There is nothing to dislike. My battery was struggling one day during the recent cold snap and couldn’t start the diesel engine. I just connected the device to the battery, pushed the starter and it started straight away
In all my years of driving I very rarely needed to jump start my car, however, with an old camper I thought I should get something like this.
Bizarrely, that’s when my wife’s Hyundai started having problems despite a new battery, and this thing has started the car every time.
Something to bear in mind is that chargers traditionally don’t work if the battery is totally dead as they need a small amount of power coming from the battery to allow them to work. However modern chargers usually incorporate a boost button which gets around this issue – and this unit has one of those.
This morning – no charge after connection, press Boost and it starts. A very useful thing to have around.
So received this already mostly charged up but topped it up anyway, attached the clips to the battery and the engine instantly started, most impressed.
The unit is still showing full charge so it clearly didn’t take much out.
What a great purchase and of course you can charge up household devices with it, brilliant addition to the gadget toolbox.
After been quoted stupid money to come and jump start my car and being told it was something seriously wrong with my car . I decided too go against what the mechanics had try to tell me and purchased one of these used it straight out the box very easy to use . Worked first time and still running . Put it in my glove box for emergencies don’t waste your money on mechanics if you no it’s the battery just get one of these
I washed my car myself yesterday, leaving the doors open for a while. Only to find out that my car wouldn’t start in the evening. The dash turned on but the ignition didn’t start. I looked this up and decided to order to help jump-start the car. It arrived very quickly the next morning, already fully charged. Hooked it up as instructed but still car did not start. Then used the boost button and whala!, my car came back to life.
This saved me this morning especially since I had to go to work. Risky.
But I’ll be leaving this in the car for emergencies. Recommended as you never know when your battery might run down. Imagine coming back from a trip abroad to find your car in the airport parking with a run-down battery. :O

Very intuitive to use even without reading the instructions, which I did immediately after first use!
My Vauxhall Agila would not turn over and start after non use over Christmas. So after looking at various starters prices and reviews I decided on this one GOOLOO GP3000. I have only just got round to use it today and thinking the battery must be quite flat by now . I connected the charger to the battery , got a green light to say enough charge still in battery, so no need to use booster button. Got in car and it started straight away! I am so pleased with this Starter. Engine running within minutes. The body feels quite robust. The instructions are easy to follow. Charging is straight forward. I would recommend this quality product.
