Great value for money, they are not the very best, but for the price they are high quality. It’s the 3rd Hisense TV I have owned and I am delighted with their products. The first product purchased in 2016 and still good and going strong!!!

Best tv I’ve had for a while, does everything I want it to do and the picture is super clear, also the gaming mode is good as it recognises when you are playing a game or watching tv. Definitely worth the money

I bought this as a second tv. The main tv is in the living room and cost 4x as much as this tv. I was expecting a pretty low quality picture and sound but was pleasantly surprised. Yes it’s not perfect but at 300 it’s pretty damn good.

I bought a high sense TV a few years ago via Amazon and was impressed with the value for money it offered. As a friend pointed out Samsung an LG we are new to the market a few years ago so it was worth taking the chance. Perhaps the picture quality et cetera might be better with one of the other brands but for the price point it is very hard to beat. I am more than happy with the TV and remote and its interactivity.

The TV itself is great, the picture quality and the sound is fab. We bought this TV in particular because it has a good menu for freeview and a good home page. That being said, delivery was later than anticipated, so we actually bought it elsewhere and returned the one from Amazon, but still a good product.

The UI is very snappy for a low cost TV.
Sound is decent, but needs a soundbar.
Connextivity is excellent with the PS5 and Apple TV. Cec works perfectly.

Picture is very good for the price

Great bargain TV, lots of APPs. Has Disney, Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube etc. Used with Hisense sound bar but TV on board sound was ok. Picture quality good but I don’t know how this compares to more expensive TVs
Happy with purchase on Amazon Prime members day.

Never thought I’d write a real review but this changed my mind, to start with the only reason I wanted to buy a new tv was so I could make the most out of my ps5, I’ve been playing a ps4 game on my old tv and was happy but realised I was missing out on the quality after looking up any reviews on the ps5 and the best way to enjoy it. I looked up best tvs to play a next gen on and the Hisense came up, I was shocked that Amazon had a 55inch that I thought would work and the price was so low I had to take the chance, let’s face it why pay so much for a ps5 and not get what you pay for. Anyway I recieved the Hisense within a couple of days and plugged it in to my console and I have to say I love everything about it, the game I’m playing was made in 2019 and it has blown me away playing on the Hisense and wouldn’t change it. It’s simple but gorgeous and since I only watch or play games through my console be it prime, Netflix or YouTube or for the main reason gaming I love it. If my TV is this good and you want a budget TV that has all the big named brands have I’m a happy guy. Thanks and treat yourself

It is a great tv for the price range. It’s not the easiest to use and it can be a little laggy. But when it’s good it’s really good and it’s so nice to hear the sound without having to boost the volume too near full.

I was a bit apprehensive going into this range of TV but getting it during Amazon Prime with 300 knocked off felt like an opportunity that couldn’t be missed.

I do not regret my decision, the picture quality is stunning, particularly when I am sim-racing and the game mode with anti-lag automatically engages the moment I switch my input to a game on my PC.

The audio I haven’t dabbled with since I am using a soundbar.

There is a nice selection of settings to dabble with and it is worth spending the time messing about with them to get the picture you would like.

Great TV, would highly recommend.

This TV was very disappointing at first.

I had to pull the power to it between every movie we watched, it’s plugged into a very good quality SSD drive and continued to reject file types until you pull the lead out. Simply turning it off and on has no effect.

I’m used to extremely high end tech, this makes all the promises and admittedly has a superb screen, but the firmware/software desperately needed to be updated so that it actually worked.

So yesterday I sat down to watch a film and it notified me of an enormous software update. Having had the upgrade, it is absolutely fantastic, it’s as good as an LG or Samsung, for sub 400 now that it works was a serious bargain. No more glitches or crashing.

So long as you connect yours to a network for the update, I would strongly recommend one of these, extremely good value. The sound is rubbish, same as all TVs, but I have it connected to a 11.1 cinema system and it’s now way better than my old LG.

