Really nice television with many apps and easy set up. Am looking to buy the smaller screen for my bedroom. I have purchased a Hisense tv some years ago and it’s still working great. You can rely on a Hisense brand and it has a wonderful display good quality picture.
The remote has all the apps for easy access. WiFi connection is easily accessible and there are numerous channels available spoilt for choice. Brightness perfect. I love the VIDAA APP FEATURE.
I was a bit skeptical about this TV being so cheap but it I am pleasantly surprised. It’s in my boys play room so it didn’t have to be the best TV but it’s really nice. Quality seams really good and the picture quality is excellent. Would highly recommend it to anyone
I always believe you get what you pay for. But this tv was for our bedroom and the picture quality is great for the price. We have a more expensive one downstairs in livingroom which is better yes. But 4 times the price better. You would have to be extremely into your tech to say yes to that one.
Really happy with the functionality and picture. Sound is good too for a flat screen. Defo recommend
This tv is absolutely amazing it’s 65 inches of pure beauty for 429 you can’t get a better tv in my opinion the picture quality is outstanding the sound is insane pure quality by Hisense I’ve got a 55 inch in my bedroom I’ve had for 2 years and that’s the same been amazing so I stayed with Hisense highly recommended
Bit of a jump up from our 32 inch. Can’t find any buttons on the casing so if I lose the remote I’m stuffed. Picture pretty good. Sound could be better but at the price it’s a happy purchase.
Over all pleased with the quality of the tv. Find annoying the amount of delay when changing settings. At times the screen goes blank and you`re not sure what is happening.
This is in my gym and the picture quality is better than my mid range Samsung. Annoyingly I wanted it mainly for YouTube but the YouTube app is awful with two adverts for every video, you can skip after a time but constantly grabbing the remote to do it is annoying and if you ask Alexa then Alexa will skip the advert and the next video in the queue… probably would not have bought this had I known.
I bought the Hisense 55″ TV and it was delivered very fast with live tracking. It was easy to set up, sleek design, good condition, great picture quality and a high performance. I absolutely recommend.
It’s got a lovely colourful sharp picture and what a good price. The sound is fine. I’m afraid we don’t use all the amazing features and buttons on the remote, so I can’t report back on them, because we just run it from a Humax set-top-box to record programs on, but it does seem to come with everything you would want.
I’ll start with my only real negatives with this TV.
1) Sometimes I have to unplug it completely to get it to reconnect to my WiFi. It’s very very rare but still worth noting.
2) Prime Video is pretty useless.
Titles often show as Blank and I get Error messages. (I’ve ended up buying a Fire Stick mainly for Prime and the unavailable WWE Network.
Netflix, Disney Plus and the excellent Wu Tang Collection (which I discovered via Roku) all work perfectly well.
It does easily set up to WiFi.
Looks great playing Bluray.
I am an Xbox gamer and the game mode is pretty good. I’ve enjoyed the detailed graphics.
It feels sturdy with a nice thickness.
50 was about the right size for me and fits nicely in my setup.
Especially with movies and games. It’s great to have a nice big screen with good resolution.
For the price you can’t really go wrong although you may need a firestick or Roku for Prime.
The product arrived well-packed and delivered to my hallway on the correct date without any hassle. The box it came in is sturdy enough to make a great Wendy house.
The TV is fantastic quality with a super HD crisp, bright picture, and excellent sound quality. It offers free channels and we chose to place it on a unit. The two support stands can be positioned either 44 inches (112 cm) apart or 24 inches (62 cm) apart, making it suitable for most units. You can safely place this TV on a unit measuring 18 inches (46 cm) by 28 inches (71 cm). The remote is simple to navigate, and the setup is very easy, whether done manually or using the app, we are contemplating a 2nd purchase for our 2nd reception room. Overall, this Hisense TV is high quality.
6/7/24
I’ve used this TV for a couple now weeks all the settings are easy to use, it’s superb. A really good bargain.
Purchased 43 inch VIDAA Smart UHD4k
First impressions were very good for the price. Feels solidly made and was well packed. I was sceptical about the screw-on feet but they work well and are rubberised on the bottom.
Instructions and set up are surprisingly clear and intuitive.
Picture quality is excellent, very sharp and natural. Picture quality can drop off slightly depending on the viewing angle, so best viewed roughly at head height.
Sound will probably not satisfy audiophiles but I found it just right. Great voice clarity and crisp music with some useful tweaks available in the settings like an adjustment to minimise sudden volume changes within broadcasts.
