Good picture, but was not suitable for my wiring setup on my van. The LEDs were always on and bright white would have had to rewire my setup to the reversing light. bought it as a replacement for a camera that was also used as a rearview mirror so was unsuitable for my va

It provides basic functionality. The installation process is similar to other reverse camera systems, where you connect the power line of the camera to the car’s reverse light system. However, the screen part can be a bit tricky as it requires a wired connection and occupies the cigarette lighter power socket. Proper arrangement of the power line is crucial to avoid inconvenience and maintain aesthetics.

After installation, a test revealed that the image quality from the screen is average but sufficient for daily use. There is a slight delay that needs attention. Its major advantage lies in its affordability, priced at 32.99 with an additional 20% discount, bringing the actual payment to 26.39. It’s remarkable to think that for under 30, you can acquire a reverse camera system.

This was quite easy to set up. It comes with all the leads needed to hook up the whole kit.
You do need to do some pre-planning though as you will be fitting in an additional screen in your vehicle and you need to make sure it’s not going to impair your vision in your windscreen.

You shouldn’t have any issues if you have a van as you’ll have plenty of space on your dashboard, but may be a little tricky on smaller vehicles.

I set out planning on where to fit the screen first as this is where all the cables will run from.

I routed both the power and camera cables along the back of the dashboard along the windscreen edge till I came to the pillars.

Here I split the cables, one towards the footwell to feed the power, whilst the other, I ran up the pillar, along the roof lining edge towards the back of the van.

Once at the back, It was simply a case of exploring on where to install the camera.
I fitted the camera just above the number plate and fed the tiny camera plug via a small notch on the side of the number plate lights. I did have to score a tiny gap in the plastic clips for the cable to be routed through.
I then plugged the cables together in the back door and closed all the panels back together.

I had about 1 meter of extra cable which i coiled up and stored in one of the pillars at the back.

Don’t expect 4k quality on the screen, but it’s decent enough to see what you are reversing into. It’ll save you bumps and scrapes.

Night vision is ok, but would have bee great to get a wide view. It’s not wide angle enough for my liking, but for up to 5 meters, it’s perfect.

As the title says considering the price this is not bad. You’re paying pittance so don’t expect HD and perfect sharp pictures with great colour and contrast.
So with expectations set it’s now not such a bad little unit. Best suited to a van or such where no rear view mirror is possible as the screen takes up some space. Fitting is easy enough and it’s nice to get an unterminated lead to splice into the fuse box for a tidy permanent installation. As I say for under 30 what do you expec

I own an old car that doesn’t have the luxury of a reversing camera, which is why third party ones like this can come in so handy.

It’s easy enough to install, either hardwired in or through your cars cigarette/charging port.

The monitor and camera doesn’t give you the greatest picture in the world, but considering the price point, it’s more than adequate and it has built in lights so it can be used at night too.

It also has lines overlapping the video image, letting you know how close you are to an object, which I find so handy as I often struggle to judge distances in my rearview mirror.

All in all, it’s a good rearview camera and monitor for the price.

I hope you found this review helpful.

Easy to set up and good picture quality, You can change he viewing experience on the screen and also reset back to factory setup. Lightweight, small, compact it still big enough to for my reversing needs.
