I gave the PAMIYO 6 Pcs Lock and Key Toy a go, and for 10.99, it’s pretty decent. It’s a set of car toys with locks and keys, each with different numbers and patterns. The cool part is that these cars can be linked up to make a little train, which is a fun twist. It’s meant to help little kids learn and think, and it seems to do that pretty well. The toys are a good size for small hands and feel safe and sturdy. I also like that there’s no sharp bits to worry about. Having Amazon Prime for free delivery and a 30-day return option is handy. Overall, it’s a nice buy for young kids, especially if you’re into educational toys.
Very impressed with these from the moment I opened the box – although putting the box into a plastic bag isn’t very environmentally friendly.
Each car has an individual compartment in the box, which means they’re protected at least as well as if they were in individual bags. Coupled with that, the fact the lid of the box has a crease in it and the front panel has a cut-out everything suggests these cars may be on show for individual sale in some shops!
At the time of writing this they’re priced at 11.99, and I think they are well worth that price.
Lovely size, enough weight but not heavy, and brightly coloured. The plungers feel strong, but are easy enough to depress – and the cars then shoot off across the floor, even on a short piled (worn flat) carpet.
The box says from 18months old. I’d definitely give these to a child on their 1st birthday, and would offer them to a younger child if they made a bee-line for toy cars.
This is a nice set of numbered toy trains that are unlocked with a key like a padlock that has the corresponding number on it. There is a blank key and this is a master key that opens all 6 carriages. It only has the number as a word not as a numeral (three instead of 3) but each key has the numeral on. The keys feel fairly sturdy but may break with overenthusiasm. This is a great toy for developing fine and gross motor skills. Once unlocked, the trains can be linked together to make a long, moveable train. In order the disconnect the carriages, insert and turn the key.
This set of 4 toy cars is extremely delightful and exceptionally well made which is their stand out quality.
They are bright and vibrant in colour and the material is soft and smooth.
The chunky design makes them perfect for little hands to grab on to, they are curvy with no sharp or pointy edges so safe for even little babies and even though the package states 18+ months as the suitability age, I see no reason why younger babies wouldn’t enjoy it because of how well and safely they are constructed.
The illustrations of the animal drivers are cute and cheerful.
The friction power means no batteries to worry about and the performance of these little vehicles is outstanding on most types of flooring except for deep pile carpets. Just press down and they zoom along at speed on most surfaces we have tested them on with the little tails adorably, wagging behind!
I would definitely recommend this product and although I was lucky enough to request it for free under the Vine Program, rest assured all thoughts, views and opinions expressed in this review remain entirely honest and unbiased.
