Seems like a nice game but as I’ve purchased it to be shipped to EU, currency in it is and units pounds and miles so not really for non-UK market. Loads of facts not related to units though so you might be fine with it.
We’ve taken this to every house party and it really kicks up a stir. We play slightly different. Everyone gives there answer on a cheap whiteboard (purchased separately) then we go around and they justify their choice answer. We have played in pairs secretly whisperering, teams and singularly. This is hilarious The answer is then given from the card which also contains factual information about the answer. It can be eye-opening and causes gasps and the ‘What, really” factor. Definitely one of our greater game purchases. Love it, great value
Telly, computer, books, tablets, mobile – all discarded to play this game. Answers lead to wide range of
discussion topics. Moody teenager became animated and chatty, adults sharing knowledge, youngsters gained confidence by getting more answers right than adults and all in good fun. Well worth the money
Loved the game there were no complicated rules so we were able to play immediately. We were 3 adults plus two lads, 12&14 and all able to answer each question but we were also able to help the youngest by suggesting how things he did know would help him answer seemingly impossible questions. Spent a very enjoyable afternoon playing this.
Played this several times over Christmas with ages ranging from 91 to 15 years. Everyone enjoyed it, as over a range of questions, even if you had no clue, you still had a 50% chance of guessing the right answer. In the end, we all learned new interesting (and often useless) facts! To keep the game lively, I cherry picked my questions as some of them are a bit weird or dull. That said, we got 20-30 minutes of fun each session.
We enjoyed playing this on Christmas Day with the family, but found a lot of the questions to be UK centric, as well as a couple of errors (answers not matching questions on the same card).
Still very fun for a family party game!
Kids love it and it ignites their imagination, encouraging them to make sense of the world we live in and notice/realise how biased we can be in our perceptions. It’s brilliant to be given these seemingly disparate statistics and make connections we might not have considered before. Some of the questions involving countable nouns seem a little awkward and I would have preferred seeing ‘fewer’ rather than ‘less’ there, but I’m not an expert. Overall, really glad I found it!
