This product has boosted my work performance as I work from home. I have managed to connect a 50 inch 4k TV directly to the HDMI port and now my pc has become a complete package – work, entertainment and fun!
small but powerful is this NUC Pc, ideal to hook it up to a NAS box and use as a PLEX server or a home server connect to your TV.
Bought to replace an approx. 18 month dead Beelink Mini PC and looked to Intel, hoping for a high quality product. So far have been pleased with the purchase, the physical feel and look of the product seems solid and of good quality. I added 32GB memory and a 1TB Evo 970 M2. Installed Windows 11 Pro, am running Home Assistant and AdGuard Home in a VM. Has been very stable (is always on in a customised low power profile), performance in the VM and host has been great. The graphics when connected directly to my 4K display has been crystal clear and responsive. I haven’t tested with games play, but from first impressions and experience from other systems, I would expect it to handle light modern gameplay adequately. The overall package, I feel, is a great starting point to expand on. I couldn’t see a full NUC (I.e. not bare bone) with the CPU Generation, the size of memory and the size of drive I wanted at a price within the budget I set, but this bare bone came in at a good price that I was able to expand on. Transfer of OS was troublesome for me at first, so make sure you are covered either with a license for Windows or a plan for a Linux install or hypervisor, etc.
At this moment in time I recommend this product for those that are confident building from bare bones.
I recently purchased the Intel NUC 13 Pro Mini PC with the Intel i5-1340P processor, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. As a tech enthusiast who loves tinkering with hardware and software, this barebone mini PC has become the heart of my home server setup, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance and features.
The processing power of the Intel i5-1340P with its 12 cores and 16 threads, clocked at up to 4.6GHz, is nothing short of impressive. Whether I’m running resource-intensive applications or multiple virtual machines, this little powerhouse handles everything with ease. The Iris Xe Graphics card adds a nice touch for occasional graphical tasks and light gaming, even though my primary use case is server-related.
Setting up the system as a server with Linux was a breeze, and from day one, it has been running flawlessly. The fact that it’s remained stable without any issues speaks volumes about the quality of the hardware. Moreover, the system’s responsiveness and speed are genuinely surprising, considering its compact form factor.
One standout feature of the Intel NUC 13 Pro is its whisper-quiet operation. Even during heavy workloads, the fan noise is barely noticeable, making it an excellent choice for a home environment. The small size of the unit is a real boon — I’ve tucked it away in a cupboard, keeping my setup clean and clutter-free. However, the device’s sleek design is so appealing that it’s almost a shame to hide it away.
In terms of connectivity, this mini PC offers a plethora of options. The Thunderbolt 4 port, WiFi 6E, USB 3.2 ports, and Bluetooth 5.3 ensure seamless connectivity with a wide range of devices. I’ve taken full advantage of these features to integrate the mini PC into my existing network setup without any compatibility issues.
Adding an M.2 NVMe and an SSD along with 32GB of RAM has transformed this mini PC into a true workhorse. It handles multitasking effortlessly, and the lightning-fast storage ensures quick data access and reduced loading times for applications.
I was also thoroughly impressed with the packaging and the lightning-fast shipping. The product arrived in pristine condition, securely packaged to ensure its safety during transit. The prompt delivery exceeded my expectations, allowing me to dive into setting up the system without any delay. I wholeheartedly recommend the Intel NUC 13 Pro to anyone in need of a high-performance mini PC solution.
In conclusion, the Intel NUC 13 Pro Mini PC has proven itself to be a fantastic investment for anyone seeking powerful performance in a compact and versatile package. Its robust capabilities, combined with the ease of setup and impressive connectivity options, make it a standout choice. Whether you’re using it as a server, a workstation, or a multimedia hub, this mini PC delivers exceptional results.
The Intel NUC i5 is a true powerhouse encapsulated within a compact form factor. I am astounded by the immense power it offers despite its small size! This pint-sized computing marvel combines the performance of a full-sized desktop with the convenience and portability of a compact device. It has a powerful Intel Core i5 processor which delivers blazing-fast speeds and exceptional multitasking capabilities. I can edit high-resolution videos, run resource-intensive software and engage in intense gaming sessions with absolute ease and efficiency. It’s incredible! The graphics performance is equally impressive, thanks to its integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. This model didn’t come with RAM or SSD built-in, so I was able to fully customise the Mini PC to my requirements without incurring unnecessary upgrade costs. This really is a fantastic little device for anyone who wants top-tier computing capabilities in a compact package