Simply put, this TV is incredible and great value. The picture quality is great and the 60hz gives it a smooth feel when I’m playing my Xbox. Looks sleek and modern too. Very light so can be seen as cheaply made but it means nothing since the TV is great. I wasn’t excepting much at first but I’m pleasantly surprised. The remote is very easy to use and is nowhere near complicated. Clearly labelled and simple.

The picture quality is definitely its biggest selling point, gaming being second. The game mode is great, it seems to make the screen slightly more responsive and smoother. It brightens the screen slightly too to make it more vibrant.

The sound is much better than I anticipated, I put off buying a sound bar and now I don’t think I will purchase one at all. It’s loud and crisp, no muffling. I found a tool in settings that makes voices louder so you can hear words way better from the TV. A lot of shows and movies have loud music and sound effects, so you can’t really hear the actors clearly, but this makes it much better to listen. It’s easy to find in settings.

When you are on menus and scrolling through things like Netflix or changing the volume, the actions are slightly lagged, which can result in overcompensating by pressing buttons multiple times to do what you want. This has happened twice now, but it certainly isn’t putting me off of keeping the TV.

This is most likely my biggest purchase of the year and quite frankly, I don’t see any problems with this TV. Lag is common on Smart TVs and this one, sadly, is no exception.

I’m definitely telling my tech-loving friends to consider getting this TV as it’s perfect for those on a budget who want a very good TV.

Its a good cheap TV,
If you are expecting the world like you get with a top of the range Samsung, Sony etc then don’t bother with this TV.
If you are just wanting a decent TV with the newest Smart TV Features, good size screen and decent picture quality and decent sound.
Then this is the TV for you.

If you want to spend a bit more money, for a higher quality TV then do that,

In hindsight, I should of paid an extra few hundred and bought a Samsung or Similar.

Light bleeds from the sides of the screen, and the sound automatically changes depending on what you are watching, even after you turn off the auto feature.

So sometimes in the middle of watching something, the sound will automatically change to a different mode, and you can’t hear anything, you turn the volume up and then suddenly mode changes again and then you get blaring sound coming from the TV, where you scramble for the remote to reduce the sound again.

Decent TV for the price, but if you can afford it…get a better brand TV

I just got the 50″ version of this smart TV (QLED) yesterday and I’ve been watching and fiddling with it since. Have to say the picture quality is the stand out feature – I suggest going into the display controls and turning off the backlight feature for a picture closer to OLED quality. To be clear, the TV is QLED not OLED, but the colour contrast and saturation gives the feeling of watching an OLED TV. This quality I feel is enhanced by not having the picture backlit. The picture is reminiscent of a good OLED display on a smartphone, which to me is a good thing. It’s 4K too so the resolution is crisp. With regard to the sound, it’s loud, very loud. The bass is a bit flat though at higher decibels, no real need for a soundbar unless you really like to feel that bass when you watch movies at home, to get that cinema effect. I have only had the TV for a day so I can’t speak to it’s longevity, but it appears pretty sturdy and the electronics seem well engineered (if that’s the right word…). For the price of less than 400 I think the quality is excellent. I’m sure you can do better with the bigger TV brands like Samsung and LG, if you’re happy to pay the steeper price, but this TV is rather a bargain and so far I’m pleased.

UPDATE – it is now 22 February 2023, I’ve had the TV since Christmas 2022. I’ve been watching Stranger Things on Netflix and I have to say the TV REALLY DELIVERS! This TV is perfect for Netflix, particularly as many titles are in Dolby Vision… Did I also mention that one of the main features of this TV is that it’s built for gaming..? The sad news is this TV has risen in price by around 70 since I bought it, taking it over 400. IT’S STILL WORTH IT! If you’re thinking about getting a new smart TV you will never regret getting this one.
FURTHER UPDATE – the TV is back down to the price of 379, and still a great bargain!
