This is a fun and silly set of novelty glasses which is perfect for when you want to enjoy a more spooky and fun atmosphere like at a halloween party for example. The pair of glasses come in a resealable plastic bag and I was given the spider web option to review. I have to say that these glasses are bigger than I thought they would be. The centre hole of the web is not where my eyes sit and each individual web on each eye is bigger, like really huge sunglasses, making these glasses stick out from the sides of my head.
I actually like the size of these and the fun look to them. There’s a cute spider (without its legs) sitting on the top of each web and the glasses are mainly black plastic with some white line details to show the spider and web better. As far as comfortable, they weren’t a perfect fit, most glasses I try on never are, but they were quite comfortable for my head size which is somewhere between small to medium for a woman’s size. These are certainly a great set of glasses for having some silly fun. My family found them very funny when I was wearing them and it’s very easy to see everything around you when you wear them, despite some of the plastic web in front of your eyes. Overall a fun set of glasses for a party which doesn’t just have to be at halloween.
Some things just have to be done. And in this case, I gave these glasses to a goth associate of mine. Who then happily giggled for a good ten minutes.
They’re cheap, silly and you can see through the strands with a bit of squinting.
So overall, it’s a win!
