My initial reaction , upon opening this, was where’s the pattern. The pattern only appears as a projection against the inside of the translucent material when the controller is powered on.
Other than that it’s a perfectly ok controller. It’s certainly more comfortable to hold than the ‘joy-cons’ that come with the Switch. It all works perfectly and really is plug & play.

This is such a cute controller! As a Mario fan, I love the design! I like how you can have it as a plain white controller or change it to show this Mario Pattern! The controller has buttons in the back to change colours. And it has a range of colours to choose from. I love all the rgb options.
The controller isn’t bulky and feels comfortable in my hands. And all the buttons work great. It’s a good quality controller. I was also able to get it to connect to my switch really quickly, which is a problem I’ve had with of my controllers. I can also connect it to my Ipad and phone which is super handy! It also has a button to adjust vibration intensity which I appreciate. I hate controller vibration.
It also comes with a replacement d-pad if you prefer the circular d-pad over the plus shaped one.
I love this controller. It’s such a cool design. By far my favourite controller to play with. It looks so pretty in the dark.
I had to wait for the recipient to try this out properly. She used all last evening and said that’s it’s as good, if not better than the generic controller she had. The colour changing is quite something, and certainly looks great. She said it’s comfortable to use, and the button re-mapping function is a great feature that she’ll use immediately. I can’t say anything about the battery life, but as I keep having to say about such things, what does it matter? It can be charged while in use (although you’ll need a longer lead than that supplied with it).
Price wise…no brainer. Much better value than the OEM controllers, with no discernible reduction in quality

Super impressed with this controller, the light up pattern is amazing and you can change the colour of the RGB too. I love the neutral white which matches my oled switch and my desktop set up, the fact that I can even program the light colours to match my PC rgb is cool as hell. It’s got extra buttons at the back, similar to the power a controllers, there’s a turbo button which I’ve never really found a use for when I play but I’ll find a use for it eventually. I like that it comes with a replacement d-pad, since I prefer the plus shaped one rather than the circular one. Overall it’s a super cool controller, I love it!
I’ve never been able to get along with the Joy-Con controllers that come with the Switch, so I’ve always used compatible control pads, with various degrees of satisfaction. This is the best I’ve tried. It has everything you’d need.
Comfort-wise, it’s as good as any of the officially endorsed Nintendo ones. It grips well, the buttons are all within comfortable reach, and there’s a solid ‘click’ to the shoulder buttons, unlike some spongy ones I’ve owned.
It also looks fantastic. It arrives looking like a plain white controller, but once enabled, it lights up in a variety of colours (there are seven to choose from), which you can choose to either pulsate or remain constant.
Functionally, it does everything a standard controller does and more. There is a turbo mode, the option to remap buttons, and the ability to adjust the vibration intensity. I would imagine the lights consume a little more battery than usual, but I’ve so far used it for a three hour gaming session without issue.
This controller is designed around Mario so would be perfect for Mario fan or for anyone who likes the Nintendo branding without the price tag. You can easily change the colour of the controller by pressing the back button and it has a range of colours such as yellow, red, pink, green and purple depending on your mood.
The controller itself comes with simple set of instructions, USB cable and an additional D pad if you wanted to change the pad out. The controller sits fits perfectly in my hands and feels comfortably to play and suitable for me as I have small hands.
The controller was very easy to set up, all I did was plug in the USB cable into the Nintendo Switch dock and the controller was instantly recognised. Only downside the USB is a bit on the short side if you wanted to play with the controller while charging.
Once the controller is connected, it even powers the Nintendo Switch on with the press of the home button. The controller buttons are really responsive and you got two buttons on the back which you can register controls to. There is the added feature of turbo built into the controller but as a cosy gamer its not a feature I wouldn’t use.
The controller has around 12.5 hour battery if you play with it with the lights off however not tested how long it will last playing with the lights on however I only game 1-2 hours at time so I don’t mind charging little and often.
Overall I am very happy with this controller and would recommend as I prefer it to my branded Pro Controller and it’s more affordable. This controller is also compatible with other devices other than the Nintendo Switch.
Une manette vraiment trs esthtique!
Plein de choix niveau LED, ce qui permet de matcher avec son set up et de changer selon ses humeurs.
En tant que fan de Mario, j’ai beaucoup apprci de dcouvrir le design et motifs de Mario Wonder l’allumage, les LED les rvlent.
