I regularly make smoothies and cocktails in a blender, and this syrup is great for coffee based cocktails and even works well with some fruit ones too, such as blackcurrant.
I love the flavoured syrups for hot drinks in Costa (other brands are available.) Treated myself as it was the time of year for copious mugs of hot chocolate. I wish they did the Black Forest though.
I got a new coffee machine for Christmas so I treated myself to this. Amazing. I have not been tempted to buy expensive coffee while I am out since I bought this. I will definately be buying this again.
It was much larger than I had anticipated (that’s what she said). I only brought it to make Gingerbread Old Fashioned Cocktails. Give them a try, they will give you more of a morning pick than a coffee!
We buy this because it is the same as just using sugar – ie it is tasteless – but we like the fact that it doesn’t need to dissolve. Great for cappuccinos/lattes etc.
This brand of syrups is used by one of the big coffee shops either Costa or Starbucks and I can see why, its delish!
Once you’ve worked out the right amount to add to your coffee/tea it just takes it to another level and you won’t need to be paying through the nose for an overpriced Starbuck coffee again.
My go to coffee is a black americano with cinnamon syrup. I got sick of paying for it in starbucks so a few months ago I bought this to go with my new coffee machine. This is the same syrup as used in starbucks so a great buy for me. In fact I have since purchased it a couple of times.

No real issue with the syrup or pump as individual items but very confused as to why they would sell this as a pair when the pump doesn’t fit the syrup, it does however, fit the 1l bottles so not a complete waste as I do have a few. Just weird.
I believe this brand is the prefered and more expensive product.
I can only compare it against the other brands I have tried, but Monin is not as strong or sweet as the other brands, which is not necesarily a bad thing, I estimate one tea spoon of Monin is equivelant to 1 tea spoon of madera sugar, the organic vanilla syrup I use would definitely be far sweeter and a more indulgent vanilla flavour.
Not sure why there is a versatility gauge on the review form, vanilla syrup is really only suitable for coffee.
