LED Torch
The presence of illuminated keys enables effortless dialing, while a conveniently operated built-in LED torch illuminates your path.
Only criticism is the paper instructions included in pack. The print was so small there was no way a senior citizen could read it, I found a magnifying glass but even then the instructions were vague. Also disappointed the ringtone couldn’t be changed.
On the plus side it feels really good in my hand, no chance keys will be pressed in the pocket. Bought for my non techie husband whilst he is in hospital. A good produc
Navigating this mobile phone has been a breeze for my parents. Its large display is a relief for their eyes, and the buttons are just the right size for effortless dialing. They’ve taken quite a liking to the built-in camera for snapping pictures of their garden. The durability is reassuring too — it survived a drop on the patio with barely a scuff. What stands out is the peace of mind the emergency call function provides, ensuring they can reach us at the press of a button.
Battery time is over 2 weeks with moderate use.
The 4G calls are good and I like the 3 main buttons labeled I II and III on the keyboard where you can set up 3 predefined numbers to be called. Since the 2G and 3G bands in UK will be disabled soon the phone is a very good replacement for my mom. During time I did struggled in finding her phones with big buttons and not too clutter or complicated use.
For voice use the phone is good enough.
I thought this was pretty good! In the box you get a helpful manual, a charging cable and cradle, some headphones, and the phone itself. It was all packaged well and the phone battery came with some charge, to boot, so you could open it up and immediately get started.
I tested the phone for just under a month to see how it fared. It’s incredibly sturdy; it took drops and knocks very well. The screen is pretty bright and very easy to read, and the buttons are responsive. The torch was alright – nothing to write home about, but, equally, not obnoxiously poor. You accessed it by pressing a button on the side of the phone. The camera was probably the lowest point for this phone – even in well-lit conditions it really struggled.
The keypad was good, and responsive! As was the emergency button on the back. I like that it is customisable! The phone doesn’t feature apps in the traditional sense – it has a very basic UI, which is good, as it isn’t overwhelming at all. It sends and receives texts well, and though the phone speaker isn’t incredible, it works well and I didn’t struggle to understand anybody on calls.
As a basic, accessible phone, this is fantastic and really hits the mark I think. The only downside is the camera is pretty poor. But, if you need a phone that does all the basics, I think this is a really good choice.
