Can have no real complaints (aside from very minor gripe that I’ll mention later). It does exactly what it says it does. As a horiztonal stand for the PS5, this FAR exceeds the God awful design of the Sony official stand, which just left my PS5 balancing awkwardly from the middle and wobbling every time I went near it to change disks and / or dust it.
So I went and researched into this product and it looked like a simple design that would do the job that I wanted and it did all of that. PS5 is far more stable using this. Highly recommended. Even includes some bonus USBs if you want to charge your controllers or whatever, though personally I’ve rarely needed to use those myself as I have a separate twin controller charging station.
My one minor gripe? The right-most part of the stand (where the extra USBs are) seems to fit very snugly and solidly on to the PS5. However since the left-most part of the stand is designed to support both the digital and disk based versions, which have a different shape depending on which one you have, it’s nowhere near as snug a fit – for reference I have the disk model myself. It feels a little loosely fitted.
Minor gripe because not once has it made a difference to how the PS5 stands, it has never fallen or threaten to fall off or anything. But I’d have just liked a tighter fit there, similar to the other side of the console.
Anyway it’s a great product that does exactly what you’ll need it to do. You’ll never go back to the official PS5 stand after using this.
Just upgraded to PS5 but wasn’t impressed with the Sony stand provided. This product looks great, is easy to fit and leaves a gap underneath the console for air flow. I docked a point as the integrated usb sockets don’t recognise my hard drive so I’ve plugged it directly into the back of the PS5. Am still pleased but I’ll never use the usb sockets given the latter and would probably have bought the lower priced stand with no charging points if I had known.
Over all a good stand and better than the original stand. I have read some reviews and one said one side fits better than the other. I had no issues fitting this to my PS5.So why the four stars, its only a little thing but I found my exturnal hard drive would not work in the transition port. Its a WD black so a good brand. But my headphones work from it so not the end of days so 4.5 stars
