This smart bird feeding camera is great, easy to install and easy to operate. Connect to the network, scan the code, register an account, and you can see the bird watching camera has clear pixels on your phone. It also has 64G memory and can automatically capture/record videos. It also comes with a solar panel, which I’m very happy with!
The camera quality of the lollyes is superb, delivering bright and crisp video footage. Its solar panel feature not only provides sufficient power during summer months but also helps save on energy expenses. However, I have concerns about the durability of the thin plastic sheets, especially in inclement weather conditions.
This bird feeder is much better than expected, comes with two options of storing SD or HD video so isn’t too taxing bandwidth wise when in the garden. Other than that its great to see the different birds that come in the garden, the alerts are almost instant, only downfall is no protection from Squirrels! Which had managed to unscrew the antenna!. Otherwise its just what i wanted. The best part is that it sends notifications to my phone whenever a bird visits the feeder even when I’m not at home, so can see whats visitors i have in the garden while away!
UPDATE: camera seems to lose connection every now and then if over 15 metres away from the router or a wifi extender, would definitely recommend getting an access point to extend this out further in the garden depending on where you want it to get live footage, otherwise you will just get notifications sent through momentarily. Also the bird AI doesn’t work in the UK yet, which i didn’t realise prior to purchase.

I bought this a present for someone who loves watching the birds in their garden and telling stories of how the squirrels steal the food, so I thought this would be good for them to be able to see the footage back and show off.
The unit itself blends nicely with most surroundings. Camera is a little large so not sure if that will put the birds off or not. Well packaged, solar power is a huge plus.

