I own many Govee rbic lights and they all seemed to break from time to time, after going through 4 rbic lights in the span of a few months for my desk I decided to buy this one specifically because it was advertised for the desk. No complaints so far, hasn’t broke on me yet which is great.
The RGB’s are absolutely fantastic, super bright and very easy to put up!
One downside was that they fell of my desk overnight, my desk is glossy so that’s probably the reason, i’ve added one of those clear adhesive tapes and they are spot on now!

Brought these lights for my new desk and could not be happier, it took less then 5 minutes to put them around your desk and the functionality is superb and all the modes are amazing and the colours are bright and vibra
Added to the app, they work very well and give plenty of configurations although I prefer the default rainbow look. They seem durable also. I have padded up the arms of my gaming chair so that it doesn’t damage the lights but they seem built to take a few hits anyways. The adhesion on them is great as well. Overall, I am very impressed with these.
Next best equivalent may cost less than half the price. If money is an issue, get this.
Check the length, this is for 3m only, expensive for what it is but excellent quality.
I’ve had much cheaper lighting to go around my gaming set up and trying to compare the cheaper lighting to this is like comparing day and night they are completley different quality wise.
Before you even the box to take these lights out you can feel the quality, these lights are just short of 1kg in weight.
Great adhesion , it says you can cut the strip but i wouldn’t dare cut anything that costs so much.
Fantastic addition to any games room or man cave, works great with app on your phone or with alexa.

The price point of these is absolutely extortionate and really isn’t affordable to most unfortunately but they are absolutely incredible and make such a huge difference in any room. I love how customizable they are, so many colour options and patterns to pick from. I love how you can twist and turn them into any way you want. 3 metres doesn’t go that far if you make them into squiggles, I’d love to get a bigger length of them but regardless they are my favourite form of lighting I’ve ever come across yet. Easy to set up and use and they’re just so ambient and pretty. If you can afford these, do it!! You honestly won’t regret it!
his is one of the best led strips I’ve had. its super easy to use and control. it has a very wide selection of colour which is great to set the mood.
the adhesive is super sticky so you’ll want to get it right first try. i love the fact that its bendy and doesn’t have the separate leds. value wise id say its worth it, your not going to get much better than this. overall 5/5 would recommend
The lights are made of a soft neon-silicone material which is nicer and stronger than the usual, cheap ones. It fits really well around the edges of my desk. They were easy to set up and fit nicely on my desk because I could cut them to the right size at 12 different points.
These lights can match up with the AI Gaming Sync Box and Razer Chroma. So, the lights change when I’m playing my games, making it feel like I’m really inside the game. *Just remember that you need to buy the AI Gaming Box separately.* It’s like the lighting is part of the gameplay, adding an extra layer of cool to my gaming sessions.
A definite step up from the usual RGB strips, and a purchase I don’t regret one bit.Would definitely recommend for your gaming set up, as well as it will make an excellent gift for a gamer.

If you’re not familiar with Govee then you should be! They provide superior products that function great and perform just as good.
This is one of a few Govee lights I have in my house and I love it. I’ve installed it around our gaming desk and it looks fantastic and really enhances the look and feel of the room.
It comes Govee branded packaging which again feels premium.
Setup is super simple and within minutes it was connected to my phone and I was customising it through the govee app. The app is super intuitive to use and gives you a myriad of options for customisation.
The light output is excellent and has the ability to have multiple colours across the strip with it being RGBIC. It gives out a lovely diffused light without any hotspots which lends itself to the premium look.
Price wise it’s slightly more expensive than competitors but they don’t compete in terms of quality and functionality to its well worth it.

At 100 for only 3M, these come with a premium price tag. But they are excellent and worth it

I’ve had numerous lights like this before, but right out of the box, you could feel & tell that these are well made. Even the weight of them is quite surprising. Once I plugged them in I was impressed by how awesome the light effects were. So many time I’ve got LED lights to be disappointed by the fade settings. Not many people want their room looking like a rave. So I was glad to see plenty of fade functions with some advanced setting like chase modes with 2 colour

The lights can also be set to synced to razer chroma systems or controlled via the smart app. They can be set to sync to music but I never use that feature on any lights as I find it annoying. It’s worth noting that these only support 2.4GHz WiFi connections. This isn’t a problem but ensure you have 2.4 or a duel band wifi connection.My only real complaint about these is the price. 100 for only a tiny 3M is excessive. Besides that, excellent lights
Another brilliant lighting strip from govve. High quailty, easy to apply, looks incredible and most importantly (for me at least) its easy to customise. This light (once stuck in place) produces a very vibrant but diffused light, completely customisable segment by segment. If you’re familiar with the govve app you’ll already understand how this is done, and if you’re not – its so intuitive you’ll have it figured out in seconds. Connection was also a matter of seconds – works brilliantly with alexa once you’ve downloaded the skill and I’ve had zero issues with lagging or disconnections. Actually one of my most reliable lights so far. Price point might seem a little high compared to others but for the build quailty, lighting performance and functions, Smart home integration, reliability and a very good app – I’d happily pay the difference for any single one of those points, with them all its a no brainer. Would recommend
These are not like the simple led lighting strips you can get. These are way better quality and have some brilliant features that can be really played with and explored through the Govee home app which is available for Android and iOS devices for full control over the lighting features.
Although I like the cheaper led light strips that show the led chips, I’m starting to think that these strips look dated (if they’re on show) they’re good for hiding behind features but if you want to show off the strip lighting you have to go for the diffused type which conceals the led chips and looks much much better like this strip light features.
The strip is very flexible and will look fantastic applied to the edge of a desk either office or a gaming station.
These benefit from Alexa and Google home integration so you can voice control seamlessly. Music sync built in from either the app or the in-line control box makes the strip change colour, chase, fade….you name it and these lights can do it.
Through the app you can create your own lighting patterns too and you can choose from a range of preset scenes amongst other options such as brightness control, mic sensitivity for music activating etc etc.
These are truly wonderful light strips and granted they’re a bit pricey at just under 100 at time of review but they are top quality and in my opinion worth the money.
Don’t go for the cheapy led chip lights for your gaming station desk….go for these and you won’t be disappointed.
They are self adhesive and stick really well with some alcohol prep wipes included in the box to prepare the surface before installation for a clean, greasy free edge.
These are relatively energy efficient too at just 36W from a 24V DC 3 pin UK plug adapter and the lighting effects are astounding.
Also included in the box is an end cap for capping off any cut ends and an angle cover for getting around any 90 angles.

Another great product by Govee. I have other Govee home lighting products that are app and Alexa controlled (we use Amazon Alexa for our smart home control) and we have never had any issues with pairing their products and controlling them with amazing lighting features around the home from the kids bedrooms to floor lamps in the living room. Great quality and fantastic light features.
