it was a bit of a faff to get the cover on but once on my daughter loves it and sleeps with it instead of her duvet now. Great for anyone with ASD or anxiety
I have gone from being awake either for most of the night or waking up loads of times to only being awake once during the night. I did go for a slightly heavier one than was recommended but it’s been fine for me, I just can’t get out of bed very quickly as have trouble moving the blanket.
This blanket has been amazing for my 8 year old son who suffers from anxiety. It really calms him down in bed and as a tv blanket. It seemed expensive but honestly it’s been so worth the money. I just wish I’d bought a larger size.
Really beautifully made and very soft weighed blanket. My 10 year old struggles with anxiety, particularly at night. This made a big difference for the few nights but has been less effective since then. That may be due to her own anxieties rather than the blanket though. I was cautious to order the correct weight for her size but in hindsight I think she would have benefitted from it being heavier so it wasn’t so easy to throw off during restless sleep.
Soft and snuggly – my daughter (no special needs) has found it noticeably easier to settle down at bedtime and is sleeping better evidenced by being less tired during the day. Downside is we had to take it with us on holiday.
This is a lovely, soft, vibrant weighted blanket. I bought it for my son who has autism, he struggles to sleep and like compression. I thought I’d give this a go. I’ll try anything right now. I bought the heaviest one because his twin brother uses it too. So far so good. I calm and the first night he used it he was asleep after 1 hour. It’s very hot at the moment so he’s not using it as much as he would like. The only downside is trying to clean it. So yes it all is machine washable but my son is double incontinent and wiggley so he will wet the bed. I do think it would help in the inner actual weighted blanket was waterproof. Also the picture makes it look bigger than it is.
