oh, wow! Three days of daily use, and while my skin was nicely moisturised, nothing changed much. Then on the third day, about an hour after putting it on I looked down horrified at my arms; skin was just peeling off of them. I guess I hadn’t been using my exfoliator as much as I should have; there was a LOT of dead skin. But once that was all brushed away, my arms look and feel nearly normal! (as in other people’s normal, not my normal). I am so thrilled. Definitely will be buying again.

Brought this to use on my legs with suspected KP. It is really moisturising and completely removed the lumps and bumps on my legs in 2 weeks and left them really soft and smooth but unfortunatly did nothing for the red marks. Seen other reviews mention the smell, its really not bad its the cream just isnt perfumed. It did take a while to sink into the skin and did flake if I wore jeans or if i applied too much

The smell isn’t the most pleasing but it gets the job done.

Was skeptical as nothing had got rid of the bumps on my arms. However I was wrong! This is a simple mind blowing product. I wish I had discovered it 20 years ago!

While I was in Canada, my skin was suffering due to the dusty, dry environment. My skin was flaking, itchy, dry and I certainly wasn’t at my most attractive, unless you are into someone who resembles a shedding reptile.

On the recommendation of my nurse friend, I purchased another type of Gold Bond cream. I’m always very hesitant trying new skin creams, mainly cause I seem to have an allergic reaction to everything. I’m lucky I’m not allergic to air, unless that’s what asthma really is…?

The cream was amazing! From first application “What is this witchcraft?!”, I realised that although my skin had been dry due to the weather in Canada, it turns out it’s never been like real skin at any point in my life! The only thing I can equate it to, is when I went to the opticians. That moment at the end of the eye exam when they say, for the last time, how is this? And for the first time you realise the entire world has been out of focus and the reason the cat has been ignoring you for the last 3 months, is because it’s a hat and you’ve accidentally been living in your neighbours house. Epiphany!!

Skin shouldn’t feel like flaky sandpaper, apparently – who knew!

Upon return to the UK, I went looking for more. This is what I found and as I also suffer from Keratosis Pilaris (yes, I am a vision to behold), I thought, why not! Let’s do this! And, drum roll please, my arms have never been smoother. Yes, they are still scarred and red, but they are smooth, the condition has improved and I have finally found a cream I’m not allergic to!

It is a little greasy if you use too much (I got over excited – it wasn’t pretty), but if you use it sparingly, it’s actually totally fine.

Im now going to invest in the lotion for daily use and I can’t wait… I’m easily excited.

I keep this constantly stocked. The smell isn’t unpleasant, but it’s not brilliant either. It also does take its sweet time to absorb, and in the meantime, you’re likely to grease up anything your arms touch. However, both are caveats I’m willing to suffer for the miracles this stuff does. Definite recommendation.