All of the main apps seem to be available plus many others I shall never use. There is also a built in Freeview receiver which will self-tune once an aerial is connected.
Regardless of the price-point this all the TV I’d hoped for and more. Highly recommended.
Purchased to be used as a computer monitor so I can’t comment on the Smart TV features as I haven’t set them up. As a monitor though it’s great. The picture quality is genuinely good and I’ve had no issues adjusting the resolution, refresh rate or HDR settings, although if you’re on Windows you’ll need to download their HDR calibration tool (it’s free) otherwise HDR video playback will keep turning off in the Windows settings. The TV has plenty of picture and colour settings to play around with and after maybe 20 minutes or so I got it looking great with surprisingly good blacks for a non-OLED screen. I purchased the 43 inch A6KTUK mostly off the back of a review on WhatHifi.com who gave it 4/5 and it’s worth reading it for a far more comprehensive review than I can give here, but so far I agree with everything they wrote about it.
Negatives I’ve found so far include;
-lack of central stand which is common to a lot of modern TVs and makes it annoying if desk space is limited, but the feet are sturdy enough.
-the headphone jack has noticeable electronic interference. I use a DAC hooked up to the PC so it’s not going to be a problem for me but it’s worth noting.
-power cable is quite short
If you buy it don’t forget to register for the 2 year warranty on the Hisense website.
Overall I’m very happy with this television, it has a brilliant picture, and having come from a well regarded LG set, it’s on par with that. The OS is decent, I particularly like that there is an “Apps Only” option in Account Settings; it helps tidy up the home screen, leaving only minimal intrusive background imagery with no clutter. I was also very impressed with how light this TV is, it’s literally half the weight of my LG and the build quality seems just fine, it doesn’t look cheaply made or shoddily finished. Very smart looking. As far as apps go, I only really use Plex, YouTube and Prime so can’t comment on live TV services etc.
Minor irritations:-
The remote is a little clunky (having come from an Amazon Fire TV Cube and its almost perfectly-designed remote) and the OS can be a little sluggish, especially when changing volume (there’s a slight delayed reaction) but again that’s only a minor complaint given that this isn’t something that needs doing every five seconds – we generally set it at a level and leave it for a while. Also, with Plex, a number of movie files play choppily (I’m unsure why this is, but I’m making a list of the affected files to see what they have in common, and will report back here my findings… IF I can identify the source of the problem). All is well with Amazon Prime and YouTube though, which operate flawlessly.
Overall I couldn’t be happier with the set, I’ve found it to be exceptional value for the price paid. Highly recommended!
First off, Arrow XL were excellent couriers, a live tracker and a call 1 hour before delivery was superb, If only all couriers were this good.
The 65 inch is mahoosive which is what we wanted. It is a very well designed TV e.g. it has 2 different options for the feet placement, but we were wall mounting it anyway. The power cable is a plug-in type meaning you can route it through a hole without taking the plug off which is very handy.
The outputs (HDMI, aerial, USB etc) are all side mounted which is also excellent; no more bending and crimping cables against the wall as some other TVs have the outputs going straight out the back.
The VESA mount is (I think 400x400mm but don’t quote me on that). The instructions were poor regarding VESA mount for the wall but we eventually found that 2 of the mounting holes had blanking screws in them, we took them out and hey presto we found all 4 holes.
The picture is very good for this price point (a lower end 4k LED TV). It is better than my 4 year old TV of the same brand, but the blacks etc are still not going to be as good as a 1800 OLED. But it is a great picture nonetheless.
The home screen and remote is very good. The menus seem fairly quick and there are laods of options to choose preset colours. I’m lazy so just left it on standard for everything and it looks great. There are also advanced options if you want to fine tune the RGB, colours, contrast etc but the standard option looked fine to me.
The home screen closely resembles that which you get on an Amazon Firestick. The Freeview play is very quick and groups all terrestrial streaming services together which is great. The inbuilt menus and apps are far quicker than my fire stick hd max so we don’t use the slow laggy fire stick anymore.
The sound is really good but I use an AV receiver and speakers anyway.
This TV has an HDMI ARC output which is great, I hooked it up to my AV receiver and I didn’t have to change anything, it just recognised all of the settings and the sound came out perfect. Another good bonus for this TV, as on my last TV I had to set all the outputs up manually which was a pain.
Overall, for the price this is an amazing TV and considering it is the 65 inch (which are expensive due to their size) I think it very good value for money. It needs to last me 5 years for me to deem it reliable, so time will tell.