La prise en main de cette manette pro switch firefly est trs agrable, finalement peu diffrente du confort que l’on a avec d’autres manettes, un trs bon confort en main et un bon grip.
Il y a 4 modes d’clairage et 7 coloris de LED, une dure de batterie d’environ 12h, ce qui est trs confortable en temps de jeu et vite de devoir recharger trop rapidement la manette.
Il y a la dtection de mouvement et la fonction turbo et NFC.
La fonction turbo est relativement utile pour des jeux de tir, ou des jeux avec des lancers en continu.
Une manette trs sympathique, qui dispose de la fonction bluetooth ou filaire.
Elle est compatible PC, Switch, Steamdeck.
Le rapport qualit prix est trs intressant, n’hsitez plus !
Ich habe mich lange vor einem Controller fr meine Switch gestrubt, aber nach einem Spieleabend mit Freunden muss ich sagen, am Fernseher macht die Switch mit Controller noch mehr Spa. Besonders bei Spielen wie Zelda oder Pokmon machen es die extra Tasten und das bessere Handling deutlich angenehmer. Wer schon einmal einen ganzen Tag die Switch im Handheld-Mode in den Hnden gehalten hat, wird wissen, was ich meine. Hierbei kommt auch einfach etwas besseres Konsolen-Feeling auf, als mit den kleinen Joy-Cons. Der Controller ist, so weit ich das einschtzen kann, gut verarbeitet und liegt super in den Hnden. Ein klasse Feature ist die dynamische Beleuchtung, die auf mehrere Farben gesetzt werden kann. Tagsber macht das nicht viel her, aber wenn es etwas dunkler ist, sieht das schon toll aus, besonders in Blau!
Auf der Suche nach einem Geschenk stie ich auf den Firefly Switch Pro Controller. Beim ersten Blick mag er vielleicht unauffllig erscheinen, aber er hat es definitiv in sich! Denn sobald man die Licht-Taste drckt, verwandelt sich dieser unscheinbare Controller in einen coolen Blickfnger mit einem Mario-Design in 7 verschiedenen, auswechselbaren Farben. Dazu drckt man einfach nur die kleine Taste auf der Rckseite, und schon kann man zwischen Gelb, Rosa, Violett, Rot, Orange, Blau und Grn wechseln!
Die Mglichkeit, zwischen den Farben zu wechseln, verleiht dem Spielerlebnis eine ganz neue Dimension. Es ist nicht nur funktional, sondern auch uerst unterhaltsam – insbesondere, da man auch noch verschiedene Licht-Effekte aktivieren kann. Das Mario-Design bringt eine zustzliche Portion Spa in jede Gaming-Session und es macht sich auch gut in der Sammlung. Schlielich wrde jeder erst denken, dass es sich um einen einfachen, weien Controller handelt – bis das Zocken losgeht!
Was diesen Controller jedoch wirklich auszeichnet, ist die Turbo-Taste. Die Mglichkeit, diese Taste zu programmieren, ermglicht es beispielsweise, in Animal Crossing Sternschnuppen zu farmen, ohne stndig den A-Knopf zu drcken – oder am Stck zu bauen. Das ist nicht nur bequem, sondern auch zeitsparend und macht das Gameplay noch angenehmer. Es erspart einem das wiederholte Drcken der gleichen Taste. Fr Farming-Games einfach perfekt!
Der eingebaute NFC-Chip ist ein weiteres Highlight. Er erleichtert das Scannen von amiibo-Figuren erheblich und funktioniert einwandfrei, wie ich in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom festgestellt habe. Es ist groartig zu sehen, dass der Controller so vielseitig ist und nahtlos mit verschiedenen Spielen zusammenarbeitet.
Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Akkulaufzeit. Trotz der Beleuchtung hlt der Controller erstaunlich lange durch, sodass stundenlanges Gaming ohne Unterbrechungen mglich ist. Dies ist besonders hilfreich, wenn man lngere Abende plant. Es liegt aber auch ein (sehr kurzes!) Ladekabel bei. Der Controller selbst ist relativ leicht.
Zusammenfassend lsst sich sagen, dass der Firefly Switch Pro Controller Wireless ein groartiges Zubehr fr die Nintendo Switch ist. I have to say that this Mario switch pro controller is one of the most satisfying of all the controllers I have purchased. It offers a stunning appearance, abundant features, and an enjoyable grip.