Easy to setup with good instructions. The picture quality is good and clear. The app is easy to use. The mounting bracket is solid and adjustable with screw mounts or a belt mount which can be attached too objects such as trees. Solar panel and included memory card are a bonus for setup.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. It’s taken a little time to set it up, however now it’s up we’ve seen our resident Robin visit it and hope we’ll get lots more of our local birds visiting!
This is a brilliant product with a high quality camera which detects motion and records on an sd card.
Assembly was really easy as the all the items are seperated and labelled in mini boxes.
Had no issues setting up the camera on the app on iPhone.
The whole unit is well built and sturdy once connected onto the bracket which can be drilled or strapped on to a tree etc.
Even in the British winter, the solar panel is adequate enough to charge the battery as mine has stayed at around 88-90%.
A great buy and kids love watching the birds feed.
This is way better quality than I was initially expecting.
For the money I paid for it, I was not expecting much but was pleasently surprised when it arrived.
I bought this item as it was cheaper than other similar items with the same functionality with the intended use of being put up outside our motorhome while we are in it, so we can see the birds that are feeding at the sites we are staying at.
The box it came in looks very expensive and well put together – Shiny printing and plenty of diagrams and instructions.
It is a fairly heavy item due to the rugged attachments and fittings that it comes with.
The outside box has 5 individual boxes inside, with all components very well packaged.
Emptying each box on a table makes its easier to assemble, but the whole process only took about 15 minutes to complete. The longest time was getting the camera to connect to the app. Note: this camera only supports 2.4Ghz networks so if you have 5G available on WIFI (Not 5G cellular) select the non 5G SSID.
Once assembled it looks amazing with its camoflage wood look. The wifi signal is strong and the image qualiity is superb.
As it was late in the day when the item arrived, I have not put it outside. I will do that in the morning when it is brighter.
The Solar panel is a good size and looks like it will keep the camera battery fully charged during a sunny day, then the internal battery should be big enough to power the camera over night, thus giving 24/7/365 birdie action.
Over all, I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a garden full of birds that they want to observe, without breaking the bank.
This has to be the best way to be able to get a full on insight of what’s going on in your garden with regards to general wildlife as well as birds, in my case it does get set off quite a few times for squirrels which is great to see them although a little bit annoying that they come and steal the rest of the food however most of the time it’s set off by the wide variety of birds that I didn’t know we had all of the time throughout the garden.
Each bird basically sets off a little bit of a motion sensor which records the bird flying in and out as well as identifying that specific bird to tell you and create sort of a collection of animals or birds so you can keep a track of every single one of them. The camera is extremely clear which allows you to see the birds nicely and then gets quite a lot of really cool motion on the videos as well as having a solar panel which keeps the camera itself topped up so you never have to charge it even in the UK where there’s very little sunshine it’s still plenty to be able to keep this topped up.
Overall the only negative I can see is the fact that it doesn’t get set off when I see hedgehogs or foxes going through the garden so I would love to be able to get myself a lower down version that could feed them as well.
This was an inspired gift for my mother-in-law’s birthday. I did have to go and set it up for her as she is in her late 70s and not very technically savvy, but it wasn’t that complicated once I got my head around it.
The box is really nicely made, and it looks like an impressive gift. Everything is laid out individually inside in labelled boxes which made putting it together simpler. Everything you need is in there, even a Philips screwdriver.
The first thing I did was scan the QR code on the box and instructions which downloaded an app to my iPhone, I don’t have an android, but I imagine it would be a very similar set up.
You do have to register with an email address, but this did not take long and it was ready in a couple of minutes.
After putting the camera and feeder housing together, you turn the camera on with a switch that is hidden under a rubber bung, presumably there to make sure it stays waterproof, and then press the reset switch, which makes a blue light come on at the front of the camera.
At this point, a voice spoke from the camera telling me it was ready to connect. With the app ready on my iPhone. I pressed the plus icon to add a camera and then entered the Wi-Fi details. Then the iPhone screen showed a QR code which the instruction book told me to hold 4 inches from the camera lens.
The camera can then get all the information it needs to connect to the Wi-Fi from this QR code. It’s a fantastic system which has really made setting this type of camera up so much easier. When I think I used to have to deal with IP cameras years ago which were always a headache, this is a breeze.
Once the camera has the Wi-Fi settings, it appears in the iPhone app. There is a play symbol and when you press that you get a live video, it’s that simple. There are lots of settings, you can zoom the video in which I have done a bit, You can set the camera to record to the cloud service or an SD card. You can even talk from your phone to the camera, (your voice comes out of a little speaker built into the camera!) I imagine only Dr Dolittle would make a lot of use of that feature.
I’ve set it up as a shortcut on my mother-in-law’s iPad, and she has been over the moon. Maximum son-in-law points for me.
I’ve posted a short video (cropped in imovie to remove neighbours, original is landscape orientation with a date code in the top left) This is from when I tested it here before giving it to her. She hasn’t worked out how to email me videos yet, but I will update with some images from her garden when I next go there. She has been amazed at the variety or birds she’s seen – and even a squirrel.
Overall, it works, great photos and videos, and I can see my feathered friends whenever I want. I just love it. Make sure the signal strength is sufficient, it just depends on your network.Easy to use and great quality.
Very nicely packed and easy to assemble. Everything was marked and labels. They included extra screws as-well. Lot of accessories to screw it and hang it on a tree. The only thing is that I will have to buy subscription for recording after trial ends
I love being able to watch the birds from the comfort of my own home and know when I need to put more seed on the platform. This is not the first bird watching camera I’ve purchased. It’s pretty easy to download the app and set up the system. Charging is longer than some other brands. The video is accurate and good.
Love this bird feeder. We got it as replacement to low budget bird feeders which we had purchased earlier from local store. Those did not had any mechanism for capturing bird videos images as no cameras were mapped to those.
After bit of research decided to purchase this bird feeder as this not only had camera but also has solar panel attachment which makes it one time installation and that’s it.. camera charges via solar energy no hassle of removing cam for charging indoors

I purchased this to go in my garden. The camera is very easy to assemble and is very solid and well made.
The camera itself is very easy to set up and in the app you get full control of the camera settings.
I have this attached to a fence post via the included strap which is very secure and holds the camera nice and firmly in place.
It’s absolutely fantastic to see what birds come in my garden and this camera provides amazing quality images and video straight to my phone.
