Sturdy cable, have been using this for a while now and still as good as new. Some cables I’ve used before tend to break easily with wear. It charges well. I would buy again and recommend.
Had this a couple of months now. Used on a daily basis. All good, no signs of wear at all. Seems strong, and covered in cloth like material. No hint whatsoever of the end coming off and getting jammed in the phone as reported in some other reviews. Probably not quite as quick at charging as the lead that came with my phone, but not a lot in it. My friend has had one of these for years and it’s still going strong.
It doesn’t seem to matter which aftermarket charger I buy to replace the original, it never lasts as long. They all seem to become slightly loose in the charging port over time, this item included. That being said, it has lasted better than any others I’ve tried. I guess I need to weigh up the cost difference and environmental impact between buying one of these every 6 months, or a genuine one every 12….. But surely both should last as long as the device itself if looked after?
