Great dash cam, excellent image quality with on phone view. Intuitive app and easy to save clips. Once installed you’ll only ever have to download if you have an incident well designed thought-out and manufactured.
I’ve had a fair share of some bad dashcams but this camera from LINGDU saved me a lot of money and it is perfect!
First of all this is a small camera that hides nicely behind my mirror and once you hide all the cables around the trim, you barely ever notice it is there.
This camera has a really good video quality and I am super impressed how good it is both during the day and at nighttime. I actually managed to record some stuff and play it back to my friend and now she’s going to get one as the quality is so good.
This camera has a wifi feature so you can easily access all the footage directly from your phone. It is easy to set up and you can also control it with voice commands. All of this at a super low price !
5 out 5 stars highly recommended. All I need now is to get the rear view attachment. Perfect!
This dashcam is a great addition to my vehicle. Its compact 2K resolution, GPS tracking, and Parking Monitor feature have proven invaluable for my daily commutes. Night vision impresses even in low-light conditions, and the wide-angle lens ensures a comprehensive view. The app control adds a layer of convenience, and installation was a breeze with clear instructions. A reliable and efficient dash camera that I highly recommend for enhanced road safety.
Good value for money, and comes with everything you need in the box apart from the SD card but then I guess it wouldn’t be so cheap. The picture quality is okay, and the number plates are legible, the unit itself is mall and sleek and can be mounted nicely behind your rear view without it being a distraction.
The app can be hit and miss like others have said but again for the money this is a really good unit and have had other dash cams 3-4 times the price and all have similar issues, so overall you have to remember the price point and it is a lot of dash cam for the money!
I’m very impressed with this dashcam and it deserves a solid 5-star review for its exceptional features and performance.
The Super HD 2K resolution in the front camera provides incredibly clear details of license plates and road signs. This high resolution could be a lifesaver in case of incidents on the road.
The LINGDU app is also great, allowing me to view and manage my dashcam recordings in real-time on both iOS and Android devices. The built-in GPS helps accurately track my driving route, which is handy for many reasons, including insurance claims.
The voice control feature is incredibly convenient, letting me control the dashcam with simple English voice commands while keeping my hands on the steering wheel. Tasks like taking pictures, locking videos, and managing settings have never been easier. The 0.96″ LCD screen is informative without being distracting, and the voice guidance feature adds another layer of usability.
The dashcam’s performance in low-light conditions is outstanding – it captures clear images at night.
The 24-hour parking surveillance, time-lapse recording, and collision detection features are invaluable. Knowing that the dashcam is actively monitoring my car gives me peace of mind, and the ability to capture incidents automatically is a crucial safety feature.
In conclusion, the LINGDU D100 dashcam is a great choice for anyone seeking a reliable and feature-packed dashboard camera. Its exceptional video quality, user-friendly app, voice control, and advanced features make it a must-have for road safety and peace of mind. I highly recommend it, and it absolutely deserves a 5-star rating.
The main plus point of the camera for me so far is the compact size, as I don’t like having a big bulky object on the windscreen – which some I’ve tried in the past have been. This is very discreet and almost unnoticeable when driving.
The quality of the footage is more than good enough for its purpose and it’s very simple to connect the camera to your phone through the app.
The voice activation is a bit glitchy and it certainly doesn’t love an accent.
For the price it’s a great little dash cam.
Decent enough camera and good build quality. Relatively easy to set up and simple enough instructions even if the booklet is small. The camera itself is not too big so it does not stick out on the dashboard, I have removed a star for not having an SD card included as I think that there should one in the package to let you use it right away as it doesn’t work without one and the price is maybe a tad high but it is a good product once you get it up and running
The LINGDU D100 dashcam certainly raises the bar for compact car camera systems in its segment. Right off the bat, the 2K recording capabilities deliver impressive detail, capturing every nuance of the driving environment. Whether it’s discerning distant license plates or interpreting crucial road signs, the high-resolution video, backed by the reliable Novatek NT96562 chipset, consistently impresses. The seamless integration with the LINGDU APP over Wi-Fi is a thoughtful feature, making it effortless to access, manage, and share recordings on-the-go.
The built-in GPS and real-time playback on the LINGDU GPS player add another layer of utility, making this more than just a dashcam but a comprehensive vehicle management tool. At night, the superior vision technology combined with the f/1.8 aperture and 6 glass lenses ensures that even in low-light situations, the captured footage remains clear and detailed. And the Time-Lapse Recording, alongside collision detection, provides peace of mind when the vehicle is left unattended.
The voice control feature, however, feels like a mixed bag. While it does enhance hands-free operation, the rigidity in its voice command recognition can be slightly frustrating at times. It’s essential to remember specific phrases verbatim, which can feel a tad restrictive. For instance, the need to say “open recording” as opposed to the more intuitive “start recording” feels like a missed opportunity for a smoother user experience.
Despite this minor hiccup, the D100 remains a robust and reliable dashcam, packing a multitude of features in its compact frame. Its 0.96″ LCD display coupled with voice guidance ensures easy navigation and utilization, making it a solid choice for those looking for a high-performance dashcam without a hefty price tag.
Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
A 2K mini dash cam, that can be used forward facing, and I hope rear facing, as I would like one on my rear window to catch idiots coming up behind me.
Because this dash cam is so small, there is no screen to review footage, the 1″ screen on it is only for displaying the dash cam’s status. To review the footage, you are required to download their app, allowing you to connect via Wi-Fi and download your recorded videos to your iOS or android devices.
The camera has a voice control feature, which allows you to control the camera with voice commands. You can say commands like take picture/ lock the video/ open recording/ turn on WiFi/ turn off WiFi/ making it easy and convenient to control the camera and keeping your hands on the steering wheel. A point to note, is that it only accepts English commands.
The camera comes with full instructions, a cigar lighter charging cable, an interior dash prying tool and cable connectors, as spare square of double sided tape, and two sheets of electrostatic film to stick the camera on to, but no micro SD card (TF), so order one at the same time as buying the camera. You attach the electrostatic film onto the windscreen first, so that the camera gets a good adhesion onto it.
It also comes with night vision, gps (allowing videos and photos to be geo located), a parking monitor, although a separate cable connected to the car’s battery is required, and not supplied. Again, order a cable at the same time as purchasing the camera, if you want to use this function.
It’s very handy, as it will record time lapse photos of the view outside your car, and if anything hits your car, it will record and save a video.
The camera was easy to set up via the app, and to fix to the windscreen, it’s probably best to affix to the passenger side of your rear view mirror, so that it’s not in your field of view.
I’m trialing this one on my rear window, as I already have a front facing camera, and it’s working perfectly, the voice commands are a clever feature, allowing you to lock certain videos and pictures straight away, so that they don’t get recorded over, on the loop recordings setup.
The pictures day and night are very clear, as is the audio.
A great neat camera that I’m happy to recommend.
