Nefuo Upgraded Facial Interface for Quest 2, with 3PCS

Nefuo Upgraded Facial Interface for Quest 2, with 3PCS Sweatproof Anti-fogging Breathable Foam Face Pad Replacements, Non-removable Nose Pad & Enhanced Vent Design Facial Bracket for Meta Quest 2

Okay as a replacement for the oculus quest 2 foam padding and does work better than the one the system comes with preinstalled. Only comment would be the price as it is a lot for what it is. Worth it as a replacement if the foam on your headset is completely beyond saving and a bit more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
This facial interface features a number of design improvements over the stock interface. The first improvement is the ventilated design. This design helps to keep the headset cool and prevents fog from building up on the lenses. The second improvement is the adjustable nose pad. This nose pad allows you to get a custom fit for the headset, which helps to improve comfort and reduce light leakage.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Nefuo Facial Interface for Quest 2. It’s a great upgrade over the stock facial interface, and it has made my VR experience much more enjoyable.
Having seen the other reviews this seems a no brainer for anyone with a Quest 2.
The pieces come delivered crammed into a small cardboard box with no wrapping/plastic/film over them. Would have liked something to make sure they are new / hygienic. Regardless just gave them a wipe down.
The bracket really does block out the light you get with the standard Quest fitting.
The leather pieces are more comfortable so I would say use these for watching Netflix/movies.
The mesh is definitely the best option when doing any sort of fitness games – I enjoy a couple of boxing games and this is much better for when you start sweating, and easy to clean.
Worth buying just for the bracket alone but with the additional pieces, really is a must buy.
The Quest 2 is a fun piece of tech, but not the comfiest thing out of the box. I upgraded the strap, which was a huge improvement, and have now added this facial cushioning, which has made it much more comfortable to wear for longer periods.
Finally was able to sit and watch a full film in the VR movie theatre without having to constantly de-fog and shift the device around. I’d still say that you won’t want to spend hours on the Quest, even with the upgraded strap and facial padding, but it’s definitely a step up.
Not sure about the longetivity of this interface, but it’s easy to install and well worth the cash, even if you only plan on playing for an hour or so a week.
It is always good when you buy an aftermarket part and it simply fits, first time, without any persuasion or frustration. This ticks that box, it clipped in perfectly in place of the original face interface. It comes with three pieces one breathable fabric and two different types of “faux leather”. Overall a very comfortable piece of equipment and enhances the long term wearability of the headset.
The Nefuo Upgraded Facial Interface for Quest 2 comes with both fabric and faux leather options that are easily interchangeable.
While I do find the default facial interface comfortable on the Quest 2, it’s not easy to clean and I would like to have wipe clean options when sharing the headset with others.
The Nefuo Upgraded Facial Interfaces do a great job, I don’t find them as comfortable as the original or the more expensive aftermarket interface I had with my Quest 1, but for the money they do a good enough job for me.
I got this for My Sons meta quest 2, he was really impressed that it blocked out all light and felt more comfortable than the one that comes with the quest, he loves the one that comes with the fixed nose part, just about to order another for my other son who will be getting a quest for Christmas
Beat Saber is sometimes a group experience for us and since the original facial interface was a fixed-in, sweat-absorbing sponge pad I had already added a silicon overlay. It is wipe-clean but it’s not very good at staying in place.
This kit is a proper improvement, so much so that it makes you wonder why it’s not standard with the headset. Just pop the old rim out and click this one back in and you can now choose between three velcro-attached cushions, including an original-style wet sponge if you wish.
Then there’s the addition of a set of soft nose flaps that do away with the light coming up from beneath your eyes and spoiling the immersion.
Simple and superb. A real opportunity to pimp your headset.
I have a self Modified Quest 2 Headset, I had everything I needed on it except a good Facial Interface, so after trying this Facial Interface I have to say that this completes my Modifications nicely, not only that it was easy to fit and the Leather Pads provide a comfortable fit and reduce Sweating when playing Fitness type Games, also the Facial Interface blocks out all the Light which Helps with the overall VR immersive experience.
These foam eye pads, improve the use of the quest 2. They are very comfortable to wear, and a exceptionally easy to fit, I found that they did help to improve misting, but the main benefit I found was the comfort with prolonged use. If you’re having issues, with your quest to not been as comfortable as you would like. Then these may be the answer for you.
Much better than the original.
Nice and strong, having the breathable cover is so much more comfortable than the original mask.
I’m a glasses wearer and so suffer with fogging of the lens, however with these it’s completely gone, due
to the air grill in the top, however it lets in fresh air but still keeps light out.
No need to use the glasses adaptor of the original, this works without perfectly.
Also the nose cover blocks out the annoying stray light that always annoyed me when using.
Now not a spot of light enters the mask.
Excellent product highly recommend.
I almost gave this 4 stars as the self adhesive velcro inside the face plate wasn’t fully stuck down but that is so minor compared with the benefits I had to give it the full 5 stars.
The main face plate fits the Quest 2 perfectly.
The nose section works great for me letting almost no light into the headset at all which is far superior to the original.
It has a choice of 3 types of material for the face plate – all of which are good and comfortable.
What I also love is that the main plate has top and bottom vents built in to allow air flow through the pads but without letting any light into the unit.
This is a really excellent set – very happy.
This faceplate clicks into place perfectly on the quest 2, the thread interchangeable surrounds are held with velcro and are simple to swap.
The black nose piece blocks out loads of light and works really well BUT if you are doing some very active work then it doesn’t allow the heat to leave and the lenses become steamed up.
I found the foam padding to be the only pads that stopped any outside light getting in.
the two rubbery pads let quite a bit of light in.
Saying that, the foam one was so nice and comfy that I wouldn’t use the other two anyhow.
A nice upgrade from the standard part, but could have more padding to decrease the chance of light ingress.
4 stars but was almost a 3.
I had snapped my facial interface near the nose of my original while cleaning, so these were great for my situation. I found all of the foam pads to be a little too weak/lacking in support for my liking almost immediately, but the facial interface’s silicon noseguard is such a nice touch I can completely overlook the comfort. With the original interface you get a surprising amount of light bleed from your nose, these nearly completely eliminate that sliver of reality, letting you immerse yourself a lot easier. This would be a five star product for sure if the face pads were just a little more comfortable/supportive. The interface clips in easily with a little bit of pressure and feels secure.
So the original Quest 2 had the foam layer that was then later covered in a silicone layer due to sweat being absorbed into the foam. I personally don’t actually remember being provided a nose guard which may affect my review of this but MY GOD does a nose guard make a difference. I used to be able to see out through the nose of the headset which has always affected the immersive-ness for me but since replacing the facial interface with this NO light comes through the headset. You are provided with 3 different options for comfort, 1 sweatproof, 1 breathable hole face pad both of which are made of PU leather and also a mesh cloth face cushion. So far I have tried the breathable hole face pad due to me sweating so much with the original and it is comfortable and does aid in air flow a bit, reducing sweating. I am yet to try the other two but due to the velcro nature of the pads it is incredibly easy to swap them out whenever I feel like it.
A little tip for people that mention about “Fogging” in the headset. This is usually due to the headset being cold and your body heat creating condensation on the lenses so no amount of face guards is EVER going to help with this. Instead place the headset on your head NOT your face for around 5 minutes which will warm up the lenses/headset and then you will find when you come to use the headset you won’t have a fogging issue. Hope this helps
