    I got the grey model and it has a nice nostalgic vibe to it, once I set it up. Because I don’t use a protector to cover my Switch, I needed to use the rubber pads that are included to properly protect the switch from rubbing against the docking station which proved to be no problem. The Switch easily connected to the USB C male port and could be pulled from the docking station with no issue. The button to switch it from handheld to tv output, worked with about a 1 second delay. I can see the value of it as a stand that you can use to charge your Switch while you play it in handheld mode, but personally, I think it works best as a spare or travel dock. The only issue I have with the product is that there isn’t an included HDMI cable; for the price they’re charging, I would expect at least that. If they included an AC adapter, this would be a steal at the price, but you’ll have to reuse your own or devise another solution. Overall it’s well designed, has a great nostalgic look, travels well, and is very compact considering all the extra ports you get to charge your switch and its accessories.

    Generally speaking this works well. Connects to tv or computer. Functions well without lag. Good graphics. Only minor issue is that it was a bit tight to connect and disconnect the switch from the dock and it didn’t come with power adapter ( but could get one reasonably priced that worked). So not great for regular traveling back and forth but smaller than the Nintendo version and a good value for the price.

    // Looks
    I love the look in person. Themed peripherals are always cool.

    // Quality
    It’s very light, but it doesn’t seem low quality. It’s sturdy and supports the Switch well. You don’t need to touch it at all to dock and undock it.

    // Form Factor
    It’s low profile and easy to insert the Switch into. This is great for entertainment centers with limited vertical space (photo).

    // I/O
    I didn’t expect a full array of I/O ports, but they’re there! All in an easy to access area.

    // I Like It!
    I can definitely recommend this as an additional dock or replacement for the OEM gray. It’s much cheaper, looks better, easier to use, and works just as well as if you got it from Nintendo themselves.

    Low Profile. Works Great. Looks Cool.

    I got this since the other more compact docking station was finicky when putting the switch on it. I had no issues with the Switch lining up and connecting to this new docking station. It’s not quite as smooth as using the factory one, but it’s still easy to plug in. Since I’m not using any protective case on my Switch, I had to use the supplied silicone rectangles on the edges to keep the switch stable. I do with they were .5 – .75mm taller, but they work well enough. Functionality wise, I had no issues.

    I was very nervous to use a non-Nintendo 3rd party portable dock because of horror stories I remember about poorly made docks bricking the Switch. This one worked great though. Make sure that you use a switch power adapter or third party adapter with the correct specs to ensure proper usage. Great picture and the button on top that allows for switching inputs worked great and was convenient. Comes with several USB ports to plug in headphones or charging cables.
    My only complaint is that once it is docked, it is a little difficult to undock; with the OEM dock it easily lifts right out. This dock makes such a secure connection that you need two hands, one to hold down the dock and another to firmly remove the switch. Still a great product.

    Works great, but a little difficult to disengage.

    The retro design choice is pretty solid with colors and shapes that evoke the image of the original Nintendo Famicon. The charging station comes with a USB-C cable but you’ll need your own power adapter to plug into, and with most chargers this will slow things down compared to the charger included when you buy the Switch.

    I would call the quality of the charging station “collectible”. It looks good sitting on a desk and feels nice and solid when you pick it up. The design is looks good and there is even a little texture where the buttons are.

    An interesting thing about this dock is that the USB connector was actually able to charge my son’s Switch even though it has a damaged charging port. I think the connector might be a little bit longer that the USB-C cable in the switch box? Kind of cool.

    First, I love the classic Nintendo look to this charging console. It has a small footprint, which is nice and doesn’t keep my switch backlit while charging, so it won’t be distracting at night. The only real downside is that my switch lite doesn’t fit snugly into the holder. It’s a bout loose and off kilter. It’s usable, and charges, just not stable with a four year old around.
