Comfortable, secure looks as good as a strap can, winner winner, chicken omelette as they say in certain circles.
Original quest 3 head strap is quite painful to wear after 30 mins. This one whilst needing slightly clearer installation instructions is so much more comfortable to wear. Easier to put on and remove for playing purposes. Would defo recommend
got this for my quest 3.. having tried the standard head strap when i first got the quest, i can say its not very comfortable , especially after prolonged use.. this one makes it such more pleasant an experience.. cheaper than the official elite straps. I can never go back to the standard strap again..
It’s bliss compared to the regular strap that ships with the meta quest. It follows the same adjustment style as the official elite strap but at a fraction of the price. I’d definitely recommend getting this to enhance your comfo
I highly recommend buying this head strap if you own the Meta Quest 3! It’s so much better than the one supplied. It’s also a lot cheaper than the official elite one. It was easy to install (instructions included) and makes playing for longer so much more comfortable. It’s very easy to adjust to get the right fit. Couldn’t be happier!
I wanted a replacement headstrap as the ‘default’ strap is uncomfy to wear. I didn’t want to spend a fortune so I opted for this one. So glad I did. It fits on the main unit perfectely and is comfy to wear. The wheel at the back makes it easy to put on and off, which is handy when passing the headset around to friends and family.
It fits great, 100 times better than the strap I got with the headset. Super easy to adjust when swapping between different people (Just move the dial at the back to loosen or tighten) Doesnt feel too plastic but sturdy enough for all your VR needs
First things first, dead cheap and effective upgrade to the awful useless strap that comes with it. I just didnt find it as comfortable as the third party strap i had on my quest 2.
Glad a took a chance on this rather than an official (overpriced) accessory. It’s decent quality, works well, and is so much more comfy than the awful default strap. Kudos to Meta for making it user-replaceable I guess. Now my Quest is approaching PSVR levels of comfort.
Went from only being able to play for like 2-3 hours max to playing for 11 hours straight. Now, would i recommend that it’s healthy to be in vr for that amount of time? Absolutely not lol. But, point being: this thing does its job very well. Even if you have a small head like me, it fits great and is very comfortable. Would recommend!
Having owned all the Meta Quests from 1-3 I have always struggled with the head strap.
When I got the Quest 2 I struggled with the headband I vowed to buy a 3rd party replacement , but never managed to do so.. mainly because the cost of the official Elite head band was eye watering and because the quest community did not review the official headband upgrade as either comfortable or of good quality with many users reporting structural failures. I tried to get the bobo version but it was always out of stock or a long waiting list so never got one with the end.
In getting the Quest 3 I noted the headband was virtually the same as the Quest 2 so new I was in a heap of trouble. Saw this one on Amazon with favourable reviews so purchased it with the attitude that at the price if it was not very good it wasn’t a huge loss if it didn’t work out.
After unpacking from the box . Everything seemed of reasonable good quality with nothing that jumped out at me to say otherwise . Installation on the Quest 3 was an absolute breeze. It took me about 5 mins to swap out the straps.
On wearing the headset with the new headband , it was instantly more comfortable than the original, weight distribution seemed much better and the weight of the headset did not seem as heavy on my face.
It was easy to adjust to get a good fit.
My lad even though he has a Quest 2 ( my older headset ) seems to keep pinching my Q3 , on my Q2 when he did this it was a real pain to adjust the head strap, took ages to re adjust and get comfortable to my head again , but that’s not the case with this new strap as adjusting it to new users/heads is very easy and quick making it so much less of a hassle when sharing your headset.
The other thing I particularly like is the ability to slip up the headset while keeping it on your head so you can quickly access the real world while wearing the headset. This is especially useful if you sitting at your PC setting up or checking out PCVR for example .
With the original official headstrap I would tend to get VR fatigue in about 20-30 minutes where the pressure of the headset would hurt my face . This is not the case with new strap.
For an example I setup Skyrim VR on PCVR a for the first time and fell down a VR rabbit hole , and eventually climbed my way out and hour and a half later with no/little VR fatigue. This is something I have never been able to do with the Original strap.
In conclusion this strap is very good value for money , such a massive upgrade from the official supplied strap and so much cheaper that the official Elite strap.
No doubt this strap is a game changer for your quest 3 and incredibly good value
I wear glasses and found the default quest setup to be very uncomfortable and I also couldn’t focus the image properly.
With this I can wear it all day and image is crystal clear. This is the first thing you should buy with the quest 3
I hated the Quest 2 because it was so uncomfortable even with the super expensive original elite strap. I bought Quest 3 and paired it with this and it’s so so much better and comfortable than the elite strap of the quest 2.
The hinge makes it so you can pretty much set the entire weight on the headset on the crown of your head and you can also move it to get it out of the way if you want to use the quest laying looking up on the bed. Very good.
Trust me you need this. The original strap for the Meta Quest 3 is ridiculous!
I was a little skeptical at first considering the price of this bit of kit but after using the original Meta Quest 3 Starp for a while it would hurt the back of my head so I took the plunge & bought this & its actually really worth it. This Starp is easy to assemble onto the Quest 3 & is very comfortable. A great bit of kit for the Meta Quest 3.
First thing I noticed with the quest 3 was how awkward and uncomfortable it was. This style of head strap really should have shipped with the device to begin with but I presume they were cutting costs.
This strap is a big improvement over the original, much more comfortable and easy to adjust. Glad I got this instead of the overpriced official meta one. Happy with price/quality.
Along with the around-the-neck battery packs you can find on here, this is a must have accessory for the quest headset.

Metas quest 3 original headstrap sucks! There I said it! Its like they designed it to give you the most painful kind of headaches possible so youd fork out 70+ for their “elite” strap that has less features than this one!!
If your sick of the headaches with your quest 3 then BUY THIS STRAP!! Its cheap and does exactly what it says it will!
Ive been playing resident evil 4 on mine with this headset and its wonderful, theres a little pressure on the for head and cheeks but about 80% less than with the atrap that comes with the quest. It feels like theres a bit of support at the base of the skull and the feeling of the strap over the top is so comfortable its like its not there.
Just get this strap already you wont regret it!

Value for money is insanely good when you look at the price of the others, it’s well made from good materials and has transformed how the headset both sits on my face and how long I can use it for, I did a 1hr race last night which meant I had the headset on for probably pushing 2hrs straight and wasn’t feeling any issues at all, really secure too with the soft rubbery rear interface which conforms nicely to the crown of your head.
Big recommend, I had the bobovr for the Q2 previously and was going to purchase one for this when they came back into stock but honestly not sure I need to as this one does the job perfectly.
Obviously can’t really speak for longevity, but on the surface doesn’t seem like it will have any quality issues.
